My kids were able to complete the entire program within the 6 months before their 16th birthdays. I'm glad that the in car portion was as spread out as it is because the ongoing support and instruction was helpful. My kids took about 3 months to schedule all 8 in-car drives. Each of the different instructors (my kids worked with several) were wonderful and patient. My kids learned so much from each of them and knowing that my kids have had a strong foundation to their driving skills is invaluable. Also, the office manager is so knowledgeable and helpful with this process. I will definitely enroll my youngest in this program when she is driving age.

Though it eliminated being committed to a specific class time and transportation to the school, it was a VERY inefficient use of time. I'd suggest scheduling the in-seat class time instead to spare everyone a headache. 2. It is made clear that in car driving can not be scheduled until the classroom lessons are complete. What is NOT clear is that you can NOT actually schedule anything upfront when the course IS done. You have to continually log into the site to (hopefully) catch an open spot. The office will tell you to check 3 times a day. 14 days later, checking the site nearly 125 times, between 2 parents and the student, and we've been able to schedule only 2 lessons. It's absurd. 3. The behind-the-wheel instructor has been great (at the appointments we've been able to schedule). That's been the only true positive part so far. For my younger child, I'll definitely be using a different company. For the current student, I can't afford to start over somewhere else so we're stuck stalking the schedule for 6 more appointments.

He was incredible, calm, patient, kind and thorough. She enjoyed her time doing the in-cars and learned a lot. She passed the test with flying colors! Fast forward to 20 and my other daughter just completed her in-cars with Kelsey. She LOVED it and learned so much! This is a great company that will respond to questions immediately and patiently. This is the worst business I've ever dealt with and I would strongly recommend that anybody who needs driving instruction not deal with this business. First my son took the online instruction. Part way through his online instruction the program simply froze. We contacted Overbeke and we contacted their owner, Ari Klarfeld. We were told that Overbeke doesn't, in fact, administer the online course but instead they delegate that out to a separate company. We would have to deal with that company even though we paid Overbeke and not that separate company. I then spent 2 weeks trying to get through to that separate company. I finally threatened that I was going to contact the State of Ohio and only then did they respond to my emails. They finally solved the technical problem and my son was able to complete his online instruction. Thereafter we endeavored to complete his in-car instruction. Unfortunately the online instruction had been delayed so long that his temp expired and we had to renew it. After we renewed it we found out that Overbeke was booking 3 months in advance. We reluctantly booked his lessons 3 months in advance and then the day before his first lesson the instructor texted me and canceled. I reached out to the owner of Overbeke to reschedule his lesson and was told I would have to wait another 2 months for in-car lessons. This is a horrible company. They have no brick-and-mortar office. They list an address on Mercantile Road in Beachwood but if you go there it's closed, no one is there, and the door has a lockbox on it. I think they may hold classroom instruction there on occasion but nobody staffs this office on a regular basis. I have never been able to reach a person using their phone number. I have never received a return call despite my multiple phone calls to Overbeke with my multiple complaints. I have rarely received a return text and I have occasionally received a return email. There is no customer service and we wasted 1.5 years trying to get my son's license and finally had to get his in-car instruction with a different company. I would strongly recommend that anybody thinking about hiring this company use somebody else. When I went to the Mercantile Road location I actually bumped into another father with his daughter, also trying to figure out what was going on. Apparently their lesson had been canceled as well. While it was good for his suffering self esteem at the time- and he did enjoy it because of that, there is no follow up people. Once the payments stop for the "lessons", so dies the camaraderie and the support, and actually- any communication at all. I just feel like - they charge a ridiculous tuition, build them up - so that they are convinced that they can become rockstars in adulthood- they get bit hard by the music and performing bug- and then they are forgotten about. A big chunk of his life and our bank account is spent there- and then what follows is nothing but disappointment and struggles and disillusionment. Three stars because they did serve the purpose at the time and nice people who seem to care- as long as the check payments kept coming.
