My kids were able to complete the entire program within the 6 months before their 16th birthdays. I'm glad that the in car portion was as spread out as it is because the ongoing support and instruction was helpful. My kids took about 3 months to schedule all 8 in-car drives. Each of the different instructors (my kids worked with several) were wonderful and patient. My kids learned so much from each of them and knowing that my kids have had a strong foundation to their driving skills is invaluable. Also, the office manager is so knowledgeable and helpful with this process. I will definitely enroll my youngest in this program when she is driving age.

The online website is an absolute mess…read more Every page has a required amount of time you must spend to read the page, so if you're a fast reader, you're just sitting there waiting for the timer to end so you can go to the next page. It's also pretty outdated, with numerous videos you HAVE to take quizzes on being completely unavailable now- leaving you to guess the answers by randomly selecting it and seeing if it's right or wrong since you can't see the video the questions are based on. The progress bar also likes to adjust itself randomly. Multiple times I have left the website at a certain percentage (Say, 28%) and come back the next day to see it's at a lower percentage (26%). I would like to emphasize that they do not use their own curriculum in the online course- it is completely through a separate company IGottaDrive, however if you are offering courses to teach people to drive, at least ensure the material in the course is not outdated... The course still states drivers need to be less than 18 to take the course when the Ohio law has changed. Lastly, the online class takes FOREVER to complete. Yes, you have 6 months to complete, but that's because of the required amount of time spent on each page, the unavoidable 2 hour break, and the fact that quizzes are often based on videos that are unable to be watched. Try somewhere else if you're looking for an online class.. If you have in-cars scheduled, you cannot see if there is any other availability UNLESS you cancel one first. If you cancel, you risk losing that appt so you can never move an appointment with the fear of losing one. The people who answer the phone are rude. The communication is terrible. The website is terrible. The instructor had us meet at a bank for all four lessons even though the "pick-up" location was supposed to be our residence. When asking the instructor, she told me that the system is not correct. I then called to inquire as to the "mix up", I was told, "I usually suggest calling the instructor a few days ahead of time to confirm the location." How on earth would I have known to call the instructor a few days in advance when the system showed my house was the pick-up residence? My daughter's final lesson is one week before her birthday so I called to see if I could pick up the certificate instead of waiting for it to be uploaded. Nope. We have to wait for it to be uploaded.

He was incredible, calm, patient, kind and thorough. She enjoyed her time doing the in-cars and learned a lot. She passed the test with flying colors! Fast forward to 20 and my other daughter just completed her in-cars with Kelsey. She LOVED it and learned so much! This is a great company that will respond to questions immediately and patiently. They have these kids complete the classes and then offer to schedule their driving test for them and if the teens decline to test with them because word on the street is that they are failing the kids on the 1st try so that they have to pay an additional 130 bucks, they take their time sending over the certificate so they are able to test on their own. Class size max is 8 students. Our instructor Brenda was good. She challenged us to use what we just learned and she talks exclusively in Spanish. 9 weeks of class, 1x per week, is $265 without the textbook. The book is $45 if you buy it from them. If you ask in advance they will tell you the name of the book for your class and you can order it on Amazon for approximately $10 cheaper. The door to the school is a little tricky to find...it is right next to the karate school. These classes will only help you with what you already know. If you need more intensive study, please get a tutor. I can recommend a few of you PM me. When I finished this class I felt like I needed more study.
