A great find! I…read moremoved back to my SMALL hometown and after living in LA for the last 16 years I thought finding the kind of quality service I had grown accustomed to would be difficult. I couldn't wait anymore for an appt with my LA estheticians and called to many places around town for a specific type of service. Much to my dismay I couldn't find a local spa that offered what I wanted. FORTUNATELY I found her online and booked an appointment for the next day. Not knowing what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised to find a quaint location near downtown that spoke to the "spa" feeling I was hoping for. Nice cozy seating area, with that lovely spa sent of lavender in the air. Good assortment of product on the shelves. The owner and esthetician Elia Brummell greeted me right away and took me to the room after paperwork was filled. The room was immaculate with all her waxing product extremely clean and organized. She was very professional and thorough in her explanation on her services and during the appointment. She went ahead and redeemed my voucher for the day she forgot to book my appointment and when it came to the rescheduled day, I show up early and the place was closed. I called with no answer. She texted back around half an hour later and was defensive and claiming I no showed. Couldn't believe her. Needless to say I would rather take my business elsewhere.

All of these ladies schedules on are time, like a well-oiled machine. But instead I found something even better, a home that can take care of all of my "I deserve this" needs. The salons owner Melissa who takes care of my nails is an absolutely fabulous conversationalist but you won't hurt her feelings if you say you just rather sit and listen to your music or surf the web on your phone. Sage who does my hair. She can do any kind of hair, color, highlights extensions. If you're a guy you need a haircut or a little kid you need a haircut then Sage is your person. You've got Denise who does waxes, eyebrows, facials and a whole host of other things. There are additional Hair & Nail estheticians in the salon but I just can't remember their names at this time. All I can say is as soon as they get it a masseuse in I will be spending my entire Fridays in there. Thank goodness they are all young, well young based on my age. This means they won't be retiring soon and I will have Melissa and the whole crew for a long long time. If you are time oriented and need an appointment they are perfect if you just need to drop in they are perfect but I do suggest you call ahead if you want to drop in because they are just that busy. And one more thing you get what you pay for. You go to a cheap salon where they push people through like animals to a slaughterhouse, you get sloppy jobs. You come here and you get a super professional job and well worth every penny to look as beautiful as you can be. At no time did she say I should not get them or tell me to be careful with long nails. I got the nails done. It took 3 and a half hours. Three days later one completely broke off. The next day another broke off. I requested $20 refund, for the nails and being late. After long nonsense responses she only gave me $10 and blamed it on me that it was my fault they broke. Very unprofessional on how to respond to clients when there is conflict. Don't blame the client!
