Hers was pretty simple, I just wanted the dead ends, cut off and the man who cut her hair did an excellent job. I told the woman cutting my hair, I can't remember her name, that I wanted just half an inch off the length and I wanted a blunt cut. She asked me if I wanted face framing layers. So layers just around my chin. I told her that would be fine. She then asked if I wanted layers around the rest of my hair. I reiterated that no, I want a blunt cut and I want it to be all the same length. I only want half an inch off my hair. She turned my chair away from the mirror, so I could keep an eye on my daughter, which was fine. Unfortunately, it also meant that I couldn't really see what she was doing. I did see enough to know that she was not cutting my hair horizontally, meaning she was not using a blunt cut. She was using a point cutting technique, holding the scissors vertically. I was not super happy about that because I was pretty clear that I wanted a blunt cut, but as long as it was all the same length and only half an inch, I didn't really care at that point. I just wanted to get out of there because we were running late. After she finished cutting my hair, I glanced in the mirror, then threw it up in a clip because my daughter and I were running late for her gymnastics class. When I got home from her gymnastics class, I took my hair out of the clip and was shocked to see layers cut all over my hair, layers that took off at least three or 4 inches of length. Literally everywhere. I had spent two years growing my hair out to be all the same length and it was finally getting to a length that I was enjoying. I had to go the very next day to get it fixed because I can't stand layers in my hair, they make my hair feel thin. So I had to pay twice for my hair to get cut because this woman ignored what I wanted done, and not only that she charged my six-year-old the adult price. This happened weeks ago and I'm literally still upset over it. The price is one thing, but for her to ignore what I wanted for my hair? That's unexcused. I told her no layers, blunt, and all the same length. I repeated it multiple times. I ended up losing about 4 inches of length when I only went in for a half an inch trim. I do not recommend this place and I would not go back. She cost me a minimum of eight months of hair growth. I'm still livid about it. I'm giving two stars only because the man who cut my daughter's hair did a good job.
