They made me sign the AOB (assignment of benefits) which mean your insurance pays them instead of you. My roof was leaking and the roofing company told me they don't know how long the fight with insurance will continue and there is no guarantee that my insurance would pay us to fix the roof. So I went ahead and fixed that damage area plus all the damages inside the house. Six months later my insurance company agreed to pay them. They sent the check directly to the Orlando Roofing Company and I did not even know how much they paid them. This company came and changed the roof and did A VERY BAD JOB!! They tore my window screens and they were so rough on the roof that the fan in my bathroom fell down!! They covered the attic ventilation where the heat was supposed to scape, with shingles. They ruined my yard and patio furnitures by throwing the old shingles down, and the flower beds and driveway were filled with crap and nails. When I called them to come back and fix what they damaged and especially fix the opening in the attic, the crook owner "FRANK" told me: (Don't even talk about it and let it go because we are not coming back!!!) This means the warranty they give you is all BS!! After my insurance company paid them, they cancelled my insurance. I called the insurance to find out how much they paid them because I never got any information. My insurance paid them $45,000 from which $11.300 was to fix the interior damages but I fixed it out of my own pocket and the ORC (Orlando Roofing Company) kept the money my insurance paid them specifically for that. I had to get a lawyer and fight for 6 months till they paid me 1/2 of $11.300!! When my insurance company sent me the papers, I saw that the roofing company claimed damages in my house that did not exist, like living and dining rooms and the kitchen, they even included a picture of someone else's house just to collect more money from my insurance. The whole damages including the roof were not more than $30,000 but with the insurance fraud ORC did, they got more than $45,0000!! I am planing to report them to the authorities for insurance fraud. DO NOT HIRE THIS FRAUD COMPANY neither sign AOB with any company unless you request "IN WRITING" two signatures to cash the check that your insurance company will issue(the home owner signature and the roofing company signature) otherwise the roofing companies especially Orlando Roofing Company, are bunch of crooks and they wait till they find a naive homeowner to open their trap for them!! What a nightmare!…read more Century roofing replaced our roof after hurricane Milton, and destroyed our home due to their poor workmanship and complete lack of accountability to repair properly. Our roof was "completed" on January 4, 2025 and immediately started collecting pools of water under the roofing material. We contracted for a modified bitumen flat roof replacement with a hard 3/8" silicone protective coating. That style roof is tightly bonded to the underlying hard material. What they installed, without our knowledge nor consent, was a loose plastic sheeting that was poorly attached at the edges with a thin 3/4" flashing and sealed with acrylic caulking. none of that would have passed a building inspection. Did I mention that they never pulled a permit, as required by law? Well the acrylic caulking melted away on the first warm day (which is almost any day in Florida). Water constantly built up under the cheap plastic roofing material and we could feel waves whenever we walked on it. The expensive silicone coating that was to harden more than concrete within six months, never bonded and crumbled like sand to the touch. Our home interior became unusable for months due to ceiling collapse, water damage and mold. it smelled horrible for months. We reported the problem immediately, and often until October, when we realized that they would never repair it. They had sent people to randomly caulk areas to "fix" the leak, even though it was apparent that the entire seal was faulty and that the materials under the cheap plastic were full of water and mold. One time, the home office sent a crew to replace one piece of underpayment, which they did while completely ignoring that all of the surrounding wood and materials b egg low the plastic were very wet and moldy. The owner himself even came out and declared the roof to be dry and properly installed. we have videos from before and after his visit showing puddles of water below the cheap plastic material. We never once went onto our roof from January until October without feeling those puddles under our feet. Iur flat roof is actually our terrace that we use regular. it was clear that their repairs were never going to fix the problem and our home would remain unusable until we hired someone to replace their work in the flat roof. Both areas of flat roof needed to be completely removed and started from scratch. So we had to pay another roofer to do that. A few days after the owner of Century declared the roof good, the new roofer pulled it up and found 80% of the wood was rotten due to water damage and mold. None of the industry standard methods of sealing the roof had been performed. Just short cut after short cut. We also had to pay another contractor to remediate the water damage and mold throughout the interior of the house that all came from the century roofing installation. We had just redone the interior earlier in the year after hurricane Milton, so everything was good before the horrible roof from century destroyed it. I wish that I could say something positive about Century Roofing, but I had to pay to replace my roof twice plus several thousand dollars more to remediate the damage caused by their poor workmanship and defective construction.

Everything had to be done exactly as contracted and in a timely professional manner. Of the three bids ANC was the highest by $1400.00. After taking a few weeks to research each company and weighing out my options I decided to go with ANC. They have an excellent reputation in my neighborhood and they were the only company that said that they do not use subcontractors. The process of replacing the roof took three days from start to finish. The crew showed up a day after expected and worked a day later. There was a mishap that resulted in some damage to my neighbor's property. An after hours plumber was called out pretty quick and adequate apologies were extended to my neighbor along with a gift card. They were happy with the results. The crew also attempted to install our roof while it was raining. For safety reasons I asked them to stop working while it is raining and they responded well. I thought that everyone was very respectful and pleasant. When they completed the job my property was left clean and orderly. It is their policy not to take any payment before the county code inspector does their inspection. It did not appear to concern them that payment is made several days after their work is completed.

I called Jason at Fortified Roofing Solutions and they sent someone out to take a look and identified the problem where the previous roofer forgot to take out the screen of the drier roof vent. They were fast and didn't charge me anything due to the simplicity of the issue. I highly recommend this company as they have integrity and will honor their warrantee work unlike RC Roofing. I worked with Jason and he was very professional and honorable which is hard to find in this industry these days.
