I cannot in good conscience recommend Chris to clean any longer. I spoke to Chris about hiring him…read moreto clean, and sent money to him on 9/12/25 as I have done multiple times over the last year, and we scheduled for him to come clean my apartment on 9/21. He backed out, citing having to cover a shift for an employee at a different job. This wasn't a problem; he rescheduled for 9/23, only to back out again, citing the same excuse. On 9/29 I asked him if he wasn't going to be able to clean by 10/1, could he send the money I sent him back to I could use it on more pressing things. I told him that I wasn't upset, I just needed to use that money. He said he would show up 9/30. I messaged him in the evening, and never got a response. I messaged 10/2: no response. I messaged 10/3: again, no response. At that point I made a request through CashApp for the money I had paid him, being unfamiliar with the refund process. On 10/10, I used the actual refund process to request the money I paid for services never rendered, but CashApp cannot refund money once it's sent and the process goes through. Meanwhile, Chris has continued to apparently be online on Facebook, but hasn't even read my messages, let alone replied to them. Buyer beware.
