If you are buying a used car, get a pre-purchase inspection. It is worth the peace of mind. Hieu is extremely thorough, and has a great eye to catch even the smallest of details when inspecting a vehicle. He runs his business in a professional manner, and is very friendly and knowledgable. He will answer any questions you may have, and his inspection results will help you make an informed decision regarding your potential purchase. The value received is worth far more than the amount paid for the pre-purchase inspection. Hieu has already inspected two vehicles for me, and I will definitely use him again in the future. read more

Pro Car Checker - Detailed inspection report - Car Inspectors Near Me

Heiu checked a car for me about a month ago, and it was a smooth and easy process. Paid Heiu one day, and he had completed the inspection and returned a completed report to me the next day. Heiu's detail and data in the report was impeccable - it gave me the confidence and information i needed to make the right choice. I was able to secure the car I wanted after Heiu's report - I would definitely recommend, and will use Heiu again if needed! read more

Incredibly thorough inspection. I looked at and test the drove the car myself for 30-60 minutes before the inspection. The inspection caught a lot of potentially serious issues that I did not see or even think of looking for. Excellent inspection service. I would absolutely use Pro Car Checker again in the future. read more

100% Excellent work as the assessment provided saved me from spending $13k on a car that was a lemon. So thankful to have a mechanic that knows about cars and was quick in responding and mobile and willing to come to the dealership. Will definitely going to them again if I decide to buy a used car in the future. Price is definitely worth it considering it saved me from making a bad investment read more

Hieu is very professional and did a thorough pre purchase inspection (PPI) for a used Tesla car I was looking to purchase. I bought the standard inspection which was $149 and it came with many photos, a full checklist of things inspected, and also many additional notes. I looked at the car myself so I can confidently say that Hieu did a fantastic job inspecting the car since he caught many things that I did not see myself. He was also quick to respond to any questions I had about the PPI afterwards via text. Thank you Hieu. read more

Heiu Misrepresented the true condition of my car to a prospective buyer. and furthermore, made false reports that are not true. including photoshopping pics to make them look worse than reality. Heiu in my opinion does not have the expert mechanical knowledge and is not qualified to do this job. My advice: get a second opinion so you dont risk loosing out on a great Car. read more

Hieu is the man! Punctual, thorough, friendly, experienced I'm really glad I had Hieu inspect used cars prior to me making a big financial decision. I highly recommend him before making a big purchase read more

I needed a pre-inspection of a vehicle I was considering. It looked amazing and had a clean CarFax report, but since I live out of town, I was especially concerned because I don't know anyone in the area. I saw the reviews for Pro Car Checker and thought I'd give it a try. I'm both happy and relieved that I did. Hieu responded quickly and contacted the seller, and they arranged a time for the inspection as I wouldn't be able to attend. Hieu provided a very detailed report, photos, and an explanation of everything he noticed and checked. Even things I hadn't thought of including some anomalies in paint and other potential issues. I will not hesitate to use Pro Car Checker again, and I recommend them to anyone looking for a detailed pre-vehicle inspection. He really is amazing at what he does and obviously takes pride in his work. It's no wonder he has such high ratings. read more

Fast and convenient. Reviewed the vehicle and the components that were important. Took my phone call to discuss just after sending report. Photos helped immensely. 100% would recommend!! read more

I had the pleasure of having hieu inspect a truck I was planning on buying off of Facebook marketplace. I thought the deal was too good to be true so I called a professional. Huey was thorough and honest. This was five years ago till this day I haven't had a single problem with the truck he inspected. I'm planning on buying another car from a private seller and I wouldn't call anyone else to help me make my decision. read more

I had a great experience with Hieu from Pro Car Checkers. He was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with from start to finish. He sent me around 100 photos of the car and was very thorough during the inspection, and explained everything clearly. He also gave me helpful recommendations on what to look for in the type of vehicle I was considering. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to get a pre-purchase inspection done. read more

I've had 2 other vehicles inspected during my car search- although the others were also good, this was by far the best inspection experience I've had. I called day-of thinking there was no way they could see my car, but the inspector found a way to squeeze me in that day. He made sure to check all my areas of concern and spent plenty of time on the phone with me explaining everything and answering all my questions. He even sent photos ahead of the report and offered to go back to take more if I wasn't satisfied! When I went to the dealership (a far drive, which is why I had an inspector go ahead of me first), I was told he was there for 1-2 hours checking every aspect of the vehicle. Ultimately, I did end up buying it because I had the added peace of mind that the inspection had gone well and my truck was going to be free of issues! The inspection itself was comprehensive and cost less than some other mobile services, so it's definitely a good value. I would absolutely recommend these guys for your used car inspection. Thank you so much! read more

Pro Car Checker - Car Inspectors Near Me

Ok so I'll be honest: I've never written a Yelp review before. But Pro Car Checker significantly exceeded my expectations so it feels wrong to NOT write one. Hieu was very quick to respond to any messages, he was punctual, and he was extremely thorough in his inspection. When we met at the seller's location he took the time to point out issues that I didn't see! They were all cosmetic, so I didn't mind. Both he and I test drove the vehicle. It went extremely well. He made me feel very informed in making my decision to purchase the car, and overall it was a fun experience just chatting with him! I'm absolutely going to recommend his services to friends and family that need a car checked for a great price. read more

I totally recommend you hire this guy if you're ever thinking of buying a used vehicle. Very friendly! I'm in the Bay Area and found a semi-rare car in the LA area I wanted. Of course it looked great in the ad and the salesman told me it was "exellent. super clean" Hieu checked it out for me and pointed out a number of concerning details showing that even though the car decent good, it probably wasn't very well maintained (dirty oil and the like) and had a paint problem that might get very expensive for me in the future. Heiu's inspection was SUPER detailed and contained lots of pictures. Plus, his price was much more reasonable than other traveling inspectors I found. If you're trying to make up your mind, you can stop looking. Pro Car Checker is the one. read more

Hieu was outstandingly professional, reliable, and knowledgeable throughout the pre-inspection process. The car I was looking into was heavily modified, and I genuinely don't know how I would have been able to successfully manage the mechanical as well as smog related requirements necessary for such a vehicle to be integrated into CA. I'll never a purchase a used car without seeking out his guidance. Thank you Hieu! read more

If I could give Hieu 10 stars I would!! He seriously made my car buying experience so much better than it has ever been before. I have always felt used and scammed by dealerships, and often end up with a lemon because I don't know what I am looking for and they take advantage of me being a woman. Recently I needed another vehicle because my catalytic converter was stolen, and I was expecting a truly stressful experience because I had a new baby and limited availability to travel and check cars out. When I found Pro Car Checker online, I was so excited. The price was very affordable, and the service was seriously amazing! Hieu also went above and beyond for me. He helped me weed out cars that weren't worth looking at, and gave me tips for what to look for when checking a vehicle out myself. Without him I would have been lost, but instead I now have a beautiful car that I love so far. He is friendly, professional, great with communication, trustworthy, and super reliable. You won't find a better inspection service anywhere else. read more

I was looking at purchasing a vehicle in Southern California and since it's out of state for me it's not practical for me to fly out and inspect the car I was interested in. Hieu did a thorough job of inspecting the car and properly setting my expectations on what I would be getting into. He understood how meticulous I was and I felt that his report reflected what I was looking to confirm. Thanks for saving me time. read more

Guy is friendly, attentive and quick. I will use him in future! Update- Had him chrck out a Toyota Matrix today. Hieu was very thorough. Car was right, price was higher than I wanted so I moved on. I would use Hieu again. read more

Saved my butt on a vintage Land Cruiser I was considering buying sight unseen. My inspector found some hidden issues that added up would've cost half the value of the car to fix. No thanks. This is the 3rd remote inspection service I've used and so far it has been the best. The close up pictures are worth it alone.. sellers almost always avoids pics of the problem areas. Definitely going to call them again when the next unicorn comes along. read more

Hieu was the first to respond to my PPI query and I'm glad he did. I requested an inspection of a pre-owned Alfa and he responded quickly, with a clear outline of price and deliverable. I had a great experience with Pro Car Checker. We ended up not being able to coordinate a time for a PPI (due entirely to the seller's schedule) but Hieu was a class act throughout the entire process. Was purchasing from a smaller car lot. Gave us a clean car fax reporting no accidents. After inspecting they found leaks in transmission, paint touch ups, steering was off, and someone had reset the dummy lights. It was obviously in a crash. Save me thousands. read more

I'm in IL and was interested in a Mercedes c43 in Cathedral City, CA and needed an inspector to review it as i could not be there in person to review before deciding to purchase. Hieu arrived on time as promised and provided me with a thorough and comprehensive analysis of the car, paying particular attention to the bodywork per my request. Hieu provided a comprehensive report in a timely manner, as promised, that noted some slight scratches and dings documented with pictures of those areas and also included pictures of the entire car (i.e., interior, interior compartments, exterior, and undercarriage). The report also included a checklist of systems, exterior, interior and chasis. Hieu also determined that the rear bumper had been repainted and pointed out a slight gap at the rear bumper/quarter panel joints and some paint imperfections on the bumper. i still purchased the car and would not have noticed the gap in the bumper or repainting of the bumper had he not pointed it out as it was not obvious and takes a trained eye. i'm very satisfied with his services and would highly recommend him if you're looking for a car inspector. read more

Was nervous about buying a used car and a friend of mine recommended a pre-purchase inspection. After looking for a while I decided to go with Pro Car Checker. Hieu did a very thorough job and relieved a lot of anxiety I had with purchasing a used car. Awesome service and very reliable. I was in the processing of purchasing a car in socal and the other company that I hired bailed on doing the inspection. I called Pro Car Checkers to check out a used car I was thinking about buying. I talked to Hieu and he made time to go check out my car even though he was pretty booked up, but he had an inspection close to where my car was, and made it happen. We went to see a vehicle that was fairly clean inside and out with a list of maintenance records available. We drove it and it seemed promising, but after a thorough inspection by Hieu, he was able to find issues that were not disclosed by the seller which needed to be address sooner than later. Issues that would've cost me thousands in repair had I moved forward with the purchase without using Pro Car Checker first. Thank you! read more
