That was Roberto from Sponges today. I had hired Sponges because I'm selling two cars immediately. I needed both of them to look showroom-ready for online sale "beauty" photos. Roberto showed up this morning exactly when promised... on Memorial Day... and worked for seven straight hours. Near the end, one of the car batteries drained because the doors had been open for hours during detailing. The detailing itself was top shelf - more than five stars - but what really stayed with me was Roberto's attitude: always a big, reassuring smile on his face, coupled with hard work, professionalism and the kindness of a righteous human being. Getting off my soapbox just to add that booking and paying for the service was easy and took a handful of minutes. Thank you, Richard!

The price however should be adjusted accordingly depending if the vehicle is too dirty or not. In my case the car is kept in the garage 90% of the time and has a full cover on it all the time and it never gets dirty so $95 for a clean car that essentially just needed a quick wash seems a bit overpriced. But I definitely recommend them as you won't regret the results! I would do business in the future!

They just let you drive your car through the car wash machine and off we go. But in this car wash, they actually apply the soap by hand, wash it off, and hand dry it. They also vacuum the interior. I am super happy to get my car so clean! All for $60 for a small sedan. Other places I checked charged double that price. They are located in the same lot as a Valero gas station on Koenig. There is not an air-conditioned waiting place. But they have some shady chairs under some big trees. In a hot August day, it is not so bad. Yes, the name has changed, but it's a name we all know. It's a few things that were added, like the big umbrellas to keep the staff cool from the Austin heat. Now the old place had umbrellas, too. Not as big, but there were umbrellas. The sitting area outside is really nice; it's more of a bar-style seating area with the whole area being shaded. The inside lobby is the same. Now I could have taken more pictures, but it was so crowded, and I didnt want people to think I was crazy snapping away. But the most important thing is that the prices remained the same. Also, the prices are even better if you sign up for a membership.
