    Everything went perfectly , walked in , Erica had a chair available, told her what I wanted , she threw the cape on and went to work. Easy going no drama and perfect lines and service . Will be back . Only draw back is parking can be a hassle .

    They do a great job on my sons hair and that is saying a lot because my son is 1yr and a half and fights like hell every hair cut! So far my son has had Rafa and Kookie work on him and he was screaming throwing his head back like the exorcist . Both barbers did a great job and the whole barbershop was patient and understanding. My husband also cuts his hair with Kookie. God bless y'all.

    First timer for my son at this barber shop. Shop was clean and the 2 barbers working were very polite and welcoming! I felt a little awkward because it is a "guys salon" and I think I kept them from the man talk that usually happens at barber shops. Lol. Sorry guys. I was offered coffee, water or a protein shake while I waited! Coffee is always a plus! My son initially wanted a fade with "racing stripes" but unfortunately the barber did not know how to do that style yet. I appreciate the honesty -- I'd rather someone be upfront then to screw up my son's hair. He ended up with a fade, comb over with a hard part. My son looked so handsome! Lined him up with straight razor -- actually it freaked my son out a little but he was comforted by the barbers. Lol. All in all, the experience went well. My son is picky with his cut but he left very happy! Well done, Daniel! We will be back! Maybe next time with his Dad, so the man talk can continue.

    Look at this bs. Second time customer with zero history of being late or not showing up. That's lunch money for both of my kids for a week.

    I just got my sons haircut yesterday evening by Daniel A. and from the beginning to end, it was easy to schedule and I was VERY happy with the results. For some reason, I've always had bad luck with flaky barbers here in the 831, but I'm pretty sure we've found our new place! Thank you Daniel for the great haircut, you have my son acting brand new lol see you guys soon! (This review was about a month ago). Five stars to Daniel! Now, this is my SECOND review for my second time going and this time I've had the unfortunate poor service provided by the owner, Juan. I've scheduled this appointment online for 7:30 this evening. The only time available for the rest of the year & after I get off work. I work full time and both of my children go to school/ after school program, by this time, we are tired and want to get in and get out. Due to the difficulty of getting into this place during the evenings, especially with the same barber, I am truly disappointed to be treated like my business there ain't shit. The sign on the door says it's closed at 6pm so I was worried when I showed up before 7. I waited until 7:25, called twice w/ no answer, left one voice mail and one email showing proof I was there before my appointment time, in respects to the strict cancellation policy. I've decided to leave at 7:25 bc by the looks of a closed, locked door, turned off barber sign and not picking up My Phone calls. Now on the road back to Marina it starts pouring rain and I get a text from Juan stating he was in the bathroom and was in the shop, at 7:40. Ten minutes after my scheduled appointment time. (I see in the policy the shop can wait up to ten minutes for a late customer w/ a phone call, but where does it say a customer has to wait for the barber to even announce he's inside of a shop that's obviously closed?) I reply with the obvious, all that I've stated above, to his DIRECT PHONE LINE with DIRECT communication and STILL get charged a late fee and recorded as a "no show". I am an office manager at a very seasoned construction business here on the peninsula, I am always accountable for my actions. Let it be know, as a single mom with a son, I've always gotten the short end of the stick with barbers here. I go out of my way to support local businesses ESPECIALLY businesses owned by my fellow Latinos, but to work an 8 hour shift, grocery shop, pick up my kids, drop one off to the baby sitters to take my son out to Salinas at 7:30 in the evening to an obviously closed shop, have direct open and honest communication with the actual owner, wanting to reschedule and have him STILL charge me the service fee????!!!! Blew my mind and disappointed the hell out of me. Like I've said to Juan and what I'm going to state here; As a man, you did NOT EARN THAT MONEY. Since this shop opened and my brother in law went there, I've referred so many guys there, two of them left a review. You're a janky business owner who treated an honest person like they wanted to get one over on you. I know you have that strict cancellation policy for a very good reason/ reasons, but I just got charged $25 bc you were in the bathroom past my appointment time with zero indication the shop was even open. Never doing business with Juan and any shop affiliated with him. Please see attached photo w/ late fee charged. I was at the business for almost 40 minutes from 6:50pm-7:25. Smh. Zero 12/7/18: Juan, in response to your defensive response, here's some advice; do better as a business owner. You only have a positive reputation for your hair cutting skills, not your customer service/ communicative/ business owner skills. As accountable as you say you are, WE ALL KNOW class in seaside at 7 and an appointment at 7:30 in Salinas doesn't equal to being on time. Thank you for proving my point of you being late Please feel free to post all screen shots of whatever, bc at the end of the day I'm speaking FACTS of my EXPERIENCE with my appointment with you. And please, spare me with the "adult responsibility" verbiage, NO ONE was there in the shop when I left at 7:25. If you're running late, communicate. It goes a long way. You texted me ten minutes after my appointment letting me know you were there, bc that's probably when you actually arrived at the shop from Seaside to keep it 100. I should of charged you $25 for wasting MY time. And good for you for refunding my money you should of never charged me to begin with. That's what we like to call, "doing the right thing." Step up your customer service skills like you do your hair cutting skills and maybe you'll be a more well rounded individual.
