I have a properly abused 2018 4runner. Tons of camping and off roading with the expected pin striping and dog drool paint damage. Daniel and his team did an exceptional job removing most of the damage without going through the relatively thin clearcoat I have left on certain areas. The ceramic pro 7 year coating looks great. I even had a small section in front of my roof rack where the clear coat was completely gone, and they were kind enough to slap on a small section of PPF that should allow me to go many more years before needing to have the roof repainted. Had Private Collection Auto Care re-do my 8 year old PPF on my 2016 GT4. After many years of occasional track time and road trip miles on my GT4, my old PPF have sustained some surface rock chips and a little bit of yellowing which is a little easier to see on my white car. I went with re-doing my PPF with Ceramic Pro Urban PPF offered by Private Collection Auto Care as an elite Ceramic Pro installer. They were able to carefully remove my old PPF without any issues. They were able to install the new PPF with better coverage on the edges compared to my old PPF. If rock chips and imperfections bother you, PPF is definitely the way to go! After 7 years and now with brand new Ceramic Pro PPF, the car paint looks flawless! I took delivery of a new car ~400 miles from where I live so I didn't leave myself much time or patience to check out the paint condition which was swirled up like it was going out of fashion. I ended up connecting with Daniel based on the Yelp reviews here (thx, community). There were a few detail "stage" options he offered. He actually ended up charging me the lowest priced package to get my car in tip-top shape. In all honesty, if he told me I needed the next level up, I would've trusted his expertise and went for it. It goes to show that this shop has integrity. Other great signs that they're worth your return biz is he graciously fixed up some shoddy paint protection film work... done by another vendor. I was very impressed not only by Daniel's expertise but also his understanding of what happens when you leave his shop, I bought a beautiful car with brilliant black paint from a dealer that sold me a ceramic coating but did not use a quality product. The dealership did not clay the paint before applying the cheap ceramic product. Daniel and his team showed me how the job should have been done and gave me options for how I could protect the paint on my car. When i picked up my car - it was like looking into a mirror - how the brilliant black paint should have looked from the dealership. What i was most impressed with about Daniel and his business was what happened after i left his shop. Within a week my bumper was hit bad in a parking spot and the paint was scratched - i didn't know what to do but retuned to Daniel for options - he helped me hide and cover up the scratches as best as possible while not removing the ceramic coating, i am giving Private Collection Auto Care my highest referral and I will return yearly for annual after care. This review is long overdue. I'd like to take a minute and shout out this place and the fine work they do. A little about my experience - I purchased a Tesla Model 3 and I was very worried about the soft paint. Tesla's have, unfortunately, a bad reputation for getting front damage quickly. That and the paint is not always 100% out of the factory. That's when my search began. I looked all over Glendale, Burbank, Santa Monica, Pasadena... you name it and I looked. I needed to find a place where I could feel safe leaving my car for 3 or 4 days and would not have to worry. I was also looking for a place where the work quality was going to match the price your paying. This was it. The moment I walked in I knew I was in the right place. Daniel welcomed me and gave me all the information I needed to decide. Looking at the shop, it was clean, and all the vehicles covered. Under the tires a small piece of fabric separated your car with the floor. Not to mention beautiful high-end cars waiting to be protected. If Ferrari and Lamborghini owners keep coming back it means something to a car lover. Instantly I said yes. I ended up getting my front end and trunk protected by film and my whole car ceramic coated. The best decision I've made on a new car. Not only is protected from road rash its water repellent properties are out of this world. I can say I've never been able to fully wash a car in 30 minutes and have a full detail look. Very easy to wash (nothing sticks) very easy to dry (water literally falls off) and don't get me started with the shine! People have literally lined up to take pictures on my multi-coat red. I cannot recommend them enough. As a matter of fact - after seeing the work performed on my car two of my coworkers have now experienced the same quality of care on their vehicles. If you are looking for a place that will take care of your car as if it belonged to them... this is it.
