Pristine Pets is an incredible dog grooming salon that has a committed owner along with a dedicated team to ensure your puppy is taking care of. Prices are customized based on what type of service you need. Overall, I found their price point to be very competitive and reasonable. In other words, you get incredible value. EXAMPLES IN PRICE: My border collie, Yuna is full grown and I pay $50 which includes a full bath, blow dry, brush, full groom (which also includes: nail trim, paws detail, hygiene trim) AND complimentary doggy day care for the day. I can't think of another salon that offers this type of service for such an awesome price. Trust me, I shopped around. No such place exists! If there are.. please let me know so I can try them out! (Debbie, if you change your prices, please let Yuna get grandfathered in!) I've been coming here for over a year and I'm thoroughly impressed with the spa owners attention to detail, ability to put their customers first and their level of patience with EACH visit. Yuna came here since she was very very small. Like all puppies who have never had a grooming experience, she was very nervous and had a minor accident at the spa. The staff was incredibly understanding and took good care of her after it happened. PUPPIES HAVE GOOD INSTINCTS. TRUST THEM. They say dog people trust their dogs when they don't like another human. I believe them. With that in mind, even after her accident, Yuna still loves seeing the staff at Pristine Pets and the other dogs when she's waiting her turn despite her rough first time. Therefore, I know that my judgemental dog was treated well and pampered well at this spa. Overall, I highly recommend calling ahead to reserve an appointment, although they are always open to walk-ins. Sometimes their hours shift so calling ahead is your best bet. Absolutely not. My sister just got done at the vet with her 6 month old very sweet puppy who she's been taking to this hack job of a groomer. Puppy came home with broken blood vessels in both eyes, after further examination, the vet determined this to be caused by an extended period of STRANGULATION from a slip lead, likely she was left unattended on a table and fell off, and not helped immediately. She very easily could have died. None of this was disclosed at pick up. This puppy that's not had an accident since she was 11 weeks old, and has absolutely loved going to the vets, peed, cried and cowered on the table in the exam room. Took my puppy there twice. Haircut was bad each time. Did not do the cut i wanted on my puppy. Shaved him once with uneven haircuts . Made me pay and tip without even seeing him first. In fact upon exiting they looked over the dogs and saw that their ears were not exactly the same length and immediately called us back inside and made them perfect. please do not take your pet for grooming at this place. i took both my puppies on saturday june 10th 2023, and one of them was hurt while being groomed. i should have known it was something when i picked them up, because the groomer named virginia was acting guilty, and her body language was really off. she was asking questions such as " did you have a leash for your dogs, because i cant remember who the leash hanging up belonged to? are you ready for them ? did you need help taking the dogs to your car? did you want a scarf to go around their neck?" i also heard a lady in the back yelling at one of the dogs saying " wait" very mean and aggressive. im not sure if it was one of my dogs or someone elses she was yelling at because i could not see in the back. i just wanted to mention this as well. now to remind you i have been to this place before and was never asked none of the above questions. she was acting very suspicious, and when i finally got a chance, after leaving the groomer i could see how horrible my dogs hair cut was. i looked under my yorkipoo ear and she had a bad scar in her ear which is now a scab. she was cut down too far under her ear and on her buttocks please see the photos i called the groomer and asked what happened??? she tried to blame me by stating that when i bath my dog the hair matted, and if its a scab just let it fall off. they are wicked and abusive to our fur babies i never received an apology and she failed to tell me initially what really happened to my fur baby im very upset about this and the discomfort my dog is in please!!! please!!! please!!! protect your fur baby from this place, and it has a bad odor when entering. place is never kept clean. don't walk....run this place gets zero stars from me, i only put one because it would not allow me yo post without a star rating read more

Not really a review of services rendered because they didn't even pass the first phone call. I Kinda of agree with the other bad review. I called and the woman who answered the phone sounded like it was an inconvenience to speak to me. Maybe its just the way she speaks but if that is the case she should hire someone with more customer service experience to answer the phones. Turns out she was the groomer as well. Probably the owner too if I had to guess. First impressions are super important in any business, but if I am going to trust someone to groom my pups they need to come across more friendly that what I experienced. If you are the owner and plan to respond to this like you did the other negative review, don't bother. I made sure this was the correct "shop". Very disappointed. They failed to mention that my dog was nicked by the clippers. When I called back they had no idea what I was talking about. Although she did mention he let out a piercing sound at some point. The cut took almost a week to heal and my dog has been very agitated. Also, I was not impressed by the cleanliness of the place. I took my Wheaton Terrier to the previous owner for nail trims and she was good but very hard to plan a visit because she wasn't consistently in - hours and days varied I am very happy with Virginia who keeps consistent hours and is very friendly and easy to deal with and does an extra thorough job on nail trims. When I dropped off my dog the lady was very rude and snippy towards me. My dog was crying and jumping on me like any dog would, and she was yanking on him basically choking him. i walked outside so he would calm down and from the window i saw her pulling him around crazily. When I picked up my dog he was unbelievably sad and not himself. When I went to pet his ears he got aggressive with me and would whimper in pain. I just brought my Siberian Husky (Sugar) home from Pristine Pets. I am so happy with the wonderful job Virginia did on Her. She looks and smells wonderful. This was our first visit there. Virginia was very nice over the phone and in person. Her shop was very clean and inviting, and the price was very affordable. She met all the special needs of Sugar who has skin allergies. When Sugar and I got home she was her usual bubbly playful self. I couldn't be more happier. I will definitely use Pristine Pets as my regular groomer. Thank you so much Virginia. read more

The new owner Virginia does a fantastic job on both my Golden Doodle and Poodle Bichon. She gets them in and out of there in a timely manner and major bonus is she is very reasonable and consistent in her prices. I highly recommend her! read more

This is such a wonderful place to take your animal to be groomed. My dog is super furry (double coated) and he always comes back looking remarkable. Even better than that, he loves going there. Decided to try out this place for our Golden Retriever since we saw the high ratings. Over the phone they were very nice when booking the appointment. I told them we wanted wash and dry, furminating, hair cut/trim, and nail trim and they told us we could discuss it more when we got there. My husband and I went to drop him off and they were incredibly busy. They seemed in a rush, but again everyone was very nice. At first the front desk lady said "wash and nail trim" when we checked in. But we corrected her saying that he should also be getting a hair cut/trim and she said "absolutely". And on the check-in worksheet they had us fill out all the services we needed as well. They told us they were very busy so it would take several hours. But since he is a big dog, we didn't think anything of it as it made sense it would take a bit longer for him. We dropped him off at 10am. At 3:45pm... still no call. I called to double check I didn't miss a call and they said they were just finishing him up and they would call within the next hour when he was finished. They called at about 4:15pm. We picked him up and I got him into the car when we noticed he looked washed and dried, but he didn't look as though he received ANY type of hair trim. We went back in to ask, and they confirmed our concern that he did not get a haircut because we were listed as a wash and nail trim and there must have been "some loss of communication", even though on our form we specifically listed everything that needed to be done and had confirmed it with the front desk before we left. So.... he was at the place for 6+ HOURS and only received a wash, dry, and nail trim. They apologized and we requested him to be finished for what we brought him there for. They did agree, but did not seem to know what a golden retriever haircut entailed? We saw mostly small and poodle type dogs there, so maybe they don't know how to trim large Golden/German Shepherd/Husky-type long hair? Plus, he was anxious and whimpering the entire time, which he normally doesn't do, likely because he had just been there for so long and was antsy. By the end, his leg and tail fringe looked choppy and he still had wispies everywhere. They did ask us if it looked ok to us and if we wanted any more taken off, but our pup was just so anxious by that point we just wanted to get out of there. What saves them from getting a 1 star is they were very polite the entire time and offered to make it right. But they admitted they greatly overbooked the day, and we were so furious for the amount of inorganization and the fact he was there for 6+ hours and they only performed just a basic wash/dry/nail trim. The longest we've ever had him somewhere was 2.5 hours for the full wash/dry/cut/nail trim. That's just so unbelievably unacceptable. To top it all off, the whole next day our dog had bowel issues and persistent diarrhea. So not sure how many treats and what type they fed him in the time he was there? Overall, if you have a small dog, maybe you're experience will be different. But this is just our experience. Won't be going back. read more
