This is the second car I purchased from this dealer. In March, I purchased a 22' Outlander SEL for my company car. This week I went back and purchased another 22 Outlander SEL for my wife! Travis, our salesman, went above and beyond answering my questions and finding the perfect trim and color for our new car. I was pleasantly surprised at how courteous and professional Ryan was when it came down to locking in a good price and a monthly payment I was comfortable with. The most incompetent place of business I have ever encountered. I purchased a car and they had the nerve to call me the day I was supposed to pick it up and inform me that they accidentally sold it to somebody else. They pulled my credit, I left a down payment I was told the day before that my plates were ready to go. To make matters worse when I asked for my refund they advised me that I had to call the general manager to request one...... DECEIVING bait and switch dealer. FALSE ADVERTISING on all car related search websites by $6-8,000. Waste of time, low balls and offers lowest trade in prices, even when you have had the car appraised by other dealers and KNOW what it's worth. Go somewhere that will treat you like a person. This dealer happened to have the car we were looking for in the color. They strung us alone after the test drive for a full 45 minutes at a desk afterward. Not only did they bring back an offensive offer for our trade-in but they wrote the price down on paper that was thousands of dollars higher than what was advertised. When we got visibly upset they told us to "read the fine print". Most dealers KNOW that people are shopping online first and do not do this to you anymore. This dealer is disgusting. We sat there, probably the dirtiest physical dealer room we have been in, had to smell fried food eaten at the desk of the salesman behind us and then get spoken to disrespectfully as they held our car key in the "managers office". It took over ten minutes after being very upset to get our key back to leave. Save yourself the time and aggravation and scroll paste any car with Pristine Mitsubishi written under it. read more

My wife brought her Mitsubishi Highlander PHEV in for routine oil change, upon leaving Keith the service manager informed her that her back rear tire had a bubble in it, and it was nothing serious she could change it next time in. REALLY !!! The service manager let a customer leave the premises with a tire that had a golfball size bubble on the outside wall that could have blown out at anytime, My wife called back to speak to Keith and was promised a call back, when that never came she called and spoke to a manager who told her well if you get a flat locally no big deal, but if your on the highway somewhere thats not so great !!! ARE KIDDING ME.. he promised a call back from Keith at 8 am today, at 8:19 since no call came I called and was promised a call back. Waited till 9 am no call, called asked for the manager of the who was too busy to come to the phone. I explained to the person who answered the phone that you might want to let him know that I was giving him an opportunity to explain, prior to posting a review on line, he was still too busy, as i was writing this review Keith called back and said he understands it was not acceptable and that they would replace the tire for free, he asked me what tire as he doesn't stock them, I told him that's great but I had the tire replaced yesterday at a cost of over 200.00 ,as it was a safety issue and I was not comfortable having my wife drive that car especially due to the fact that the Highlander doesn't have a spare, so instead of offering to give any credit in service going forward he basically was like ok bye.. given the fact Wantagh Mitsubishi is the same distance from our house as Pristine, it's doubtful I would return here as this was really handled poorly by everyone involved. read more

6/17/23 I recently went to Pristine to purchase an Outlander. The deal we made included them buying out my lease. After confirming the buy out number , we proceeded to finalize the deal. Shook hands, left a $500 deposit, which they insisted on , and off I went to get a certified check. My insurance and plates were transferred and upon my return to pickup my brand new shiny Outlander, I was told , " it was going to cost another $500." When I questioned this I was first accused of falsifying the buyout price on my lease. ( btw, they called GM, handed me the phone,and I repeated the buyout price. They said they didn't hear GM's side of conversation) I then insisted they recall GM and put it on speakerphone, which they did, and low and behold the number I quoted was the same. At this point, I was then told that it was going to cost them $500 to process my car. Needless to say, I canceled the deal and yes they returned my deposit. Happy to say, on Monday 6/19/23 I got my new , shiny Outlander at 112 Mitsubishi in Medford for the exact price I had originally agreed to and couldn't have been happier with my experience at 112. The staff at 112 Mitsubishi couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, a complete opposite of my experience at Pristine. I advise to call them to enquire about the actual price before you consider buying from them. Actually, many dealerships do the same. But overall experience was very good. 2 stars for Mike being a gentleman. Other than that unfortunately I cannot support this business. Called prior to driving out to Commack Long Island to confirm vehicle availability and that the price listed on their website was the true price.... no "internet" price which assumes your putting money down. Taylor who took my call assured me the price was as stated and they don't play those games. Leave work, go to the dealership with my pre-approval in place and clean title for my trade in... drive the car... ensure no major mechanical issues and then comes the "sit down." Long story short their listed prices don't include an assumed "$3000 down payment" obviously the listing didn't stipulate this and the normal car dealer "let me see what I can do with my finance manager" scheme ensued. Luckily for me I have the credit to get any car I want and I don't need to play these games at 37 years old anymore.... So interested buyer's beware.... $3000 higher than the site Like I said, Mike was a gentleman and I wish him nothing but success on his coming promotion to manager. Sergio, Ron, ryan, and Marco were all extremely helpful when they were trying to sell me one of their certified pre owned cars. They answered all my questions (as they should they wanna make $), and I bought my car and drove it home same day. The service workers are like any others, in a hurry to get everything done but they seem to have done very a good job from a superficial viewpoint. While detailing my car for free once I paid, they forgot the original floor Matt's (the OG carpet not the rubber on top). They were very nice expressing they will send them in the mail or give me a refund for the inconvenience. LADIES: Always go with a man or "act like one" if you are a female because they have zero female sales reps and are trying to make money (like every single person) but they try their best. Only female is the 20yo who answers the phone and I think there is one in the very back who just does computer stuff (doesn't talk to customers). Will update this post if there are any problems I run into or if they fail to send the floor mats/refund I will report to the BBB. Poor job vacuuming if there was any at all. When I called to ask about the floor mats he told me to check the trunk, There is no spare tire or jack or anything to take the lugs off the wheel. I needed a car and worried that I didn't have adequate down payment or good enough credit to get back on the road. The next day I went in and met Andrew P. who showed me the car and within minutes had me in the drivers seat. His straight forward attitude was refreshing and he was able to get me a better deal than my pre-approval that I had walked in with. Instead of a salesman who want to take all your money he was figuring ways we can save and this included the insurance. Looking back he never asked me for anything more than I said I was able to put down unlike previous purchases from other dealers. He made buying a car in a very stressful time with depleted funds into a win. My payments are affordable and the car I purchased was better than advertised. Afterward I received a follow up text from my new Friend Andrew P. Asking how me and the family liked my new 2019 Ford Mustang (19,000)miles and again thanked me for my business. The guys at Pristine hooked it up big time from my man Andrew P. who helped me get approved to the financing guru Ali (thank you) who worked to get me an even lower monthly payment , all the way to the great detail shine that was done to make the car look immaculate. When I left them a negative survey with the manufacturer, the dealer canceled all my free services for oil change which they granted during purchase, and refused to answer my call when I contacted them directly from my phone number. Additionally, during the purchase I bought an additional option which was not included on the car. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER you may become a victim of #SCAM and face discrimination, just because your skin color is different. read more

I found a vehicle online through auto trader and also looked at the vehicle on the dealers website and the pricing was the same. We called the dealership to confirm availability and pricing and made an appointment for later that day. We drove 3 hours to the dealership only to discover that the vehicle was not in the "pristine" condition displayed in pictures and when we sat to discuss numbers they raised the price by $3,000. The salesperson stated we needed to place a $500 deposit on the vehicle as per NYS law while numbers were being discussed and that the deposit was 100% fully refundable. They failed to provide receipt of the cash deposit and even after we informed them we were not going to purchase the vehicle and requested a refund of the deposit and an emailEd receipt multiple times and being assured by several people that I would receive a receipt and a picture confirming of the refund check was signed, even after involvement with the BBB and being promised a receipt and confirmation of a check nothing has been resolve. sales person lied about car being available for sale listed on website. We called to make appointment to see the car 4 days in advance and called 2 days before heading over and again the morning of to verified it was still there for sale before driving 1 hour into long island to visit the dealership. We got there in the afternoon and was told they (conveniently) took a deposit from someone else that same morning and tried to offer a similar car for the same price but with reported damage in the car fax as if it was the same deal. Then worst part is (1) they claimed the car w/ damage reported had better specs hence already discounted compared to original car we wanted to see but was a lie because when we asked for the MSRP it was virtually the same and then (2) they said the car with reported damage would require to be sold certified which would cost an additional $5k more (wtf) ... Classic BAIT and SWITCH tactics where you go for a car that doesn't exist so that they can up sale and convince you into buying an inferior car for similar price or an even more expensive car. Visit at your own risk, but this is a very dishonest business. If deal looks too good to be true don't even bother with these scammers! read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I had contacted them on 4/8/2023 regarding a CLA50 that was advertised for $10,999. I was told to give them a call the day I was planning on coming down from Connecticut in order for them to get the car ready. So on 4/11/2023 I called and spoke with Breanna and was told that the car was now $12,999. Went up $2,000 in 3 days. Putting that aside I told her I was gonna be there in 3 hours, she said the car would be ready for me when I got there. I get there and the salesman Tony informs me that I could look at the car but it is not drive able, since it needs new tires and a few other things. I go check the car out and the tires are brand new, so obviously there is bigger issues then the tires. They tell me that they will call me when the car is ready. So now I have another 3 hour drive back to Connecticut for nothing. I called to speak to a manager and they passed the phone around. Buyers be aware that this place is shady and unprofessional. I made an appointment with Ron M.; waited for about 15 minutes and spent about a half-hour discussing prospects. I was running late for another appointment so I politely asked him if he'd be kind enough to put together some (finance) numbers and email them to me. Never happened, and that after many e-mails requesting such nor return mails. I called and was told that he wasn't in so I emailed again. Finally he wrote to me saying that he had a "family emergency" and would get the numbers to me the following day : never happened, so I wrote again . NO RESPONSE !! NOTHING !!
