After I brought the issue to their attention, I was told there had been a "glitch in the system" and was apologized to. Unfortunately, despite that acknowledgment, I still never received payment and all communication eventually stopped. Multiple attempts to follow up were ignored. The amount owed was only about $50, but that isn't the point. If someone completes work, they deserve to be paid. What concerns me most is the lack of accountability and professionalism after the issue was identified. I have documentation showing the job was assigned, completed, and reported, along with the company's acknowledgment of the payment issue. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend working for this company.

I discovered this morning that I lost my wallet, probably around the courthouse last night. It had a significant amount of money, a few credit cards, my license and some very important photos and documents. I spent most of the morning being really upset with myself, cancelling my cards, and tallying the hours and money it would cost to replace everything. I got a call from Garden City Janitorial this morning saying they found my wallet. I was ecstatic. I was able to pick it up immediately. Not a single thing was missing. I offered/insisted on giving them a reward and they refused. I am sitting in a parking lot crying because kindness is a beautiful thing. Thank you all so much. I don't think you fully realize how amazing this all was and how grateful I am to you.

I went from, saying, "I'm too overwhelmed, I can't do anything about my messes," to "How and where do I start?" She instills confidence in my being able to conquer my mess by teaching me skills that work for me, and working one step at a time. She is able to reduce my anxiety by slowing down my overwhelmed mind. She helps me by teaching me to reduce a big project into baby steps, which are doable. We start with a goal sheet and fill it out together, which helps me to envision what things will be like and look like, when I do the writing. I have ADHD, and struggle periodically with depression and anxiety. Karin also has a great sense of humor, which helps me to cope. I am grateful to Karin, and her growing knowledge of how to help people, with all of the classes she takes to be certified.
