Dana, the artist, schedules the appointment in their online system which I then received an email with the link to the appointment in case I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment. I did end up rescheduling due to the fact I wasn't sure if I could make my original appointment, but I was able to reschedule back as I could confirm for sure I would make that appointment time. I showed up early to my appointment and asked about upgrading from the classic lashes to the volume size, to which Dana, told me I was not booked for that type of appointment, a full appointment. I told her I had booked over the phone and it was for the full set with a refill in two weeks. She said that I booked it online and and she could not help me. I said I had called and booked it with her and used the online system to adjust my appointment but I never changed anything she had entered. There was no apology, just rescheduling me to the next day. Which I was ok with as mistakes happen and I typically am a very understanding person. She asked me to take a 2:30 appointment with the fact that one person who has an appointment at 1, if that person canceled I would come in earlier and I said sure. I left and went on with my day, happy to get my eyelashes done as it's the one thing that makes me feel beautiful. Sunday morning, the morning before my appointment in the afternoon, I get a text from Dana saying can we reschedule for a day later this week, as she "doesn't like working on sundays, she likes to run errands during that time". !?!!!??? Excuse me what?? I explain I have bent over backwards as a new client and that I was really looking forward to the appointment, that I'm sorry she didn't feel like working but then again she's the one who made the appointment for me. It was painful because Jenn was using wax. She didn't bother to check on her appointments or confirm with me what I wanted. Maybe if she had put her phone down before we got started, I wouldn't have had such a horrendous experience. We finished out the waxing and just a few days later, I had hair because it all was broken off. I've never had my lashes tinted or lifted before this, but they are basically crimped upward, not curled. I have nothing to compare to, but I'm guessing she just did a poor job.
