AGAIN not legal in Maryland. I requested to speak to the store manager and got Bob... BOB is the part owner. 3. Bob the part owner yelled and verbally harassed me on the phone and suggested cancelling the contract because I would not pay in full... Finally after about Ten minutes he sort of apologized for being wrong and well he knew he had tried this with the wrong person. But I had to threaten with legal action. And If you read the cancellation policy. Lets just say you will be very lucky to get your deposit back, hence the large down payment and efforts to frustrate and force a cancellation... 4. Finally he scheduled the job and 2 individuals came out to my home in an unmarked white van and they couldn't speak English... I was given a number to someone that would translate and he barley spoke English... 5.OVERPRICED !!! I cant imagine an older person or older lady having to have that conversation I had with BOB. She would have been completely intimidated by BOBS actions... not to mention the security issue with two men that don't speak any English alone in her home. just sayin DO YOURSELF A FAVOR GO ELSE WHERE WE HAVE PLENT OF FLOORING COMPANIES IN THE AREA THAT WILL DO GOOD HONEST AND SAFE WORK THAT SPEAK ENGLISH GOD BLESS AND GOOD LUCK.

K G Tile is one of those local family-owned businesses that is an increasingly rare breed these days. They have a great showroom selection, good prices, and much higher quality than you'll find at that big box store whose name starts with an L and rhymes with "toes." Everyone here is so friendly and knowledgeable, and they treat you with the same courtesy no matter how big or small your tile job is. If you need your tile right away, they have an excellent variety of in-stock tile (and about every other month, it's on sale for 25% off). AND if you're on a tight budget (and these days, who isn't) -- in the back of the store, there is a special rack for clearance tile that is on sale for $1 a square foot. And by clearance, I don't mean ugly tile that looked like it was stored in your grandma's basement. I mean high-quality ceramic and porcelain tile that is leftover from a nearly sold-out shipment or recently discontinued (but still awesome). I will never shop anywhere else for tile ever again!

But everything went great with Floors Etc. I got an estimate, met them at their showroom, picked my flooring and took a sample home, set up a date for install, and they showed up on time! They got the work done in a timely manner and it looks great. They were out of stock of the stair floor nosings, but got them and installed then a couple days later so no big deal. They had a decent selection of contemporary styles with a range of piles with competitive prices. Vlad gave candid feedback when the quality might not be a good fit with heavy use. We ended up with a traditional style in unusual colors, and were able to purchase an excellent felt pad custom-cut to fit the area rug. Oh, and bonus-they are amazing at getting rolled rug and rolled pad into my car (not an SUV). We are very happy with this business. It's not much to look at from the curb, but it's worth it!
