The Priory Restaurant was recommended to us by multiple locals, and it was a great recommendation. It was also one of the only restaurants available for dinner when we were visiting Cardigan. We selected the Roast Beef Dinner and my wife had the Steak & Ale pie. Not only were our dinners excellent, they were massive as well. Both our plates were full to the edges, with our entrees, mashed potatoes, thick, rich gravy, and various vegetables. Mine also came with Yorkshire pudding which I loved. My mom used to make it when I was a kid, and it tasted great. My wife enjoyed her dinner as well and the employee (we only saw one, and we were the only customers when we were there) was very nice. The restaurant (at least what we saw) was small but cute, and the prices were very reasonable. If we'd had more time in Cardigan, we'd definitely visit again, because there were many enticing dishes I would have loved to try. read more
