The dentist Andrew Lee is very commercial. On the day he didnt do anything and didnt give me my money back. 2nd time - i had my fillings done abroad. Went for a check up to Andrew Lee and he changed my new fillings straight-away without telling me what he was going to do. 3rd time - i had an appointment for a certain day, but it was snowing. Nobody called me to say that the clinic would be closed, so i dont have to go there and change my plans and nobody called me after that to have a new appointment arranged.

I have used this place for over 10years now and have became very well acquainted with the dentist…read moreDr Aggarwal here. He's very good at what he does, he runs a good practice which is pain free and very clean. If I ever have any problems they accommodate me as best as they can. The staff are kind, helpful and very friendly. The waiting area is comfortable and recently been refurnished. There is free parking right outside the practice but spaces are limited. It has easy access from the number 24 and 10 bus route.

A small dentist which offers a good service without any problems…read more Havent been there for a while but the time which i was there i was pleased with the service i recieved. Wouldnt say its the best dentist out there as would say that there are definatley better ones that you can use rather than this one. Good service and i nice friendly local dentist but facilities arent that great. Overall pretty average.
I know, I can't give 5 stars to a dentist because of the nature of the business but 4 stars is…read morepretty high. The reason, because this place actually helps you to prevent having treatment. They are full of advice; in fact I realised that the reason I've had fillings in recent years, when I really don't eat an awful lot of sweets (except for cinema treats) is because I'm not brushing correctly. It turns out, just brushing thoroughly for 2 whole minutes twice daily and flossing does the trick. It's the first check I remember when I had not treatment, not even a little tiny filling. Mr Rooprai, who I see always remembers conversations (a bit like a hairdresser) does and we talk about me travels during the 2 minutes I have before he starts checking my teeth. He's also full of humour and they always have the radio on which relaxes me just a bit. Highly recommended if you can get in as a NHS patient.
Very decent dentist at the bottom of War Lane in Harborne which is one of the few places in these…read moreparts who still takes on NHS patients (Cottam & Cottam which I've also reviewed is another one). It's a nicely decorated and rather soothing place and the staff seem friendly. I've popped in a few times with my Mom - she needed a bit of moral support following an unfortunate incident with a boiled sweet (she had to have root canal treatment...which is as horrible as it sounds) but really, I wasn't needed as the procedure was pretty straight forward and the Dentist who treated her just the right mix of professional and soothing. There's also a good selection of reading material - Hello, Okay and other glossies that I only ever read in waiting rooms and are a bit of a guilty pleasure!

I've been with this dentist - which takes NHS as well as private clients - since forever. I've had…read moreevil looking wisdom teeth removed here, sat through root canal treatment that was all sadly reminiscent of the torture scene in Marathan Man (not their fault at all by the way - they were lovely - it's just not very nice) and had my teeth scaled and polished to a nice pearly white. The staff - receptionists and dentists alike are all very nice, calm and professional and they have put up with me being consistently rubbish about turning up on time - usually thanks to the number 11 being its usual unreliable self. As well as offering standard treatments they have a hygienist and a range of cosmetic services available. When I had my wisdom teeth out the procedure was so noninvasive that I was able to go back to work after (although given how spaced out I was on local anaesthetic and the fact my then partner made me run for the bus I'm not sure this was such a brilliant idea) And another thing - not only do they sells a range of toothbrushes, floss, pokey stick things (for cleaning between the gaps - they look a bit like pipe cleaners) they have a really good range of magazines available too - no two year old copies of Take a Break here.
I came here to pick up my Aunt's new set of dentures. When she was a child she was given a diet of…read moresugar to placate her naughtiness and she was never made to brush her teeth. When I went in they didn't have the dentures ready and the pricing had changed. I had to wait for a while and came back a few hours later to pick them up. The service was friendlier and my Aunt was happy with her new set of false teeth. I'd recommend brushing your teeth three times a day. Once in the morning, after you main meal and at bedtime. That way you can avoid having dentures like my Aunt.
Can't praise this practice enough. The level of skill from Dr Namih and friendly approach of all…read morethe dental practice staff exceeds anything I have experienced before. As a nervous patient I came to this practice because they advertised painless dentistry. Only half believed it but at least it was a start. It took over 45 minutes to get there and there were many dentists between where I live and Stella Maris. The travelling was well worth it as Dr Namih lived up to his promise of painless dentistry. Am now nearing the end of extensive treatment lasting about 9 months, and for the first time in over 20 years I can smile with confidence. Thank you Dr Namih and team. Margaret Ward
