I brought my 6 year old cat in on Sunday, 5/12. To say their main focus was to ensure getting their money is an understatement. We saw Dr Juliano. My cat was very sick, diagnosed with diabetes, glucose at 325, dehydrated. He said she needed to be hospitalized. This visit for the exam, bloodwork and urine was almost 1,000. I said I was not going to hospitalize her but hoped to start her on insulin, bring the glucose down and see how she responds. He refused saying she would need to be monitored to determine the dosage and receive fluids. I said I would sign a waiver, let's start her on a low dose and see what happens but I was not allowing her to be hospitalized. He did nothing to try to help her. We brought our cat in for an emergency. She was falling down. We thought she had a stroke. They took her in another room and came to us and recommended we put her down. A few minutes later the incompetent vet came out and said that our cat bit him. I looked on the back room and saw they had a Rottweiler in the same room with our cat. Our cat never bit anyone in the 13 years we had her. The vet claimed that our indoor cat had to be tested for rabies and charged us for there incompetence. The worst experience of our life. I guess their priority is the money. I am very upset that my daughter-in-law was made to discuss payment first before her dying dog. The dog was left in agony and pain waiting for a vet. Hitting the button a minimum of 10 times for a vet to come in and was ignored. Her dog, on the floor, in excruciating pain crying out was ignored for 1 HOUR!One of the girls put her hand in my daughter-in-law's face while she was hysterical crying trying to get in for her dog, yelling only 2 people allowed in. The staff was great with my dog who is skittish and scared. We were in and out in an hour. Liked that we were taken right back to a room and didn't have interaction with other dogs or cats. Very clean too. read more

I took my ill cat to Priority Vet at the end of June because my vet was unavailable. My cat was stressed and was sneezing with a fever. Dr. Cudia said the cat had heart failure and I should take him up to an Animal Hospital immediately on a Friday night. He did not treat the cat with any medcation.I Priority Vet charged $1200.00. was able to speak to my normal vet and brought the cat to that vet the next day. The cat had an upper respitory infection that they treated with antibiotics and steriods. The cat was better within two days. I also took the vet to a cardiacspecialist ($1,000.00) and was told he had NO HEART ISSUES. I wouldn't bring my goldfish to Priority Vet. My beautiful beloved was misdiagnosed and not treated for an infection even I knew he had. Be careful who you take you pets to. I will be requesting a full refund. If I do not receive the refund, I will be seeing them in court. I wish I could give this review zero starts. read more

I am very disappointed .I am not even going to bother sharing my story since its already been done by everyone else eww its gross that all you care about is money rather then the welfare of a pet. I paid 600 dollars for them to tell me they don't know what's wrong and to take my cat to my regular vet. Also how is this considered an emergency vet if it's not even open 24 hours. I am a broke college student who's cat was actually dying from infection and you tell me you don't know to go to my regular vet who had her back to normal in a few days. I would have been able to afford my regular vet if they didn't charge me an outrageous price for nothing. And I'm not just saying that. They literally did nothing except look at her. Overall the staff was nice outside of one doctor who failed to tell me my dog had bit him attempting an x-ray, fast forward a week I'm awaiting going in to see my dog for the last time ever and he calls me from his personal phone insinuating there could be legal action if my dog isn't tested for rabies (which he did not have) and proceeds to tell me the test consists of cutting his head off, some common decent human compassion would have been nice read more

Tonight I brought in my 2 year old puppy. In the past, I have had terrible experiences with vets, but the Dr here tonight was amazing as well as the techs. Everyone was genuine and kind and I was there for less than an hour! I have never been to an emergency vet or even a vet for the matter, that was as thorough as he was. All concerns were listened to. This is a real shame. This place cares more about money then it does the well being of the animals it sees. I paid 150 dollars for my dog to be seen. They stated they knew the problem and to call back if it got worse. It's been 2 weeks I tried calling back and saying the same thing keeps happening well we will only see him if you pay another 150 dollars. The person on the phone Josh was extremely rude and refused to let me speak to the doctor because apparently no one speaks to the doctor...funny enough I called a week prior and spoke to the doctor who told me to give it a couple more days. Now they are saying two weeks is too long. With my job it's hard to get my dog to a vet during normal business hours, so it's really sad during these times and especially the holidays, they would treat people and pets in such a manner. They won't be getting anymore of my money and I won't subject my dog to a place that sees him as a piggy bank. Sorry for the long review but someone needs to be honest. read more

We had an emergency with our yorkie shihtzhu last night. I did a google search for after hours vets near me and luckily found PriorityVet. I called first and was made aware of their procedures and consultation fee. Long story short, we took him in at 9pm. The receptionist, the tech and the vet were all absolutely wonderful and they took great care of our boy. I would highly recommend any day if you need emergency vet care after hours! This vet was amazing. I called about my old age westie having problems with her eyes. They were thorough in asking me about any other issues or known issues they should be aware of. I told them she was a fragile old lady and they took great care into being gentle with her and patient with her. They offered to treat her other already present issues, and were polite and understanding when i declined. They focused on the issue i wanted them to, and helped me thoroughly understand how to help her at home outside of the vet. They weren't persistent in offering more expensive procedures, and were very respectful of any decisions i made. When I told them my dog didnt like to walk (due to her old age) they carried her to and from everywhere without hesitation. They were so gentle with her, and i'm so thankful for their caring hearts. My dog somehow ripped her toenail almost completely off at 3PM on a Sunday. Of course, our regular vet was closed, so I was happy to learn about Priority Vet and their evening/weekend hours. Priority Vet was wonderful during a very difficult time with my Goldendoodle. My dog was very ill and only had days to weeks to live, but was not in pain until he suddenly had a turn for the worse late in the evening. I knew I couldn't wait to go to our vet in the morning and had to make the agonizing decision to take him to an emergency vet knowing this was likely the end. I called Priority Vet because they had good online reviews and they were close to my home. On the phone, the vet tech was so kind, understanding and supportive that I felt immediately comfortable with my decision to go there for the last moments with my beloved pup. When we arrived, they took my dog in for an exam and confirmed what I already knew, that my boy was in extreme pain and they could try to make him comfortable until the next day to go to my own vet or move forward with putting him down that night. I didn't want him to suffer, so we decided to euthanize him that night. My family and I had the opportunity to say our goodbyes. The tech and vet were so patient and kind during this whole process. They repeatedly said how sorry they were and allowed us as much time as we needed with our boy. The vet gently explained every detail of what to expect when he injected my dog. The whole procedure was very peaceful and I was grateful that my best friend was no longer suffering. I can't thank the staff there enough for their professionalism and great kindness during this extremely distressing event. I recommend them with the highest praise. read more

I went to this vet and I requested to put a muzzle on my dog as she growls at the vet and that's what we always do at my regular vet. The vet would not allow me to do so and began grabbing my dogs leash out of my hand, tugging back and forth with me as I would not let go. He told me he would be examining my growling dog without a muzzle or he would have to ask me to leave. He was very condescending and disrespectful grabbing the leash and pulling with all his might to take it away from me. I left, went to Red Bank Veterinary Hospital where I usually go, and had a wonderful, professional experience as always. She wore the muzzle and all went well.
