My 14 week old 3 pound puppy had a terrible reaction 48 hours after a rabies shot. Dr Pascal treated him for Giardia although no cysts were present and he just really didn't know what was wrong. Dr Pascal also wanted to give him his distemper booster even though he had only stopped severe throwing up and diarrhea for less than a week. I made an appointment with VCA Vets on Fisher for a second opinion. Dr Pascal became very argumentative and told me it was a slap in his face to get a second opinion from another vet who wasn't a specialist and had as much training as he did. Really I'm trying to do the best for my puppy and he's getting sarcastic and mad. so unprofessional!! He's arrogant and self righteous and simply refused to take my concerns into account. read more

Dr. Fritz has always been wonderful with my dogs. My last dog Jett was his patient for his whole life. I can say that Jett was always very comfortable with Dr. Fritz even though he was a high anxiety dog. When I had to have him put down at 9 years old because of osteosarcoma Dr. Fritz was patient and caring at that awful, awful time. Dr Fritz is the dog whisperer! Needed to have my pup checked out for acute onset of limping without a known cause. They kindly fit me in to have her checked out. My pup gets very nervous, shakes uncontrollably and heavily pants when at the Vet. She is 14 and it has always been this way to any Vet she has seen. Well she met Dr Fritz who gained her trust immediately, held her during a very thorough exam and she did not shake, pant and seemed quite calm and relaxed with him! She has never done this with any vet before. Dr Fritz also spent significant time with us reviewing her history, past labs, her exam, and explained his findings and treatment protocol. It was the best Vet experience I have ever had with any of my pets! The office staff is also very kind and friendly. Dr. Feldman and Dr. Fritz are amazing vets and people. They have worked wonders over the years to keep our 17 year old dogs alive. Dr. Feldman discovered a method to resolve an issue with our one dog when no other vet could find a solution. I do not recommend this "veterinarian" at all. This office took $90 for a USDA travel document. He gave us the paper which was supposed to be it and it was not. Long story short we almost did not fly to our parents for Christmas & lost $3000 for the tickets. It cost us so much stress, additional money and time. We had to pay a professional veterinarian at the airport. We managed to get everything done literally 1 min before USDA closing time, so we could fly that day. After our return back to the US all we wanted was our money back and we were expecting an apology for their screw up. We visited them and have been promised our money back but it never happened. When we called to ask about this unprofessional behavior the "doctor" was rude and refused his responsibility instead. After everything this terrible experience cost us, his rude behavior was shocking. When I called and visited there they understood perfectly, but when I asked for our money back they could not understand my accent. Following a question what can I clarify the answer was nothing. What would you expect from someone who takes money for the job he actually did not do right?! We would not trust this "veterinarian" with our pet again. read more

It's not common for a Rottweiler to live to be 13 years old. 8-10 is the average, I've got one 9.5... but she's slowing down. Who knows she might shock us the way the other one did. Dr. Fritz has been my vet since 2007. He's only sent me to a specialist once - what Dr. Fritz suspected on that good ole 13year 4 month old dog was correct. I'd give them 10 stars if that was an option. Spending the summer at the shore with my cats, one of whom has some medical issues. He needed to see a vet on a summer Friday and my regular vet is a 90 minute drive. I was able to get a same day appointment with Coastal but was nervous about taking him to a practice I didn't know. While I was in the waiting room, I chatted with someone else who was waiting. She'd been going there for 17+ years and had wonderful things to say about the practice. And she was so right. Not only is the front desk staff so friendly and welcoming, Dr. Feldman and her medical assistant were absolutely wonderful. I'm so happy I found this practice and will be comfortable taking my kitty to them whenever he needs to be seen. What a great place. read more

We have been taking our pets to Dr Fritz for years. Since he had mobile vet and have always found them to go above and beyond

This young person who speaks broken English probably didn't understand me properly when I told her and her husband what they needed to fly to the Czech republic with their pet cat. She and her husband came to me a month before they traveled and I clearly told them who they needed to contact at the USDA before traveling out of the US. He acted like he knew all about it and that he'd done it before. He showed up in my office with the cat the day before they traveled and presented me with a form already filled out by them. After asking him repeatedly if this was the correct form, he treated me like I was bothering him with stupid questions, so I made sure it was correctly filled out and signed it. I examined his cat and completed another more lengthy form as well and charged them ninety dollars total for the exam and my time to fill out the forms - a bargain from what other vets charge. When they got back to the USA after their vacation, the husband showed up in my office and demanded his money back, since I, according to him, didn't know what I was doing (even though he presented me with a form he completed). I felt sorry for their trouble, so offered him a refund for 1/2 the amount ($45) which he agreed upon and wanted me to credit his account. After he got home and talked to his wife, Voyta, he called me back and said she wanted credit for the entire amount. At that point, I told him that I, too, now changed my mind because I performed the work and gave him a 1/2 hour of my and my staff's time. Six months later, Voyta called me and demanded that I return her full ninety dollars and became very abusive on the phone, so I hung up on her. She called again and kept yelling at me, so I hung up again. The third time she called, I told her that if she kept yelling at me, I would call the police. In short, I did a job for these people based upon their direction and will not return money for their mistakes. Also, I am not in this business to be abused by anyone. Dr Fritz read more
