The second salesperson came out the next day and created the estimate, which the transit company approved. At $1599.35, I thought the estimate was ridiculously high. The work took less than 2 hours, so even subtracting the supplies and taxes, it cost over $700/hour! I should've gotten a new post, but they reused the old one. Some stainless steel brackets from the post went missing. The wire fencing to be reattached was done so poorly that it is now at a diagonal, and the workers pushed the dirt up to hide the gap between the fence and the ground! What really made me mad was that between this multimillion dollar transit company and this multimillion dollar fencing company, I was expected to foot the cost because one wouldn't pay in advance, and the other wouldn't extend credit without charging an extra 3% above the estimate...at MY expense! When the job was done, the salesperson didn't contact me about my satisfaction with the work, he called just to find out why I hadn't paid the remainder! I didn't pay it because I couldn't. Overall, the gate opens and closes again, and Rick's got their payment. I would not recommend Rick's for this type of project ever!

We hired Lazy S to install a 3 level split rail fencing around our very large garden and they did a fantastic job. Just this week, Nathan came out and extended it for us. These guys are pros. Very poor quality materials. Security gates have been nothing but trouble. Had to call for repairs…read moreseveral times. They did NOT use any lock washers on Any of the rollers of gates. Nuts keep falling off and gates fall off. Marcus came out to rebels the gates that fell apart. But refused to put lock washers on and now REFUSES to answer calls to them. Wasted $5000.00. I counted the next day and notifed them as i picked them up close to closing time and bring rushed out so the salesman could get to the bank. Fast forward a month later the salesman i discussed with was out for 2 weeks... prior to his leaving he said he would take care of this. Now the owner says i signed for 34 and i cant get my money back even though i notified them the next day there was no record of that call to the salesman, even though the salesman backs this up... Im out $266. This is the Hermiston branch
