I use to love this Credit Union , My favorite people and they were there over 30 years were Patti Loiacano (5++ stars) and Hema (5stars), I did loans house and car I did IRAs and most of my banking over many years, when It was Postal Credit Union. FYI the web site is great. But it's hard to stay there now, its hard to get a HOLD of anyone that know what they are doing, their rates have not kept up and service is not what you would expect. I found this location to employ racist judgmental staff, who judge you based on looks, versus just helping get you the money you are legally entitled to. If you are a participating location for another credit union, that decision was made by entities who are not the customer nor the branch staff. Nothing can be done about it so why take it out on the customer? Just because you personally don't "recognize" the debit card being presented by the customer doesn't mean they don't get to be serviced by your location! If staff need to get trained on the various participating credit unions, then please make sure they do. Then you pass the issue off to another person who says the "machine" is not working. It is extremely unprofessional and rude to judge people then lie to them that your "machine" is not working right now. Which "machine" is that? You mean the computer that links to the main system? You obviously were able to help the other customers during this time. Or was it your "money dispensing machine"-aka "drawer" which also seemed to dispense money to other customers? Funny how once we decided to forgo the debit card swipe with PIN and ID route (which is par for huge banks-even without ID) and instead got the account number, filled out the teller slip and returned upstairs in less than 10 minutes, you were able to dispense the money. Now your "machine" is working? And funny how the teller took their time stalling to dispense the money and acting like it wasn't an account number--but when another person who was watching (and of a different race) came because they were wondering what was taking so long--the process moved along quickly. I also will post a BBB review and others because this is unacceptable. This is a business, and should not discriminate by race. If you have money in the credit union, you should be able to access it, without harassment by people who doubt whether you could have money or hold an account at your facility. Shame on all of you including the management who lets this happen. read more

I needed help with transferring money in order to put a down payment on a new vehicle. My credit union is and couldn't help remotely. They recommended their sister branch, Priority one. I was so stressed, but Lorena, the teller, was very helpful & provided good conversation, while I waited for the T's to cross and I'm to dot. She made the transition better. read more

Horrible, just horrible. Went in to do shared branch banking, like I have done before. Go to the window of a black woman teller 1037, before the transaction even started she was already rude and disrespectful. She asked me to step aside while I got her my shared branch banking code, snapped at me to get her pen before I was done. This is the reason why I left big banks, and went to a Credit Union, that was member owned, to get the respect, and dignity of being a member. I have gone in before with others, and not ever had a problem. I get that sometimes people have bad days, but seriously, this a horrible position. Teller 1037 need to be retrained, moved to the back, or fired. Yes, the last two options are harsh, just as she was unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful. The sad part is this is first time in 12 years I have had a problem like this at this location. I have gone in many times before to get a cashier check or cash, and never experienced something like this. Even in the height of the pandemic, something like this never happened. Base on the photo, it is Priority Credit Union in S. Pasadena, Ca. I don't really go to the bank ever since I had a bad experience with that African American guy. Almost switch bank at that time. But instead I just kept a small amount and open another acct somewhere else. I may mistaken his name but he was kinda short African American and with an unusual name. Thank God he is no longer working there. I did complaint to the manager at that time. But nothing was being done. She just apologize that it would not happen again. The second time I went there, same African American guy at that time, still very cold. I just stop by a couple of times this year and so happy to see good customer service teller, now a young lady. Another good customer service guy is Devyn G. He's the best! He is speedy with his job and always apologize when we have to wait for him for special transactions such as wiring etc. read more

This has honestly been one of the biggest burdens of a bank account I've ever had. It's so difficult to resolve issues and they never notify you if there is suspicious behavior on the accounts. I was notified of potential fraudulent activity on my debit card. I went into the credit union and cancelled the debit card and was issued a new one. Approximately 6 weeks later, another fraudulent charge appeared on my account. When I went into the credit union again to cancel the new debit card, I was told the charge was put through on the "old" card that had been cancelled 6 weeks earlier. Bottom line was the charge was allowed to go through and the credit union refused to admit (and even changed the date of cancellation) they made a mistake. People make mistakes, but refusing to admit to it and even changing credit union records so no proof exists or evidence of their error.......Methinks not!! read more

The manager is highly ignorant. The teller and manager act so unprofessional. They should not be in customer service if they hate there job so much. Priority One Credit Union is the WORST! They keep depositing my checks into my Savings even though I write (and highlight) "deposit into checking" on the memo. So when my car loan is deducted from my checking account, the funds aren't there! Then they charge ME late fees for it. I've had to call more than 4 times to get this corrected and the problem still occurs. Not all the time but I have to constantly check my account to see if they deposited my check into the correct account. I only use this credit union for my cars loans, nothing else. I'm still trying to get the "late fees" reversed. Today I was told that because one of the fees was debited from my account in December 2010 and that they've "closed the books" for that year that I can't get those fees back. Are you kidding me?!! If I were working there, I'd tell a manager what's going on so they can check to see which employee is depositing my checks to the wrong account and talk with them about it. But they don't seem to care. It seems like they're trying to TAKE money from their customers any way they can. I can't wait until my loans are paid off so I can be rid of them!! Oh and I got hung up on while in the middle of explaining my situation. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more

I used to do all my banking with Chase Bank. Until my account was compromised 3 times. On the third attempt someone was able to take money out of my account. This experience was horrifying. I got my money back. But during the whole ordeal, Chase couldn't tell me why this kept happening. I was never given a clear explanation. I decided to look into a credit union. I have a friend who belongs to Priority one and she had nothing but good things to say about it. To make a long story short, I am now a member of priority one credit union. Going on 3 years. I don't have anything bad to say about it. When I go in to the credit union, I always get exceptional customer service. Everyone is always helpful and happy. Shot out to Alexandria! I called to get the end date of my auto loan......its wrong and they have no idea when it ends. Um hello! How can they not know! I had to figure it out on my own!
