I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the team at the credit union for their outstanding service and support. During a very stressful financial situation, the staff treated me with professionalism, patience, and compassion. The loan process was explained clearly, and every effort was made to help me navigate the requirements and address any obstacles that arose along the way. Although there were challenges during the process, the team remained responsive and committed to helping me reach a resolution. Thanks to their assistance, I was able to secure the financing needed to address an urgent matter and move forward with greater peace of mind. I am grateful for the excellent customer service I received and would highly recommend this credit union to anyone looking for a financial institution that genuinely cares about its members. Thank you again for your dedication, professionalism, and support. read more

I am a shared branch member and have been coming here for years to handle transactions since my main branch is significantly farther. Again years. Then all of a sudden they say they have a policy that they have to put hold my checks. This has literally never happened before. I showed the manager all my transactions going back this entire year and she just said the people who helped me before messed up by letting me do it. So now they will never help me without the hold so the whole point of me going here is rendered useless. Terrible service, terrible decisions. read more

I want to take a moment to sincerely recognize the outstanding support I received during my loan process. Jessica Villalon truly went above and beyond every step of the way, making what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth and manageable. Her professionalism was evident in how efficiently and clearly she handled everything, but what stood out even more was her genuine kindness and patience. She took the time to answer my questions, ensured I understood the process, and made me feel supported throughout. It's rare to find someone who combines expertise with such a personal touch, and I'm incredibly grateful for her dedication and care. read more

I've been a customer at this branch for several years -- primarily out of convenience -- but I've never had a genuinely positive experience here. Every visit has left me feeling unwelcome. The tellers are consistently dismissive and seem uncomfortable engaging with customers in a basic, respectful way. It's not one isolated incident; it's a pattern I've noticed across multiple visits and multiple staff members. Other reviewers have raised the same concerns, which tells me this is a branch-wide issue that management has yet to address. A bank earns loyalty through trust and service -- this branch has offered neither. Serious investment in customer service training and cultural awareness is long overdue. read more

Working with Ana Sanchez has been a consistently wonderful experience. She is incredibly easy to work with--warm, approachable, and always professional. Most of our communication has been through email, which has made the process so convenient and efficient, yet she always brings a personal, caring touch to every interaction. Our relationship with her began 7 years ago when we moved to California and applied for a personal loan. She made the process smooth and stress-free from the very beginning. Since then, we've worked with her multiple times, including a car loan--and most recently, a refinancing transaction. With each experience, she has never failed to provide excellent service and support, always handling our concerns with patience, clarity, and genuine care. More than just a professional, we truly appreciate and admire her as a person. If only we had realized sooner, we would have left this review a long time ago. She absolutely deserves the recognition for all the great work she's done over the years. We're beyond grateful and would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and knowledgeable loan officer. read more

I use to love this Credit Union , My favorite people and they were there over 30 years were Patti Loiacano (5++ stars) and Hema (5stars), I did loans house and car I did IRAs and most of my banking over many years, when It was Postal Credit Union. FYI the web site is great. But it's hard to stay there now, its hard to get a HOLD of anyone that know what they are doing, their rates have not kept up and service is not what you would expect. I would give less stars but I use to like them. I think there has been a turn over of employees and I want better rates and better , knowledgeable customer service read more

If u can get Ana Sanchez to help with questions or explaining anything, at this location or to help take care of you, then u would be lucky and delighted by her service... she has a sense of humor, she's patient, competent about the whole thing... if u could just read this over again and one more, again, than I could, maybe say that's enough emphasis on how much I enjoyed her service! read more

If I could give a more-than-five-star rating, I absolutely would. I'm a member of a different credit union, in a different California county, who needed to make two large (for me) withdrawals from my own credit union savings. At the time of my requests, the South Pas Priority One location was in its first few days of dealing with a new system for handling these kinds of "cousin credit union" transactions. Jessica and Alex were absolute champs at handling my requests. They were non-flustered, cordial, and friendly; they explained what they were doing and why; and they completed my transactions smoothly and efficiently. They moved through their new procedures carefully and logically, they didn't rush or miss any steps--and for me, both transactions were a total pleasure. I've been with my own credit union for several decades, but if I ever consider changing to one that's more geographically desirable, my first choice will be Priority One--and that will specifically be so I can deal with Jessica, Alex, and their colleagues. My deepest thanks to them. read more

I found this location to employ racist judgmental staff, who judge you based on looks, versus just helping get you the money you are legally entitled to. If you are a participating location for another credit union, that decision was made by entities who are not the customer nor the branch staff. Nothing can be done about it so why take it out on the customer? Just because you personally don't "recognize" the debit card being presented by the customer doesn't mean they don't get to be serviced by your location! If staff need to get trained on the various participating credit unions, then please make sure they do. Then you pass the issue off to another person who says the "machine" is not working. It is extremely unprofessional and rude to judge people then lie to them that your "machine" is not working right now. Which "machine" is that? You mean the computer that links to the main system? You obviously were able to help the other customers during this time. Or was it your "money dispensing machine"-aka "drawer" which also seemed to dispense money to other customers? Funny how once we decided to forgo the debit card swipe with PIN and ID route (which is par for huge banks-even without ID) and instead got the account number, filled out the teller slip and returned upstairs in less than 10 minutes, you were able to dispense the money. Now your "machine" is working? And funny how the teller took their time stalling to dispense the money and acting like it wasn't an account number--but when another person who was watching (and of a different race) came because they were wondering what was taking so long--the process moved along quickly. I also will post a BBB review and others because this is unacceptable. This is a business, and should not discriminate by race. If you have money in the credit union, you should be able to access it, without harassment by people who doubt whether you could have money or hold an account at your facility. Shame on all of you including the management who lets this happen. read more

Base on the photo, it is Priority Credit Union in S. Pasadena, Ca. I don't really go to the bank ever since I had a bad experience with that African American guy. Almost switch bank at that time. But instead I just kept a small amount and open another acct somewhere else. I may mistaken his name but he was kinda short African American and with an unusual name. Thank God he is no longer working there. I did complaint to the manager at that time. But nothing was being done. She just apologize that it would not happen again. The second time I went there, same African American guy at that time, still very cold. I just stop by a couple of times this year and so happy to see good customer service teller, now a young lady. Another good customer service guy is Devyn G. He's the best! He is speedy with his job and always apologize when we have to wait for him for special transactions such as wiring etc. read more

Horrible, just horrible. Went in to do shared branch banking, like I have done before. Go to the window of a black woman teller 1037, before the transaction even started she was already rude and disrespectful. She asked me to step aside while I got her my shared branch banking code, snapped at me to get her pen before I was done. This is the reason why I left big banks, and went to a Credit Union, that was member owned, to get the respect, and dignity of being a member. I have gone in before with others, and not ever had a problem. I get that sometimes people have bad days, but seriously, this a horrible position. Teller 1037 need to be retrained, moved to the back, or fired. Yes, the last two options are harsh, just as she was unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful. The sad part is this is first time in 12 years I have had a problem like this at this location. I have gone in many times before to get a cashier check or cash, and never experienced something like this. Even in the height of the pandemic, something like this never happened. Teller 1037 needs to be pulled away from the front immediately. read more

Slow like the DMV, one teller, staff standing around, talking about when they get off at 5pm, but it's 4pm.

This has honestly been one of the biggest burdens of a bank account I've ever had. It's so difficult to resolve issues and they never notify you if there is suspicious behavior on the accounts. Overdraft fees after charges I didn't approve and the runaround when I'm trying to fix it. I can't wait to close this account. read more

Great customer service, Priority One Credit Union representative Devyn Goonetilleke is the Best! Thank You for your service!

I was notified of potential fraudulent activity on my debit card. I went into the credit union and cancelled the debit card and was issued a new one. Approximately 6 weeks later, another fraudulent charge appeared on my account. When I went into the credit union again to cancel the new debit card, I was told the charge was put through on the "old" card that had been cancelled 6 weeks earlier. Bottom line was the charge was allowed to go through and the credit union refused to admit (and even changed the date of cancellation) they made a mistake. People make mistakes, but refusing to admit to it and even changing credit union records so no proof exists or evidence of their error.......Methinks not!! read more

Yet another stupid charge from this fucking bank . They charger $9 for return mail saying that I don't live there which I do till next week . Ask them why and the say go talk to the post office . I have been coming to this bank for years. Never had an issue making a simple transaction. I came here to make a quick transfer/withdrawal. Disrespectful distasteful and straight rude staff. The manager is highly ignorant. The teller and manager act so unprofessional. They should not be in customer service if they hate there job so much. They have no respect and treat the job as if they have no upright unbringing. That manager should not be in her position. For her to tell me she does not have to assist me for being a shared branch was uncalled for. She is absolutely absurd. Miserable people should not be helping customers especially in the banking field. Don't trust that staff. read more

So confusing to me as of to why this location only has 2 stars. Every time I go, everyone is super pleasant, helpful & quick. Haven't had a teller that's been unfortunate whatsoever.
