On January 12/21 at 6 am our furnace stopped working, at 6.30 am I call Lance and he arranged for technician Aman to come to our place to check out our furnace. Aman shows up within a few hours and diagnoses the problems with our furnace within minutes and explains them to me. We then call Lance back and the 3 of us discuss our options. We were given repair options along with rough estimate and we also discussed full replacement rough estimates. Given our furnace system is 23 years old my wife and I decide to go with replacement option. Lance calls Steve and Steve arrives at our place within 45 minutes. Steve measures up and provides product information along with rough estimate. We decided to go with new system installation and Steve immediately arranges for next day installation due to our situation. On January 13/21 Matt and Tyler show up to perform the tear out and installation. I was extremely impressed with their professionalism right from the onset. They laid carpet down to protect our floors and they removed their shoes every time they came into our house. Their attention to detail for this installation was extremely professional and no corners were cut. The quality of Priority Mechanicals staff and product is second to none. I was a Facilities Manager for the City Of Kitchener for 32 years and was responsible for many tradespersons and the hiring of all trade contractors. I've always said any company is only as good as it's employee's and Priority Mechanical can be proud of their employee's who represent them well. I would highly recommend Priority Mechanical as they provide quality staff and a quality product in a timely manner at a competitive price. Well done Priority keep up the Excellent Customer Service. Copying my Google Review: Had a gas line for my bbq installed by priority. Better pricing (and flat rate! no expensive per foot costs) than any other gas fitter in the area that I called. Were able to come out within a couple days and the work was done perfectly. Install was neat and tidy, no sloppy work at all. They also oversized the line (3/4" when it only needed to be 1/2") to future proof without even being asked or being charged extra for it. Priority also did the hvac on the house, the same workmanship shows there as well with completely sealed up duct work and runs that are all ran cleanly. Overall, it's now my go-to place for hvac/gas work. *edit Feb 2018* Have to revise my review and lower the rating to 2 stars. Had them quote a unit heater for my garage and was quoted a reasonable price on the unit. Several days later on the day they were to come out and quote installation, they emailed me back not only asking to come the next day to quote instead, but also saying they made a mistake on the price and it was actually 50% more than originally quoted. They would also not honor their initial pricing because it would be at a loss to them. Pretty disappointing and poor customer service from Steve in regards to this, not the way to do business. Their previous work was good, so maybe for straight forward installation they're okay but not impressed at this time. To the owner of Priority Mechanical - please feel free to reach out to me to correct this situation. *edit2 Feb 2018* I ended up sourcing a different readily available retail unit heater and asked Priority to still do the gas hookup since their installers were always good. However, due to the above review, they refused to provide any services even after offering to revise the review to reflect any continued good service. We're newbies and never had a gas fireplace. Bought this house and needed the fireplace cleaned and a solution for what we thought was a faulty fireplace. It wouldn't light up in spite of our attempts start it from the front controls. They cleaned the fireplace ok. RE the fact that the fireplace wouldn't light, they either didn't know that there was a switch that lit the fireplace or deliberately tried to sell us a new gas valve and services that we didn't need. The tech 'jumpered' the gas valve and said 'See, when I jumper it, the unit works fine. That means that you need a new gas valve. ($270 plus service fee to install).' My gas fitter friend found the part for $200 and wondered why jumpering would overcome a faulty gas valve. He found that the switch for the fireplace somehow had a wire disconnected so that the switch wouldn't work. Reconnected the wire and what do you know? The fireplace worked fine. These guys are either incompetent or dishonest. Either way, keep looking... read more

We bought a new home from Eastforest Homes(...a terrible experience) but this company and their staff were absolutely outstanding in customer service. The staff did not need to help me get serial and model numbers for the furnace or A/C so that i could register then online for extended warranty coverage, because they were not the company who installed them...but kindly helped me get all of this information...sent out some of their crew, told me the company who did do the install(they never called) and helped me get the numbers registered online....I highly recommend this company and the staff for their courteous and kindness towards others on more than i occasion.
