Truly something I look forward to every year…read more These are the best Apple Dumplings I have had to date. I've had them three times from Bissinger's at the Bloomsburg Fair and I can NEVER get enough of them. The warm buttery trust is filled with thinly sliced apples that taste almost caramelized in their own sugars. Laying on top of the warm mound of steamy goodness is a big scoop of vanilla or cinnamon ice cream (I of course chose cinnamon) As always we touch on their understanding of food allergies and cross contamination. The Staff are very kind and knowledgeable about food allergies. Even with being very busy they took the time to speak with us. They assured both me and my girlfriend that no nuts of any kind were used in the making of their dumplings or ice cream. It is really nice to go to a place you genuinely enjoy and have their product be 100% safe! This is the only place for your apple dumpling needs, and believe me, you need them!
