ZERO RESULTS, ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY. I paid for a full postcard mailing service, including printing and delivery to USPS. The tracking supposedly shows the order was "delivered to the DDU," yet not a single recipient received a postcard. When I reached out, I was told the job was "done correctly" on their end and that it was now my responsibility to contact USPS. That's not what a full service mailing should mean. If I hire someone to handle my campaign, I expect them to advocate for me and ensure the job is completed--not wash their hands of it the moment it's dropped off. I received no refund, only excuses. Paying for 100% of a service and receiving 0% of the results is completely unacceptable. read more

Do not use this company. I should have checked their online reviews first. Horrible reviews here on Yelp and also Facebook. Red flag was that one page on their website has a dead 800 number. They fill out the paperwork incorrectly and then USPS doesn't deliver. They never take the blame. I paid $700 for flyers that were never delivered and they refused to resend and refused to refund me. They actually told me that I needed to call USPS. I didn't pay USPS. It is all run through PFL's USPS account so there is literally nothing I can do about it and they refuse to do anything about it. We requested a quote and after all the time we put into working with them to figure out the options, they decided they didn't want to spend any more time on this mailer and were very unprofessional and rude. After speaking with a group of colleagues about our experience, I learned that someone who had used them before was not thrilled about the quality either. After hearing that, I'm glad we didn't end up printing/mailing with them, but as a small nonprofit organization with limited resources, I regret spending so much time working with them. 100% Amateur Hour. Horrible service - inferior products - no refunds. I've been in the design/print business for 35 and it has never been more difficult. (worked with Mike Jason, who eventually proved he knows little about printing) Paypal invoice was paid on 1/3/2020. Product was promised within 7-10 days. Product was shipped on 1/29/20. During that time, i phoned and emailed repeatedly and received NO responses. NOTHING. This was for a custom printed BOX (the name of the company contains the words BOX and PRINTING) - the box was made from two pieces, glued together. I originally had my new business cards printed with Vistaprint and they came back so dull and washed out, not to mention some of my fonts were a little too small. How unfortunate to have wasted 500 cards! Then I found PFL. Firstly they sent me a sample pack that was the most beautiful and impressive sampling of printed material I'd ever seen. After sharing my issues and challenges with them via their website, a representative from PFL called me and walked me through my needs and their capabilities. The communication was second to none!!! Then they used their good judgement and noticed that my fonts were too small and actually fixed it before sending me the digital proof. It was awesome to have an actual person assess and provide insight, as a lay person, not everything is always apparent on the computer screen. Then, for the best part, they sent an actual hard copy proof for my review of the layout and colors - I was able to really see the vibrancy and sizing of everything on my card BEFORE printing 500 cards. These people are amazing and their customer service is simply exceptional! And, if it could get any better than this, my actual cards arrived 2 days ago and they are BEAUTIFUL and perfect!!! I couldn't be more thrilled. PFL not only makes the best quality product, the customer experience truly sets them apart. I have nothing but praise for PFL. Usually I'm a Vista Print girl, but Vista Print doesn't have an actually person look at your project, review it, send you a proof, and offer suggestions. PFL's customer service has always been top notch with same day responses. I am currently printing some brochures. Some of the photos available to me are too low of resolution but were hard to tell on my color printer at work. PFL sent hard copy proofs out for free that arrived next day sampling the color and paperweight. I use InDesign but am no expert. When I had questions how to best send something to them or fix a problem on our brochure, they talked me through it and offered suggestions over the phone. They have spent so much time with me on this brochure that I almost felt guilty as it's not like this order is a huge money-maker for them. They all do it with a smile in their voice as well. Finally, when you call an actual person answers the phone! You cannot imagine how happy this makes me!!! read more

BE VERY VERY CAREFUL!!!! I am giving them one star because I couldn't give them less. This company is a fraud. I sent them my project and my timeline, and they sent me a quote. Their quote looked great, so I turned down other possible vendors and moved forward with them. I was on a tight schedule, and I had already lost days with them when they suddenly told me that their quote was wrong. I talked to their very unhelpful manager Sara, and she took advantage of my urgency to re quote me. The new quote was $4,000.00 higher. I was so desperate as to be willing to negotiate THEIR mistake, but she wouldn't even try. read more

If I could give them a half star, I would. Our small, nonprofit organization ordered a 1000 note cards from them back in October. They arrived in 20 individually wrapped bundles of 50, stacked in a box. As we did with our previous order from them, we placed them on a shelf in our print room. They were stacked much the way they were stacked in the initial shipping box they arrived in. After about 150 cards, we started noticing creases at the top of the cards. We checked the remaining 15 packages of cards, and every single pack was creased in exactly the same spot, even packages at the top of each stack. However, the Mustang Team, specifically Lucas Nardin, blamed us for how we stored them, and suggested that we should have closely and individually inspected all 1,000 cards upon arrival. I hired PFL to print holiday cards for my firm that would have kicked off a huge, new marketing campaign. We had put a lot of thought into creating a design that would attract attention and were on an incredibly tight timeline, but they had reassured me that the deadline could be met. We ordered 1,200 die cut cards that featured a foiled logo in the center cut. While the service started out okay, the product received did NOT look like the mockup. Instead of foiling the entire logo as the mockup showed, they only did the outline of our logo, leaving the design of the card looking like a empty CD sleeve. There is absolutely no wow factor, and our logo is nearly unnoticeable unless you look closely. I contacted PFL and they only offered a refund if we returned the cards to them (leaving us with nothing to send to 1200 clients for Christmas) or they could issue a partial refund for the foil process that they obviously jacked up. We have spent this year refreshing our brand and this card was intended to launch this effort into the new year. Instead I am left without options to reprint, no offer to rush a new order, and a lackluster card that will not have an impact or represent the brand of our firm to clients. I could not be more disappointed and they have ruined the official release of a years' worth of work. read more

BUYER BEWARE! Our grassroots group hired PFL to print and send out 15,000 EDDM postcards and many members of our group in different zip routes never received their postcards. PFL calls itself a "full-service mailing house" on its website. IT IS NOT. PFL contracts out delivery to the USPS, and has NO WAY OF TRACKING DELIVERIES TO HOUSES. And when we tried to contact the Red Team/"Customer Service" about our missing deliveries (almost half of our order...) we were ignored, yelled at and told there was nothing they could do. PFL's promotes their 100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee and it is anything but 100%... it is conditional and they could care less if their customers are satisfied with their order. Only after our group pressed PFL for information, we discovered that 3 zip routes didn't even make it to the post office from PFL! They could tell us this because all they do is track the bulk deliveries that leave PFL and arrive at the USPS. Once the item is delivered to the post office, PFL takes no responsibility for. I have NEVER dealt with a company so poorly managed with such horrendous "customer service" as PFL. And if Sara or Bethany is on your account, run away! I would not recommend PFL to my worst enemy. (ok, maybe THE VERY WORST enemy...) Learn from our experience and find someone else for your project, you will save yourself many headaches and possibly some money. read more

I used PFL.com as a result of a recommendation from my wife, Allison G. She had issues with their service but was satisfied with the final resolution so I called them. I placed the order over the phone for 1000 glossy, double sided, European sized cards, RUSH 2 day production and overnight delivery from FEDEx. This was not a $10.00 Vistaprint situation. I paid just under $300.00. I sent in my custom artwork and emailed the dimensions from my graphic designer for the card's sizing specs. I paid for the shipment to arrive on Friday 3/27/2015 at 10:30am but they did not get to me until Monday 3/30/2015. To late for the Friday meeting I had, where I was to give an important new client my bright shiny, thick papered, European sized, business card. This put me in an unfavorable situation, to say the very least. I live in L.A. but the cards were sent to San Fran. Upon checking with FedEx to see why my cards didn't get to me on time I was told that PFL.com gave FedEx the wrong zip code information. When the package finally arrived I noticed also that my name was spelled incorrectly on the shipping label, but more importantly the cards were standard sized and not the larger, European size I ordered. PFL.com dropped the ball and put me in a very bad spot. I needed them to perform as they said they would and provide the services I paid a pretty penny for. They offered a refund or to reprint the order. Since there was a problem with my wife's original order (they also got the wrong size for her cards) and now mine, I was conflicted. The customer service rep. did apologize for their errors but in a very dry, matter of fact way. It was as if a boiler plate script were being read. It did not seem that the problems they caused were a high priority for them. Instead the rep. came across as if I was an inconvenience. Honestly It would have been easier to have them do the order over again since they have all the artwork and information but I just felt insulted and frustrated. I opted for the refund and will be shipping the defective product back to them asap. I've never written a review that was not positive. It's a shame that I felt compelled to write this one. Perhaps this will aid management in making changes that will help further the companies success and ensure that this doesn't happen to someone else. read more

I have to admit I was hesitant to contact PFL at first, as I found them through a google search for foil stamping. This turned out to be one of the greatest discoveries I've made! I've used many, many printers over the years, and this is by far the best company I have worked with. The customer service is the best I have encountered, not just for a printing company, but of any business. They are quick to send samples, answer questions, and provide quotes, and the quality of the materials I've received is outstanding. (Especially considering their very competitive pricing.) I own a custom invitation business and I also work full time at an advertising agency, and so I print everything from wedding invitations to full marketing materials for clients and I feel comfortable printing all of it through them. read more

I needed business cards and someone to design them for me. After seeing positive reviews on Yelp and elsewhere for PrintingForLess, I decided to give them a try. Overall, I think they did a great job and I'm proud to be handing out my business cards to potential clients. The design process was acceptable for the price ($69), but not great. After discussing the initial design with a coordinator, I received the initial proof a couple of days later that looked pretty good. I was pretty excited at how fast the process was going at first, but then realized that even if I quickly provided feedback for a given proof, the revised proof was almost always sent the next business day. This was okay for correcting issues with fonts and typos, but not okay when trying to deal with problems with graphics and layout. Making things worse was that I was almost always presented with just one solution to a design concern instead of being given several options to work with to make the process move along faster. I got through the process in about two weeks and was ultimately pleased with the final design. And as a last note about design, I was happy that when I requested the original graphics files (Adobe Illustrator), they were sent to me the same day with no fuss. I paid extra for expedited printing and shipping and the product arrived on time and looking beautiful. read more

Update 2017: Twice now their coupon thing on their site has not worked, but twice now I have called/emailed and got a refund with no problem. So be sure to check your credit card statement if you are using a coupon. Regardless, after trying a few other places, I can say hands down that this place prints better cards than other places I have tried, so they're worth the extra price. The cards I received from PFL are beautiful and I'm glad I ordered there. There was a hiccup with the order. When I made the order, I put in a coupon code for $20 off and it showed up, but after the order went through, my card was charged the $20. I contacted them and they informed me the coupon code was invalid. What? It showed up as valid on the order form. After a few emails back and forth, they agreed to honor it and even upgraded my shipping! read more

This company provided me with several quotes, I also confirmed on the phone that both the print and the mailing was included in the quote. After hiring a graphic designer and an assistant to work on a large database, the day I ordered, the price was 2.5 times the net quote they provided me. This was an incredible waste of time and money. Do not trust their quote system, they are not honest about it and they will waste your time. This company has EXCELLENT customer service. I work for a small non-profit company in South Florida and am using them to print everything for our press kit. Everytime I have called their 800 number, I always speak with a live person, they are always friendly and have been able to answer my question every single time I called (which has been about 7 times). They even called to remind me that I had forgotten a step in the proof approval process not even 5 minutes after I clicked submit. I have been using these guys for years. I hate outsourcing anything as basic as printing from a foreign country. See I am from Texas and we just think that much about ourselves. I literally have a friend in the printing business down the street. I feel like a jerk throwing him under the truck, but these guys at PFL are just that good. They consistently beat the competition in the key three: Price, Service, and Quality. They handle design and mailing on our marketing and even threw an overlay on the catalog we use at our website, www.texasflange.com. Since they are focused on selling the printing they don't try to rip you off on design or mailing service. I can't say enough about these guys. Except for Cole on the Big Sky Team. For some reason when I couldn't find my review on Yelp so here it is again! How do you know your EDDM count is accurate when it leaves their facility? At first they hook you with great service and a discount but don't try questioning their business ethics when they change your quote. After your orders they remove all previous quotes so you can't refer back for evidence as to original quote. I was furious when they changed my quote right in front of my eyes stating that the first quote didn't include a shipping cost, then it was because the first quote included a discount that shouldn't have been there. I explained that this is a false and deceptive practice which really ticked the guy off. He became rude and condescending, eventually removing a portion off the added cost but not before stating that my art work that I submitted earlier never went through. I resent art work expecting my proof that night as he stated would happen but it never came, the next day he blamed me saying I didn't send the way he told me to so now it would cost me money to move up production in order to receive mailers In time for event. I told them I was filing a complaint with BBB, etc and I was told they would get this order out but not to use them any longer. I was able to determine that I was shorted 200 mailers on but only because unbeknownst to them my boss and coworkers live on one of the mailing routes and they never received a mailer. They are refusing reimbursement stating they printed the correct amount but refuse to mail me the documentation. They also sent me an email stating that they told me I shouldn't have used this service near the holidays because post office is unreliable. What a joke, what printing company would encourage not to use the very service they supply. This was my 3rd order with them and though I was hesitant to use them this time because of discrepancies in the the other orders it never caused an actual issue until now. The product is good but the deception and practice of holding items hostage knowing it is time sensitive isn't worth the frustration and loss of money. EDDM are post office bread and butter but unless you have someone living on the routes your delivering to you may never know if the amount you paid for is the amount that gets delivered! read more

I've never left a negative review for a company before, but after receiving such poor customer service from Printing For Less unfortunately I have to! The advised me that the font on our business card proofs was too small, I responded and asked them to increase the size. They did not, and printed the cards with font too tiny to read. The two sets of cards we ordered were unusable, they recognized the error and offered to reprint them for 50% of the cost. I was not happy about it, but agreed. Then they charged me full price for the first reprint, and said I had to pay 100% of the cost for the second set of cards. This was simply unacceptable, especially when the home page of their website claims 'It's Right. It's On Time. Or It's FREE'. I gave them multiple opportunities to make things right and they declined. Thankfully I use American Express and they are wonderful so I am able to get my money back through them, and am now looking for a new printing company. read more

I have been using PFL for about 10 years in multiple jobs on both coasts for marketing materials (brochures, signs) as well as business cards. Their customer service and design teams had been exceptional until the past year or so. My service team has always been the Silver Team, although the members on that team have changed over the years. I have been at my current job for 5 years now and our relationship with PFL goes back to before I started working here. Our business cards are straight-forward - the only thing that changes from card-to-card is Name, Title and mobile number. Only the senior management have their personal email addresses. In the past, I would simply email the Silver Team a new business card order and let them know the Name, Title and Mobile Number. I would get back a perfect proof every time. More recently, I have had to submit multiple corrections and inexplicable mistakes have been made. They've changed the margins of our address and phone numbers, our font and have jumbled the fax and phone numbers. I received a call from BaLeigh after I completed a survey for them after our last order (three proof corrections were submitted). She apologized and offered us a 10% discount on our next two orders. Honestly, it did not seem like the discount matched the level of disappointment but I was hopeful that having pointed out the nose-dive in competence that their work would return to normal. I was severely disappointed. I sent in an email to the Silver Team, let them know the name, title and mobile number. I referenced an earlier project number and attached a scan of my own business card for them to use as a style reference, specifically typing "Please reference attached scan of my business card and previous project P********* for layout." What I received back was my own business card, minus the line with our main phone number. I called, spoke to Ashley who apologized and explained that the people who receive the orders are not the designers, which basically amounts to admitting that whoever received the order didn't bother to read the email at all, except to somehow infer that I didn't want a phone number on a business card (?!?) and offered no remedy. I cancelled the order and needless to say that our relationship with Printing for Less is finished. read more

After using another service for many years we were struggling with their printing since they didn't seem to actually look at the items they were printing to check for errors. Needless to say, we had a few recent problems without printing projects and decided to try PFL. PFL was very easy to contact and had a quick response time to my questions. They did our project perfectly and contacted us when there was a problem with our design. They seemed to actually look at what was coming off the printer. Small business owner who was price shopping for business stationary. Follow up from customer service team, they only have about 3 customer service representatives, was sloppy and non-existent. Customer is made to feel that he or she is the culprit and source of issues. Also must question their competency as they clearly do not know that placing logos and design elements on certain parts of an envelope would cause that envelope to be rejected by the US postal service. This had to be brought to their attention as one would think that they, being in this business, would know. Thank goodness another reputable company alerted me to this before spending hundreds of dollars on what would have been worthless envelopes. Strongly advised to look elsewhere. read more

I have used Vistaprint a couple of times. First, they printed some of my photos onto mugs that I gave to family members at Christmas. Everyone enjoyed their gifts, and the mugs looked very good. I would definitely order similar ones from this company again. Then I ordered save-the-date magnets for my wedding. The magnets themselves looked AMAZING, and I saved a lot of money by using Vistaprint over other sites. I didn't like the way the magnets were shoved into a large envelope without any cushion or security, though, and based on the way they were packaged, one of the magnets was bent in two places, becoming unusable and impossible to straighten out. Also, the mailing envelopes for the magnets were missing despite that the invoice indicated that I should have received them. I contacted Vistaprint's customer service department, and they were very prompt and helpful. Not only did they send me the missing envelopes by putting a rush on the order, but they took it upon themselves to send me a duplicate order of my magnets. So...they obviously went out of their way to accommodate me and make up for their error, which I genuinely appreciate, but they didn't send envelopes for the "extra" magnets, which rendered them unusable, not to mention that we didn't need the extra magnets in the first place, and the material that went into them was essentially wasted. When the envelopes and second set of magnets arrived, I saw that they, too, had been shoved into an envelope and left to jostle around, but at least they arrived intact. Overall, I am very happy with the magnets and pleased by the customer service, even if I recommend that they rethink their shipping/packaging process. I was suggest that other brides and grooms consider using Vistaprint because their work is quite good and they try to rectify their mistakes. I am now waiting on an order of business cards, a purchase that is saving me a LOAD of money because, instead of creating a wedding invitation insert for my wedding website information (and being charged $150 by other sites), I am putting the URL on Vistaprint business cards, which is costing a fraction of the price. If you live outside Europe, just give this company a few weeks to send your order because they are located in the Netherlands. Plan in advance, and you will be pleased. read more
