When I called for an appointment the receptionist was able to book me for the same day (I didn't want to wait) and explained how my student benefits worked. Nada, the hygienist was thorough and gave me the best cleaning I've ever had (for real!). My teeth are a little crooked, so I had some stains that have been bothering me for the last year & she was able to remove them during the cleaning and made my mouth feel brand new! I'm curious by nature and always have a lot of questions. She answered them all and we even shared a few laughs. The Dentist himself is a gentlemen and very kind. Nada has been there for 5 years and the clinic itself around 7. I would HIGHLY recommend this place and have no negative comments. It was 100% a great experience.

RIP OFF. My family as been a patient for over 10 years . I get my teeth cleaned 3 times a year,…read moreand starting in Nov 2017 had invisalign with them from their "specialist" Dr. Rykiss. They pushed him after saying he was better equipped to manage my case. "It would cost a little more ie. $7200 vs. $5k, but probably worth it.". Well, Dr. Rykiss only came to the office once a month, so if something broke or needed adjusting in between, or if you were unavailable, or sick, that day you were literally screwed and had to wait until next month's visit. Then COVID came which was not their fault but further delayed the experience. SO 3 full years later, they came off. The treatment took double the time, cost 30% more for premium doc, and I was not happy at all with the progress or the time it was taking, but was handcuffed to Dawson because I was mid-treatment (and you cant just move to another ortho, BUYER BEWARE, and I still ended up with a substandard result, confirmed by two other orthos I consulted.) Even after I asked to end the treatment because I no longer saw any progress, Dr. Rykiss agreed and said, that we could tweak if we wanted to at a later time. Well, a year later the wire retainer bond popped off and one tooth shifted badly, and Dawson would do NOTHING about it. They literally said, Dr. Rykiss was retiring and not practicing in their office and wanted me to pay $5500 to reshift THE TOOTH. This was because the ortho was not "their file" but Rykiss'. Huh? So, After paying premium for treatment to them , unbenknownst to me they didn't consider him "their Dr., even though I was their patient who asked them for invisalign, consulted with them, all treatment was paid to "Dawson" and done at Dawson, and fully facilitated at Dawson. This was the straw that broke the camels back so I moved dentists. BUT It is also worth noting that on my last appointment, just I had xrays done there and nothing was noted, yet when I had them transferred the images to my new dentist a few months later, they showed 2 cavities, one of which is rather deep. They clearly showed on the xray. So basically the xrays at Dawson as part of the regular cleaning, were PAID FOR but not looked at. Perfect example of the incompetence. Also, the cross-selling of services has always pushy, .... The only reason we stayed with them was because of one hygenist Ann Marie who was awesome, but otherwise, my husband wouldn't go because it was too painful from others who turnover regularly there . No exaggeration. I cannot recommend them for anything. They are the puppy-mill of dental clinics.

Unfortunately I just had to have that root canal redone at a cost of $1200 because there was residual infection that was not cleared and insurance doesn't cover very much of a root canal re-do. I have been taking my kids to Dentistry 4 Kids for the past 3.5 years. My daughter needed 14 cavities (seven which were caps, really soft teeth but we didn't find out her first xray) done at the age of 3. And my son (who is 3 and has no cavities. Lol) recently had a bad fall when he couch jumping (like super man). My daughter went under anesthesia to get her done, no major issues afterwards. My son on the other hand fell and had significant damage to his front teeth on March 28. We had taken his to a walk in clinic, another dentist, and the emergency room in Ajax hospital after his fall all of which discharged him saying there was nothing wrong. The hospital gave him antibiotics, but no further follow up. Two days after the antibiotics, his mouth was still infection so I called dentistry for kids and they took him the same day. He saw Dr. Divya Chandra and she took a side xray and noticed exactly what had happened. He had knocked his front tooth forward and severed the nerve. She had to remove them immediately but this saved him for an emergency surgery at sick kids. Dr Divya Chandra was in contact with me on my cell phone on her days off checking in on Logan wanting pictures daily. She had wanted me to see a oral surgeon very soon after his teeth were removed. Even on her day of she spent hours on the phone with sick kids trying to get my son seen. She did get us in to see a recommended surgeon from sick kids the following day at 9am. I was not impressed with him at all, i called their office and they had my son booked into another surgeon that works out of sick kids that has a private office after hours in my area the same day!!! I could go on and on. I work in the healthcare industry, I see a lot of people just doing their jobs but at dentistry for kids they really care. They go above and beyond to help. I dont know how long my son would have suffered if they did not help him. And as a mother, they heard my voice and trusted it! Even the receptions made me smile on all of our hard days. Their faces made all the hard appointments easier. It brings tears to my eyes writing this. I hope maybe I can help another mother going threw what I did.

I'm live in Vancouver. About 10 years ago I had lost an inlay while in Toronto. I researched over…read morethe Internet and went to Dr. Waldman's office, desite a 20 minute drive from my downtown hotel. I was very professionally and quickly taken care of by a dental assistant. It was Dr. Waldman's day off. However, I learned a lot about their practice, and I was very impressed. Over the 10 years I continue to be more impressed and I have never let another dentist look in my mouth since. So compared to most I've had at least 20 visits over the 10 years and never a bad experience. Quite the opposite. I have given dozens of referrals to friends and business associates. I call Dr. Waldman the World's Best Dentist, and she really is in my opinion. She is totally up to date in technology and procedures. The freezing is fast. The office is always on time and I am fast in and out. What is quite impressive is that she can do a crown in an one hour and 40 minutes using a camera computer and a 3-D printer machine in the other room. No temporary, no second visit. Of that one hour and 40 minutes I get to go shopping for 40 minutes. The quality and fit of the crowns has been perfect and they have never broken. Neither of that is true compared to the crowns that she has had to replace because they have broken. In the spring of 2014, I had veneers put on my 4 front teeth. I've had trouble over the years because of damage from a bike accident when I was 16 years old. Since then all I get are compliments compliment compliments. Recently I had my teeth whitened and I've had some updates to that whitening and they look fantastic. I so much love smiling in my pictures again! Also, I swear I get 25 smiles back per day from the opposite gender just walking around downtown Toronto. But I digress. I do get my teeth cleaned in Vancouver between visits to Toronto. My hygienist always comments that she has to triple check that veneers or crowns from Dr. Waldman are not real. She keeps saying how excellent the work is and she's never seen anything like it. The support staff at her office always look after me and I can email to make appointments. They do everything to accommodate my schedule. Now, I have some of the reviews about her style perhaps not being touchy-feely. I've had touchy-feely dentists and guess what -- they screwed up my teeth. Now Dr. Waldman has to fix them. But even more than that I had to laugh. I have a best friend who I call the World's Best Surgeon. Pretty much all other doctors I have name dropped to agree. Guess what? The online reviews of Dr. Waldman are almost identical to that surgeon. One of my common jokes is, who do you want at the controls of the plane if there's a problem -- experience or intelligence (i.e. Sully)? If you are on the operating table and there is a problem who you want as a doctor -- experience or intelligence? The the correct answer is of course both. You want the most intelligent and most experienced doctor or pilot. This is what you want in your dentist. That is Dr. Waldman -- experience, intelligent, talented, and always keeping up-to-date with the latest techniques and technology. And let me reemphasize talent because that's something that is on top of experience and intelligence. I don't you work with less than a millimetre and get it perfect. Oh, if you need a hug, get a dog.
