I've been trying to work it out with my insurance and in that time they sent the bill to collections. My OB-GYN referred me to them and I wish she hadn't.

Street parking can be difficult. The facility feels well-maintained, safe, and well-resourced. The staff members are welcoming and friendly. The care team here is patient, kind, reliable, caring and understanding. The patients are approximately 70% White, 10% Asian, 15% Hispanic, and 5% African American. Around 65% were born in the USA and had moved to the U.S. before age 12, 70% came from highly educated families, and 65% are financially well off. This location was very busy and there was a moderate amount of noise. You check in either on the kiosk or with the receptionist. I started to check in with the front desk who was friendly and helpful. After checking in you just wait to be called. Most of the time they are on time. Even when they were behind schedule, I had to wait for a little while. Once you get called you go to a room to be prepped for whatever imaging you are going for. Then, you wait in that room until they are ready to do the imaging. Everyone was attentive and accommodating. I am pleased with the quality of care here and feel comfortable coming here. The Radiologists look at your images thoroughly. Even though I am the only Asian person here for the majority of the time, I have felt welcomed, safe, respected, and supported, especially as a person with a disability in this healthcare environment. As a person with a degree who values quality healthcare, I appreciate the professionalism and level of care I've experienced here. Overall, I highly recommend this NYU Langone facility if you're looking for imaging care.

They are efficient, kind and very professional. My problem is the correspondence regarding preparation for the test and contacting my test location by phone to ask questions. I had an appointment for 11:30am scan and was told I had to be there 10:40am. All I had to remove was my bra! I was in with the cardiologist until 10:50am so it really didn't matter that I was late. I was stressed out for nothing. When I called the number I was given for radiology I didn't know I had a general employee who is in a call station. She referred me back to my location and couldn't even give me the phone number or connect me. As my treatment progresses I hope I have kind gentle care and they don't stress me out. Medical problems are stressfully enough. Four Stars for location and staff.

Despite calling twice before my appointment to confirm everything, I was told upon arrival that I would not be seen for what should have been a routine appointment. This manager (Njama Terry) dismissive, and spoke to me in a disrespectful manner rather than trying to resolve the issue professionally. In addition, the office was running over an hour behind schedule, with little communication or apology for the delay. Instead of demonstrating empathy or offering solutions that are constructive, the customer service I received was poor from start to finish. Overall, the office appeared disorganized and poorly managed due to this person. Patients deserve to be treated with respect, especially after taking the time to confirm their appointments in advance. I hope management addresses these issues by improving communication, professionalism, and the overall patient experience.

Yesterday was a cold windy day. No matter since a mammogram and sonogram were scheduled. I've been…read moreusing Lenox Hill Radiology for the past 16 years approximately. I've had my ups and downs in this area of preventative medicine. Too much info for this review. After a mix up with an appointment I was fed up and stopped going in my later years. So now the torch has been passed to my daughter. She also has what they call dense breast tissue. In the past couple years she has been followed up more frequently. This type of breast tissue requires a mammogram and sonogram annually. She was given a Saturday appointment at 12:10pm. After the mammogram she was told she needed to return because the doctor doesn't work on Saturdays and needs to do the sonogram. Now she must take off from work and return this week. Why did they schedule it for this time? Plus they close at 1pm on Saturdays! Not enough time scheduled for both tests. Bottom line here are the good points: 1. Professional technicians. 2. Convenient Locations. 3. Accepts all types of insurance. 4. They were good at keeping my medical history. 5. Billing department pretty easy to work with. DOWN SIDE Issues with communication between locations. Miscommunication regarding appointments. I arrived the day of my last appointment only to be told I had cancelled it the day before. IT WASN'T ME that cancelled it. After that I felt insecure about the safety of their information system. PS They did see me that day but I had to verify all my information again. They should have known it wasn't me that cancelled my original appointment! This location: 1. The waiting area is a lot smaller but it's bright and new. Only radiology patients in this area and lots of sanitizer around. 2. Reception employee was very nice. 3. Good suggestion from technician. The technician says she usually brings a little travel deodorant with her which is a good idea. Especially if you're going somewhere after the test!!
