Unfortunately, I'm only giving 3 stars because there seemed to some kind of mix up with whether I was getting a bikini OR Brazilian laser hair removal. I understand different places categorize things differently (i.e. French bikini, Hollywood bikini, Brazilian, etc.) which is why I stated bikini/Brazilian in my text and also during the consultation. I never explicitly stated only bikini, I said both. It was not only until AFTER the session was done was I told the full cost for the Brazilian which is $500 total. I paid the difference because I've already completed my first session and felt like there was no choice. But what if I could not afford to pay the difference? What then? If I had known the price initially, I would have shopped around more. There are definitely places that are more affordable. While not everything is about the price, the service is. I also work as a manager in the service industry and when there is a misunderstanding, I always ensure to make it up to the customer to the best of my ability and inform them before we proceed with any service. While I was not expecting a discount or anything, I did expect better tact. I had planned to recommend this place to my friends and family because everyone was so kind and it was what I thought as very affordable, but I unfortunately will not be due to the lack of service acuity. I'd recommend calling before you go -- even if you already made an appointment online. I booked a lash extension appointment online for 4:45 PM and even received a confirmation message. When I arrived, the lash salon was completely closed. I called the number listed on Yelp, and the lady told me the lash artist would arrive in 15 minutes, but I ended up waiting almost 40 minutes. While I was getting my lashes done, another customer arrived for her 6 PM appointment, but there wasn't another lash artist available. She was told the wait time would be 1.5 hours, so she ended up having to cancel and reschedule her appointment. This honestly showed poor scheduling and communication. As for the lash quality, I've had lash extensions many times before and followed all aftercare instructions carefully -- no water for 24 hours, no oily skincare or makeup, and no rubbing or pulling lashes. Despite that, my lashes started falling out almost immediately. In less than a week, around 70% of the lashes had already fallen out. The design was also uneven. The lash artist finished my left eye first, then while working on my right eye, she randomly went back and added more to the left side, which made the wispy style look uneven and unnatural.
