Attended a fundraising event here today and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was awesome, the service was great and the ambiance was lively. Music playing, TV's on. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive. I ordered the mini tacos, 2 fajita and 3 tripa. The fajita was tender and seasoned nicely. The tripas were crunchy and cooked perfectly the way I liked them. The fajita nachos looked very good. Nice presentation. The beans lacked flavor and salt but were ok and cooked soft. The only downside was the red hot sauce. It was watery and lacked flavor. The green sauce was awesome. Great variety of items available including breakfast in the evening. I would recommend trying this place out. I wasn't expecting all this from such a small place but I am impressed. Plenty of parking available. My friend and I found this small pop and mom shop while looking for a new spot. We walked inside and the atmosphere is clean and quaint. We ordered fajita and Barbacoa tacos. The tacos are $8.00 for 5. The price is reasonable. The wait time was a bit longer than usual, but it's because they are making the tortillas and it's handmade. I think they are doing an amazing job, and their food is delicious! I would give them a higher rating if their time was a little faster considering we were the only ones there. Overall, it's an amazing place for tacos that people should try out! Their menu is limited, but it's good food. If you are in the area, you should definitely stop for a taco. read more

However, my friends huevos rancheros were bomb. My waitress was the only one working and she had about 5-6 tables and so she seemed overwhelmed at times. Swung by with my son Jay and had breakfast at our favorite place, Primos and got the usual 2 bacon and egg and 2 brisket quesadillas and let me say. The beans and tortillas alone taste just like my grandma used to make fresh, tasty and with love. The bacon was crispy and eggs fluffy . Now the Brisket was on another level. It was Slow smoked and had so much flavor and just delicious. I can't say anything bad about this place except they should be open 24-7 so We can get tacos in the middle of the night. You are better off making yourself a ,50 cents ramen noodle at home than ordering their so called birria ramen for the crazy high price of $7.99, literally no birria meat was in the soup. Called the restaurant and asked if they had forgotten to put the meat and the lady said they put a very minimal amount that it dissolves, had never heard such thing of meat dissolving in a soup. CANNED BEANS??!! OH Nooo.. Tried this place out today. I had the bacon and egg taco along with a brisket and egg. First the positives. The scrambled eggs and bacon were great. Very flavourful, yea I know not hard to get eggs and bacon right but some places have trouble with that. The tortilla was also fresh and hot. As far as the reasons for trying a different place... The tortilla was fresh but bland. The brisket taco may have been great if I never had one from Pappas BBQ but I have and their taco is not only superior in every way with the exception of the tortilla but also cheaper. Lastly the canned beans yikes. There's no excuse for this. Beans are CHEAP lol You are in a predominantly Hispanic neighborhood. The fact that I didn't see many Hispanics in the location is probably attributed to THAT we are definitely picky about our beans. It's a good place but you can get a comparable, more authentic, cheaper taco at any Mexican meat market (of which this area has plenty), and even for their specialty tacos there are better options. 3 stars. read more
