Attended a fundraising event here today and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was awesome, the service was great and the ambiance was lively. Music playing, TV's on. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive. I ordered the mini tacos, 2 fajita and 3 tripa. The fajita was tender and seasoned nicely. The tripas were crunchy and cooked perfectly the way I liked them. The fajita nachos looked very good. Nice presentation. The beans lacked flavor and salt but were ok and cooked soft. The only downside was the red hot sauce. It was watery and lacked flavor. The green sauce was awesome. Great variety of items available including breakfast in the evening. I would recommend trying this place out. I wasn't expecting all this from such a small place but I am impressed. Plenty of parking available. I will come back again to try something different.

Wow! I found my new favorite Mexican restaurant! Great food! Great atmosphere! Beautiful waitress! They had three TV's going while I was there and all three had great movies going. Between the three good movies and the wait staff, It was hard to decide which one to watch. I had the 4 birria tacos. They were great, but next time I think I'll try a different dish. Hasta luego Primos!

My friend and I found this small pop and mom shop while looking for a new spot. We walked inside and the atmosphere is clean and quaint. We ordered fajita and Barbacoa tacos. The tacos are $8.00 for 5. The price is reasonable. The wait time was a bit longer than usual, but it's because they are making the tortillas and it's handmade. I think they are doing an amazing job, and their food is delicious! I would give them a higher rating if their time was a little faster considering we were the only ones there. Overall, it's an amazing place for tacos that people should try out! Their menu is limited, but it's good food. If you are in the area, you should definitely stop for a taco.

The food is authentic and delicious. The service makes you feel like your at home. The tacos are like no other. I repeat you cannot find these tacos at a taco stand. The sauce is perfect.

Swung by with my son Jay and had breakfast at our favorite place, Primos and got the usual 2 bacon and egg and 2 brisket quesadillas and let me say. The beans and tortillas alone taste just like my grandma used to make fresh, tasty and with love. The bacon was crispy and eggs fluffy . Now the Brisket was on another level. It was Slow smoked and had so much flavor and just delicious. I can't say anything bad about this place except they should be open 24-7 so We can get tacos in the middle of the night. And have a rewards program so we all can get free tacos!!!! Keep up the good work Primos.

Pretty good tacos! It took a while to get our food but tacos were fresh. Not sure if tortillas were scratch but they had a tender texture and good flavor.

Salsa is flavorful. Flautas are decent. Quesabirria tacos were mostly cheese and not much flavor. Definitely better places in the area.

Try the brisket taco or even the chirzo. The tortilla was homemade . For the taste and quality of these tacos I would love to return.

Has to be the best Brisket Tacos within 100 miles. I drive from The Woodlands down to Pasadena just to enjoy those breakfast tacos!

Good breakfast, similar to cooking at the house. Fast friendly service. Good spot to stop when in the area.

Needed something before our movie and this place popped up. I noticed it was really little and I…read morelike hidden gems. I am so glad I picked this place. It looks like they just had the inside redone. It's small but very clean. We got the Pastor baked potato and quesabirria tacos with a Mexican coke and pink guava again Fresca. The potato was way bigger than I anticipated and SOOOO good! The birria tacos were excellent. There was only one waiter but for the size of the place he was the only one needed. He was very nice and let me taste the agua Fresca before deciding because I wasn't sure if I would like it. It was so good! I am already looking forward to going back. The price for everything was good and the food was excellent!!

El Tostaco Regio is a hidden gem here in Pasadena. They had some of the best birria dishes I've…read moreever had! It's a small place, so it's not ideal for large gatherings and they're easy to miss. El Tostaco Regio does not serve typical Mexican cuisine. Their food is what you would find served on the streets of Mexico. So there's no refried beans, rice or a queso plate here. Most of their dishes comes with beans and a cup of broth. Their food is served fresh, but messy. Everything they make is packed with flavor, but not overpowered by spices. The tables have three complimentary sauces you can try with your dishes. If your other party is not in the mood for Mexican, El Tostaco Regio also have burgers and baked potatoes. Their menu is bilingual, thankfully. The staff are patient and kind. Prices are affordable. I will say that their AC system could've been better, considering we're in Summer now. They only have only bathroom. Aside from a TV playing Latino music, there's no decor inside at all. My major issue is that El Tostaco Regio is NOT wheelchair accessible. That's completely unacceptable!
