We were a bit disappointed because I had received an email that it was drift night, but when we arrived it had actually been the night before. Marketing really needs to have accurate messaging going out. I double checked the email to see if I'd read it right and it indeed had the wrong night listed. Kids were super bummed, but decided to go out and drive and still had a great time. The track was a tad slippery still from drift night so they actually had a few tiny drift moments. They have food and drinks available for reasonable prices. Mostly pub type food, as well as snacks and candy. Lots of nonalcoholic and alcoholic beverages available. There's a pool table and other games in an arcade area. Plenty of seating options. I love that electric carts are available, as I don't miss having to breathe in fumes with the former gas carts. Yay for technology! Plenty of parking out front. You can register to play online before you arrive or at the door.

You can pre register online and just check in upon arrival. You're immediately assigned a host to guide you through the event. In the beginning the process was a bit confusing but it all got sorted out by the time the race began. All drivers got a safety instruction. Then guided to 2 guys to help with helmet fitting. Birthday girl was girl in line as cars weee assigned to everyone in the party. There is a place to sit and watch the racers doing their laps. The 1st lap took some getting used to. But since it was a private track time for the party, there were no unnecessary public interactions crashing cars into each other. Safety first which I really appreciated. The girls had a complete blast once they figured out how the cars drove. There was a short 20 min break in between laps where they were given drink cards and game cards to use $10 ea. The second lap was the one that counts and who won 1st 2nd 3rd place. In the end everyone received a certificate and got to stand on the podium for pics. We brought our own cake. K1 provided the sliders and pretzel dogs and utensils plates. The party section was spacious and clean. Loved the decor. Great for older kids and adults as some of the parents, kids at heart, had to refrain from joining in on the party. Many of the kids weren't able to use their game card as we ran out of time. The kids saved it for their next visit. I would recommend this place for parties or a night out or even team building event.

"Ice cream in the morning...because I ran? YES, PLEASE and I'll be back tomorrow too!"…read more This past 4th of July, I took a lesson from our country's forefathers and became independent of a negative thought I've had for quite some time. Due to knee injuries from school yard basketball, ankle injuries from pure clumsiness, and just lack of physical endurance, I have never really liked to run. But exactly one year ago today, I made a promise to myself to workout more and eventually try to run a short race. On Independence Day, I made good on this promise. In preparation for the LIVESTRONG run (Support Team YELP! - http://www.yelp.com/events/san-jose-dyf-destroy-your-fat-livestrong-challenge-in-san-jose), I decided to run a practice 5K just to see what it was like running 3.1 miles outside. Waking up at dawn and after taking the morning poop, I head out to a very organized staging area. The staff and the volunteers were very helpful and friendly. With a ton of race day registrants, they were also super efficient at getting everyone through. Music was being played to pump up the runners as well. All of a sudden though, I hear someone on the loud speaker say: "10 minutes until the start! Please make your way to the starting line!" Nervousness, anxiousness, and excitement all began to rush through my body. Making my way to the start area, I just kept thinking "All I need to do is finish." The gun shoots off and I find myself amidst a pack of moving people. Overall the course is very flat and has people guiding everyone through the route. Split time markers were located at every mile, so you could gauge how fast you were going. The only thing that confused me was that you couldn't tell which times were for the 10K runners and the 5K runners (the 10K folks started a few minutes earlier). When I crossed the finish line, I was welcomed by a cheering crowd, ice cream, popsicles, bagels, muffins, oranges, bananas, and sports drinks. Today, I found out officially my time and place (136th place and 27:52). I've never been so happy to finish in 136th place. Overall, this was a great beginner run and I had a good time. Tips - *If you are a beginner runner like me, its important to get shoes that fit your gait. I'm overpronated and ran with neutral shoes, which really messed up my knees. Hit up a running shoe store or Sportsbasement and get the right shoes. You won't regret it.

I just ran the 4th of July 10K…read more This is a nice "small town" race. It's very simple; no chips, the 10K is just a double loop of the 5K, having to find a place to store your t-shirts because there is no pre-registration, and it took forever for the pictures to be posted. But it was nice. Sometimes the larger, more crowded races are overwhelming and too time consuming. The race started at 8:15 and we got there at 7:15 but really didn't need to be there until 7:45 or later. It wasn't crowded, and we could move around and easily got out of the crowd and found a nice running pace quickly. My biggest issue was that it overlapped the Town of Danville parade so I wasn't able to attend the parade with my husband and kids. I REALLY want to do this race next year but unless it's an hour earlier or the parade is an hour later, I don't think I'll be able to. I did come in 3rd in my age group though and that always feels good especially when you just took a year off of running.

We brought 11 rowdy boys and fully expected chaos. Instead, we had a smooth, organized, and genuinely fun experience. Jared explained everything clearly, kept the group engaged, and managed the energy with patience and confidence. What really stood out was his tact. A few kids became overstimulated, and he handled it with such calm reassurance and professionalism. He struck that perfect balance of being fun while maintaining structure, which is not easy with that age group. It's rare to see someone manage that level of energy so skillfully. Management should absolutely recognize him. He represents your brand beautifully. We will definitely be back!

This was a nice gesture. We booked our time and we returned 6 mins late. Then this was when we were told we are too late so we can get a store credit or rebook. The excuse was other people in our group has already started. We didn't doubt this at the time but they have a website to look up scores of the day and we were the only ones playing this game at the San Ramon location. Not sure why we couldn't play then if we were the only ones playing anyways. We rebooked for later the same day after dinner and arrived 30 mins early. It turns out we need to sign waivers and prep time before playing. This should have been basic information given to us or at least let us know we should arrive earlier than your booked time in order to play. Just thinking logically I would want clients to prefill these out prior to their reservations. This would create less friction at start time. The crew setting us up for playtime were very helpful though and after playing they gave us a nice recap experience of our game. This was a nice touch but I wish they would have told us how the photos would be used more clearly. I wasn't even ready when taking my photo and halfway through a blink. The kids liked the game play but adults didn't have a good time. It was dizzying and exhausting to play for me and my wife and $50 a person for such an experience seems high. Would probably stay away and try to convince my kids to do the same.

Before contacting Ol Skool & LS Motorsports, I previously contacted several other shops in which I was told they didn't want to take on the work for a Harley Sportser, which was pretty frustrating. Lawrence, the owner, was willing to take it on--and I'm really glad he did. He replaced the rocker box top seals and push rod gaskets, rebuilt and tuned the carburetor to match my exhaust and S&S intake, and re-gasketed the air intake system. He also tracked down and fixed both an oil leak and a separate gas leak from the carburetor. Since getting the bike back, it's been running great. What stood out most to me was how easy Lawrence was to work with. He stayed in touch throughout the whole process, kept me updated, and explained things in a way that actually made sense. His pricing was very fair too, especially considering the amount of work that went into it. If you've got a bike that other shops won't touch or can't figure out, I'd definitely recommend Ol Skool & LS Motorsports. Lawrence knows his stuff and takes care of his customers. I'll be going back for any future work. - G
