Ordered delivery, so not in a position to simply ask for my food to be remade. Paid $21 for a $12-13 sandwich, again for convenience. Tried this place again with a whole veggie diablo and they missed the key toppings of broccoli raab and long hot peppers. Also forgot onions that I requested. Crazy that they can charge $35 for a whole sandwich that doesn't even have all the toppings in the description. It was mostly a dry, bready sandwich without much flavor or "diablo". read more

I feel like I never had a really good Primos experience no matter the location. I'll stick to this location. This was my first time coming here. My office has been across the street for two years and I usually order from Other local places. I was picking up my dry cleaning and thought I'd give it a whirl. I walk in and stand at the counter. No one acknowledges me. There was a worker restocking or cleaning and saw me. He walked away and said "customer!!" not too loudly but enough to get the cashier's attention. She came out of nowhere and finally helped me. I ordered a small turkey and Swiss with Mayo, lettuce and tomato. My mistake because I love the seeded rolls and I forgot you don't get them with the small. It was a lot of lettuce and not much else. My general comment across all Primos is you don't get much meat or cheese. It was underwhelming and did not help my craving. I do have some positives. Once I was finally waited on, the woman was very nice and helpful. They were super quick for a walk in at lunch. Although that's not really a good sign because most places in the area have long wait times at lunch. The place seemed clean. They have a huge space where they could have tables but I guess it's still closed off from covid?!!! read more

This is by far my favorite Primo Hoagies location. My dad got me hooked on this spot many years ago. One of our favorite things about this spot is the seeded bread that they make their Primo sized hoagies on. The place is clean and spacious although I never dine in. Service is quick, accurate and friendly. I was really hoping to give 5 stars today but I was a bit disappointed with my Tuna Diablo today. They Kung man that prepared left huge chunks of tuna on the hoagie. Usually it chopped up nicely and the Mayo mixed in well. Unfortunately not today. The worst ever I ordered a meatball sandwich two of them I got home. I tasted one of them. The meatballs tasted sour. I asked them can I bring it back and can I get something else instead maybe a hoagie in place they said they don't do no type of refund I said that's fine. Primo Hoagies is the best chain restaurant for what is called either a hoagie, sub, submarine sandwich, grinder and probably a hundred different names depending on what part of the country you are from. This unique style of sandwich is my favorite type sandwich and ever since being introduced to Primo Hoagies I knew that I found what places like Subway or Larry's can only aspire to be. One of the biggest reasons that I love Primo Hoagies so much is that many of their subs have an emphasis on cured meats. Many parts of the country do not really understand the culinary wonder of meats like soppressatta and other meats beyond pepperoni can offer, but not only does Primo Hoagies get it, but they excel at incorporating those wonderful meats into even more wonderful sandwiches. A favorite add on here is the cherry peppers stuffed with prosciutto and provolone. These things are truly addictive. Oh, just a bit of warning, if you are unfamiliar with how sharp that sharp provolone is, be warned, it is definitely not for everyone. I definitely recommend this sub shop, as I recommend most of their locations. Make sure you try one of their fantastic subs. read more

I was skeptical ordering from this location based on the prior reviews; however, I am happy to report that I had a lovely experience and no issues with the food or my order. The sandwiches were perfectly stuffed with no skimping on ingredients. I ordered online and was greeted with a warm welcoming greeting and smile from the Cashier. My order was made correctly and quite tasty. I will definitely consider ordering from this location next time for sure. Hopefully others will have better experiences soon! read more

Totally should have read the reviews first. My wife ordered the "Nellie" thinking it was a hot sandwich. Wrong. Menu doesn't have a way to tell which sandwiches are hot so just assume it's cold. We love Primo hoagies but when you cannot place an order at lunch time you really need to examine your business practices. Called Primo 12:45 to place an order for pickup up, the first call, I was hung up on or placed on a indefinite hold with no communication. Called back, greeted, and put on an indefinite hold. Hung up and ate elsewhere in the same shopping center. If the store is that busy you have a dedicated person to answer the phone taking orders during busy periods. This place desperately needs a manager who can help direct his employees to better service the amount of customers and orders they receive. It was chaos today around 1:00, 9 people waiting including a Doordash and GrubHub who were getting angry that they were waiting for 40 minutes. There were seven employees, possibly a new employee running a register. I heard a phone call come in saying that they were given the wrong sandwich as well. My sandwiches are always amazing, however I have to say this time there was barely any turkey, one slice of cheese and no mayo even though it was requested. I ordered a Hoagie from PrimoHoagies in Mount Laurel, NJ on 4/1/2024. There was a $9.99 promotion going on for a Primo size hoagie. I ordered thru the app and it showed the price as $9.99 but when I received the confirmation email it said I was charged full price of $13.99. I immediately called the store and told the girl I spoke with I didn't get the promo price and wanted to cancel the order. She assured me she would give my info to her boss and he would credit my account the $4.00. I went to the store to pickup my Hoagie within 10 minutes and asked the girl at the counter if she was the one I spoke with and she said no, she thinks that girl left. I had to again explain the situation and told her if I wasn't going to get the promo price I wanted to cancel the order. She too assured me that she would take my info and give it to her boss and he would have the $4.00 credited to my account. She also said she heard there was an issue with the app not giving the promo price. A few hours later I received a call from a guy named Chris from Primos and he seemed very apologetic and said he said he would have my account credited the $4.00 but it would take a few days to see it in my account. I actually believed he would take care of the situation. Unfortunately, it's been 14 days and I still haven't received the credit or any follow up from anyone at Primos. It's obvious these promos are nothing but scams and they're just out to get your money. I just chalked it up as extremely poor customer service. PrimoHoagies obviously needs the $4.00 more than I do and they can keep it. I'm done wasting my time with them. Just want to let all know to BEWARE!!!!!!! read more

Another customer came in ordered and had their sandwich done in a few mins and was handed their sandwich. The employee also asked the customer if she was charged for her drink. Customer said yes and the employee rolled her eyes and told her to take chips or a salad for free. Obviously the employee knew her... after waiting for another 5 mins I over hear one of the kitchen staff say is the door dash order ready he is waiting. The same female kitchen staff that handed the sandwich to her friend (other customer) says " I put it on the DoorDash shelf, he can figure it out". What appeared to be the head of the kitchen staff then came out to tell me that my sandwich was on the DoorDash shelf. I thanked him and left. Overall I have always enjoyed primos hoagies (this location) and the sandwich itself was great but the customer service and interaction or lack there of from one rude employee will make me go to the other location in Medford. I got so aggravated literally waited almost 20 minutes for two nine inch sandwiches. I could literally see these two young kids moving like molasses and I am not like that honest to god I don't ever complain but this was like a joke. After a long day of work this was the icing on the "long day" cake. When I finally get home I open up the wrapper and of course NO LETTUCE, TOMATO, OR ROASTED RED PEPPER. I am not sure what is going here but I have frequented this location for the last five years and have noticed the quality slipping. The last couple of hoagies I have had just didn't have the flavor that I have experianced in the past.
