At first, I was hesitant to join Prestige and was unsure of the program, but I felt comfort in knowing that I was being supported in my studies. My friend in the class unfortunately had a situation with another student regarding race. After informing Mr. C, swift disciplinary action was taken, which demonstrated my instructors' zero tolerance stance on discrimination. I want to personally thank Mr. C and Ms. Celia for standing up to unfair prejudice against minorities. I truly cannot say enough about Ms. Celia! As our clinical instructor, she got to know each and every one of us personally and had so many 1:1 teaching moments that I have never experienced before. She truly cared about course material, but most importantly, she cared about us personally, beyond our education. After graduation, I set my standards high and applied to one singular position, confident in my skills from her teachings. I was offered the role with no prior CNA work experience, and my peers and superiors were surprised with my base knowledge from day one. I now work at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, one of the top hospitals in the country, and I wouldn't have been able to do so without the instruction from Ms. Celia. Thank you so much for everything and I will forever be grateful! That being said, Prestige's administration could use some work......

BIG SHOUT OUT MS. RUTHY AND MS. DIAZ !!! Anyways, Attending…read moreUEI Huntington Park was one of the most important decisions I've ever made, and I can honestly say I wouldn't be where I am today without Ms. Yvonne Diaz and Ms. Ruthy Rodriguez. They changed my life in ways they will probably never fully understand. From the moment I walked into admissions, Ruthy made me feel seen, heard, and capable. She pushed me to believe in myself when I didn't. She reminded me of my worth, encouraged me through every doubt, and kept her door open for me every single time I needed support. She made me feel like my dream of entering the healthcare field wasn't just possible--it was meant for me. I will always be grateful for that. Ms. Diaz was the instructor every student dreams of having. Her patience, kindness, and dedication never failed. She believed in me on the days I struggled and taught me everything I needed to know to walk confidently into my externship. Because of her, I didn't just show up--I succeeded. Thanks to these two incredible women, I graduated with honors, earned an Ambassador medal, passed my NHA certification, and I am now working full time at one of the best hospitals in California with world-renowned surgeons. I am proud, I am certified, and above all, I am happy. And it's because they helped me become the version of myself I always wanted to be. My experience at UEI Huntington Park was amazing overall, but I do want to respectfully mention one thing I wish had been different: the Career Services Center. The support I received was very underwhelming, and the communication, at least in my experience, did not meet my expectations. I felt like to them I was just a number and not a future healthcare worker. I actually found my own externship site, not my career service rep, which was disappointing considering what students are told to expect. And when they finally did give me a site less than 2 weeks before I was supposed to go off to externship it was a 2 star clinic 20 miles away from me. Even with that, I am forever thankful for the people who truly showed up for me. Ms. Diaz and Ms. Ruthy, you helped me change my life, and I will never forget that.

Leave a message if it's important. What kind of professional are you? I bet you get a good commission from taking peoples money... Glad I looked into other colleges before signing up with UEI. You should feel ashamed of the way you try to get people to sign up just for your bank account to grow.

I just got my check for all the money I that was taken from my taxes don't pay off the debt or else you won't be able to get that money back. However, I'm rating this TWO STARS for a reason…read more I'm going to explain my experience professionally and diplomatically as possible to hopefully STOP another "Millennial" or a fresh 18year old from making this fatal MISTAKE! I went to this campus back in 2012. Actually started at the "old" HWOOD/WESTERN campus, which one day just mysteriously "closed" and the staff just as confused as the student's were, only had a paper saying"We're moving to the Huntington Park location" (red flag!) Ok no big deal. At this time I was really, really invested in trying to learn how to be "successful" and decided to roll with the punches and finished my Medical Assistant Class at Huntington. This school is AWESOME at the art of BRAINWASHING. Also when you sign up, it's a HUGE loan for classes and I remember it didn't matter what class you took. You HAD to pay/take out a large loan. Which the counselors explain to you like they work for "FOX NEWS" meaning vaguely explaining exactly how the loans work. After 9 months I "Graduated" and had that fresh outta school hope that all "Millennial's" had. Even got a small externship (On my own. School said they will do that but THEY DON'T) and quickly realized that this school DID NOT PREPARE ME AS THEY PROMISE FOR THE WORKFORCE. Leaving me without a job that I actually went to school for. A FEW QUICK POINTS: 1. Change the AD'S!! The School writes checks that they are unable to cash. Leaving A LOT of people feeling unremembered and screwed over. 2. I say this with love. BY NO MEANS AM I BEING RACIST. However, the school should better explain the field that the student would like to study. I have an example; I choose the Medical Field. I even had a "Black" instructor who has worked in the field. Which is cool. But when I got to my externship I realized the IMPORTANCE of being Bilingual. With all the money the school makes, maybe consider adding some language classes? I pretty much realized that I'm not going to be a MA because I don't speak another language and honestly I'm a "young" black kid just out of school. Not TOO many employers are going to hire me. I'll end this now with some good vibes. The campus at Huntington is actually DOPE. It "feels" like school but you still know your in the hood. I liked it. Loved my instructors. Loved the MA course. Got to "LEARN" life lessons. Which is true. Way more valuable than some paper. Thanks and good luck to you all.
