We worked with Julia Xelas to both sell our co-op and buy a new house. I strongly recommend her because she'd gone way above and beyond to help us in the selling and buying process. She is very professional and yet personable. Our co-op was sold within one open house, and at a better price than we hoped for. (given the economy) In the buying process, she helped us with all the tough questions, and made us feel very comfortable whether we are making an offer or withdrawing one. Tried to work with Alina to just view an apartment. After some back and forth on just seeing the place, we made an appointment for the next day. She had an attitude and seemed off from the beginning but I decided to look past it. The next day, she decided to start calling and texting repeatedly before the appointment. She wanted some basic information but the whole thing was really inappropriate. She made me feel so uncomfortable because she called even after I told her I couldn't speak. She came off like a control freak or a drug addict who need what she needed right now. When I didn't oblige her right away she decided to cancel the appointment. A really inconsiderate and passive aggressive thing to do since I had to go out of my way to get my husband and older mother to make a time frame work for the realtors schedule. To top it off she was pretty condescending. She doesn't seem to understand that she should be working for her customers. It doesn't work the other way around. I am glad she won't be earning a fee from us today or in the future. Don't do business with her if you can help it. From my experience you can expect her to waste at least your time and patience. read more

I was so unfortunate to have to deal with one of their agents, Xiao Wu (Katie) Qu who is very unprofessional and unorganized. I called her to set up a Saturday appointment during the weekday and she confirmed immediately during our initial conversation that the property is set to be viewed at our scheduled time. At first, I find it odd why she confirmed so quickly but I just assumed the property is vacant and she had the keys readily available. I specially told her I will be coming from Brooklyn and she rest assured that I will be able to see the property during that time. I was told I just need to call her an hour before the appointment. On the day of the appointment, I followed her instructions and called an hour before and she seemed to experience Alzheimer's and did not remember our conversation from just t a few days ago. After a few minutes, she pretended to remember who I was and said she will call me back in a few minutes. 10 minutes past, as I am already on the highway driving to Queens, I called again as I did not hear back, she admitted the seller didn't pick up her calls and she needs to see if the seller is even available. I questioned why she agreed to the scheduled time (hence the word scheduled) without even setting up the appointment with the seller. Mind you I called 5 days in advance of the appointment so she had plenty of time to confirm with the seller. She then proceeded to tell me that the seller is an elderly person (80+ years old). What does the seller's age have anything to do with her being unorganized? When I challenged her statement she proceeded to change the subject and started rambling about the pricing of the property - she assumed I was a developer and wanted to tear down the property as it was currently a 1 family in a 2 family zoning. First, as a person who is interested in the property, I am perfectly aware of the cost - otherwise I will not be setting up the appointment to begin with. Second, it is none of her business what I do with the property afterwards. I don't know how the company runs but if everyone is as unorganized and unprofessional as her, they won't have a client base much longer. As a property owner of multiple properties, this is the first time I ever had to deal with anyone as unorganized as Xiao. Needless to say, I will not be using Prime Realty again. If you are so unfortunate to expressed interest in their listings, do yourself a favor and call an agent from ANOTHER realty to deal with the mess. Or better yet, move on to other properties where they are not the listing agent - you will thank me afterwards. read more
