Aaron was nothing but professional and respectful when working with me on finding my apartment. Originally, I wanted to rent a place in East Harlem and was looking to rent with Aaron, but later decided to nix my East Harlem dreams for the Upper West Side! Although I did not rent from Aaron, he worked hard to help me find an apartment in the location that I wanted to be with. He sought out apartments in my ideal location and helped me identify the perfect apartment for me! Aaron your patience and professionalism is top-notch. Thank you for all your help and support in finding my new place! read more

I worked with Aaron again this year and WOW! He did not stop until my roommates and I found the place we dreamed of! Super great guy that will go above and beyond to make sure you get everything you are looking for from your apartment search. If you need to find an apartment ask for him! read more

My realtor was Becca or Rebecca? I'm not sure, but she was very very unprofessional- she rarely answered calls, would straight up ask questions about income in a super unprofessional way after already paying $80 for the application fee (she had all my income info) They also want $500 as a "good faith" through venmo (her PERSONAL venmo account). She also ran my credit check before receiving all the paper work and then told me she was going on vacation for 2 weeks so can't help ? read more

WARNING! Please read this before attempting to do business with Green Homes: In short, they will make you feel safe by being personable and claiming they are "on your side" and "not like other brokers" while lying to you about anything they can to get your money whether they actually intend on helping you get approved or not. If you're really stuck on a place managed by Green Homes, I urge you to make sure to get everything they say to you to try to sell you on an apartment in writing because they will try to go back on their word. read more

My realtor Aaron was very personable, answered all of my questions and helped me with applying to my apartment. He was always available by text and phone call. When I visited the apartment he introduced me to the super and other tenants reassuring me that the neighborhood felt like a community. read more

Were I the owner of a building, I would not want to be represented by a broker that would initiate a text message argument with a potential tenant. Odi Zalicha (Odelia), has been berating me via text message for the last 15 min at least. If I were interested in dealing with a broker, I would have contacted one, and this is prime example of why I haven't. read more

I'm not one to just give 5 stars on a review just because I was pleased. I am giving this company 5 stars because they went so far above and beyond what they had to for me. I was a medical student moving from the Bronx to Manhattan so I make no money, I am completely on loans. As I called different Brokerage firms over and over NOBODY responded, probably because my request was a little difficult to find AND I would be a nightmare to get approved. Green Homes NYC was different. They fought to get us approved and we signed the lease within a week. In addition to that, they kept us updated every step of the way, we were never in the dark. There are hundreds of Brokerage firms in NYC but I would be shocked if you could find a company that was more pleasant to work with than Green Homes NYC. read more

Aaron was super helpful and very nice! We found a great apartment in our budget and he answered all of our questions!

Green Homes posts apartments on Craigslist in the no fee section but charge a fee (and not just a condo application fee, which would not be a problem, but a broker fee on top of this). I was perfectly happy to pay a fee for an apartment, but not when it's done in a dishonest way. read more

Aaron helped us find an apartment in one day. Showed us the listing that we saw in the add (the photos were real which was shocking since so many brokers post fake adds to get you in) and other apartments on the block that were comparable. Everything he said was true, from getting approved same day as long as we provided all our documents, to the microwave that was not in yet that would be put in once we moved in. Odi was super helpful also with helping me understand the process when Aaron was not around. Great company, GREAT TEAM! read more

These people are crooks. I dealt with Odi and she was the worst liar. I have her promise in writing that she would give us a rebate if the apt was no-fee and did not honor it. She found us a no fee apt and did not disclose it was no fee and charged us 15%. So she got a commission from the building and us too. This apt was for my son. Since I live out of town, I don't want to go through the trouble to sue them. But I would if I lived closer. Another lie she told was that ambulances could not sound a siren within half a mile of the hospital. I asked because the rental bldg was 2 blocks from Langone Medical and I asked her about noises. I complained to the founder of the firm, to no avail. He is a crook too. Do not do business with them. Stay away. Most dishonest people I've ever come across. I am shocked they are still in business. read more

Had a TERRIBLE experience with Odi and Yuriy. Everything seemed wonderful at first, they were very responsive and receptive. They made themselves available to answer questions, etc. However, once I picked up my keys from my new building, I learned they had not investigated any of my questions and instead of saying they didn't have answers, lied to me with false answers. Their lies ultimately cost me upwards of $500, and when I asked for that back from my fee to them, they became malicious. They ignored my receipts of the times they lied, and threatened me. They just want your money, and will do anything to get it, DO NOT TRUST read more

Odi and her gang of thieves and crooks (including an asshole named Simon) are arrogant, treacherous and deceiving. They think the sun shines out of their backside because they are incredibly rude and think that without them, apartments don't get rented in NYC; they make you feel like they are doing YOU a favor. What a joke! These people are a bunch of wheelers and dealers who take money for applications and then hustle you into paying more through service/broker fees and forcing you to pay more by rent by telling you that there are other applications that have been approved and that if you really want your apartment, you have to up your bid. Simon [the Sleaze] showed me an apartment for which I put in an application and then called me back telling me to increase my bid. When I smelt something fishy, I asked for my money back. He then tried to get me to sign a lease on another apartment (that was under renovation) claiming they both were the same layout. He would NOT let me see the floor plan, or the apartment saying i should just 'trust him'. YEH RIGHT!!! Bear in mind, all this while he is talking down to me and telling me that I am not serious about renting, that I am wasting his time and he has better things to do. Little shit thinks he's a two-bit hot-shot! When I finally said no to renting that apartment, I demanded my money (application) back. They returned it TWO months later after repeated calls and stinky text messages. Conclusion: STAY AWAY from this band of shameless and deceitful people. Odi is the brains behind their operations and she steers that ship. Simon is simply a scrawny little pawn that follows her instructions to do her dirty work. If you EVER decide to deal with them, make sure you have DOCUMENTATION and get them to SIGN it!!! If you lose your receipt, you're so screwed! read more

Dealt with Ronen. This guys on the money. Told him what I wanted for my son who was going to school at NYU and showed it to me that very same day. It was like this place was made for him. Ronen took care of all the paper work. Very easy to deal with. Already told the school about you guys. Thanks read more

The worst agency I've ever worked with in NYC. I've lived here my whole life and these guys are ridiculous with their demands and treatment of people. They are totally rude, unprofessional, and inconsiderate of other people. They honestly just want your money (for the application fee) and then will keep telling you the apartments you applied for got rented. They keep stringing you along to different apartments, telling you that they'll help make sure you get this one. Just be honest. They literally act as if they're only brokers in NYC and you better be patient with all their lies and nonsense or you won't get an apartment. Once I finally got my money back from them I was able to sign for a place the NEXT DAY with someone else who was kind, responsive and professional. That turnaround time really proves that these guys are the worst. (Also the apartment I ended up with is so much better than theirs. With their attitude you'd think they had the best places to offer but even that's not read more

Aaron is awesome. He had many options for apartments, was super flexible in his scheduling, very honest with fees, and overall worked very hard for my roommate and I. Super nice guy, ask for him on Street Easy or Naked Apartments as well. read more

I had a great experience with Green Homes period. From start to finish these guys were fantastic, easy to work with, efficient and serious. They helped me find an apartment that I absolutely love and within my budget. Tal, Sharon and El made my life easier and this daunting task of finding an apartment in New York City, a pleasurable and exciting experience. read more

Eran was extremely helpful in getting us an apt in Hell's Kitchen and walking us through the process. He was able to get the rent down to an agreed upon price and was accommodating with signing the paperwork. The broker fee did go up after we sent in the application fee and security deposit, but it was still worth it considering the rent was lowered. Overall, Eran was great to work with and I'd recommend him to anyone in the market. read more

I went to see an apartment with one of their brokers and liked it so I asked them how much the fee was. He said one month which was consistent with what all of the other brokers I met with showing fee apartments were saying. My 2 roommates and I paid the 600 dollars in application fees (100 per person including guarantors) and were told a few days later that we got the apartment. A few hours before the lease signing we were then informed that the fee was actually 12%, an almost 2000 dollar difference. When I pointed out their inconsistency they said that there were other applications in and they didn't care if we walked away. Since we weren't going to get our application fee reimbursed (and we'd have to pay it again if we found another apartment) we ended up signing the lease anyway. Overall, I would definitely not recommend them. read more

I have lived In New York for many years now and Odi at green homes is definitely the worst person I have ever met. That woman has no soul. She will lie to your face and tell you one thing so you will pay the application fees, security deposit, etc and then once she has your money she will turn around and change her word, significantly increase her broker fee and deny any previous agreements you discussed with her. She is a terrible person. Do not trust a word she says. There are so many great brokers in nyc and Odi at green homes is not one of them. read more

I contacted Green Homes through an advertisement as my daughter was relocating to NYC. They were very professional and found us a great list of properties to see. We picked one the first day! What a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an apartment in NYC!! read more

I was so happy with my experience at Green Homes NYC. After a stressful week of pushy brokers from other companies I came across Green Homes where Odi and Eldad were incredibly honest, helpful and efficient. I would absolutely go through them again! read more

Tal Eisenberg is the best. He made what I thought would be an overwhelmingly daunting process easy! Helped us find an apartment within days. Green Homes is an excellent service that will not show you useless properties and really listen to what you want. Highly recommended! read more
