He truly saved the day (and my sanity!) during a stressful situation late at night. I was alone, in an industrial business park parking lot, as a small 32-year-old woman just trying to figure out what to do. Google listed a handful of "open late" locksmiths near me, so I called the first three before One Stop -- and every single one told me they wouldn't come out at that hour. The earliest they could get to me was the next morning... while my dog was locked in my running car. To top it off, they all quoted me a minimum of $200, which I expected may be higher due to the late hour, but still felt excessive considering the simplicity of the job. Thank GOD I kept calling, because it led me to Vijay at The One Stop Locksmith. The second he picked up the phone, he was kind, calm, and ready to help. He didn't hesitate for a moment about the time -- he immediately rushed out to me without any judgment or delay. First, I now have a train horn. $1200 for the device and installation which included mounting the horn itself and the tank under the hood, running the power and activator to a button on the dashboard. The horn is LOUD AS HECK and will do very nicely for getting idiots out of my way on the road. Second, we added some perforated white wrap to the back windows. While it took some explaining and they had to special order the vinyl, the installation is great. I think it helps make the Sprinter look a little bit less like an RV and a little bit more like a plain vanilla work van. Stealthier. Overall, I'm pleased with the work. While having someone come to you to install a car alarm is great, I would also recommend caution…read more Eric was great with scheduling and coming to my job to install my Compustar alarm. He had to come back after the initial install due to a part not working. The alarm worked great for several months. I ran into an issue with my remotes not locking or unlocking my car doors after arming and disarming them. I reached out to him to see if this was normal and he responded that it should not do that. A few days later the remotes started operating properly. Then out of nowhere again the remotes stopped arming and disarming the alarm (less than a year after install) and I could only use the app on my phone. I texted and called (left voicemail) on his cell phone and never received response. My alarm would randomly go off (shock alarm) between 10:00pm-4:00am whenever it was could outside. I googled and found that it was due to the sensitivity of the alarm. There was no way I could get any assistance since Eric would not respond to any communication. If you want continued support I recommend going to a brick and motor shop and not using Audioman of the Carolinas. ***response to Eric C.**** We were messaging about the issue August 10,2025 and then nothing.
