To All of You, Do…read morenot fall in this Trap!! I usually don't write bad reviews on any businesses or places I have tried. But for this one (Bethany at Bethany Health), I just got very frustrated. I bought the coupon on Groupon.com for 48% off as promotion,. After I bought it, I emailed them on July 2 to book an appointment, and then they told me that the earliest appointment is Saturday August 15, at 10:30am. So, I confirmed it. The requirement was in order to make an appointment, you also need to provide the coupon code from Groupon.com that you bought. Then today, July 10, I got an email that the appointment got cancelled and needed to reschedule and provided no reason, until I called them. I then called them to ask for a reason for cancellation, and the reception told me that it was due to Bethany has a conflict for that time and date. What really got me so frustrated is that 2 weeks ago, when I booked this appointment, I wasn't told that she will have or has any conflicts at all. Why is it 2 weeks later, it turned out to be that she has conflict with this appointment? My guess is that one of her regular customers (the non-Groupon.com customer who pays regular prices) called up and needed to schedule an appointment and can only make it at that time. Then the receptionist told me that the available dates during that week are all in weekdays. Com'on, if you look at the business hours, she closes at 7pm on the days that she opens, and also look at the # of days she opens during weekdays. Seriously, I believe that the reason that she posted on Groupon.com is because she wants to get more business. If not, then why posted for people to buy at discounted rate and to try out? But then posted and people bought the coupon, but not honoring them with a confirmed appointment that won't get cancelled for no reasons. That also explains for why she requires us to provide the coupon code on the coupon voucher that we bought from Groupon.com. Basically, the customers bought the discounted coupons from Groupon.com are last on her list to get an appointment. Isn't this a scam? If it is not, I am not sure what it is called...!!!

I've been seeing Dana for about a year, and my experience with her has been fantastic. I'm so glad…read moreI've found such a talented and helpful acupuncturist nearby. I first came to Dana looking for help with fertility as well as stress management and some other related symptoms. I'd had acupuncture to support getting pregnant with my first baby, and after trying for several months unsuccessfully this time around, I decided it was time to add it in. After just about 3 months of treatment (which is the timeframe that is typically expects for acupuncture to affect these things), I was pregnant! I then continued to see Dana throughout my pregnancy -- in support of a healthy pregnancy, to help with symptoms like morning sickness, and to manage a number of ailments that came up during. Frankly, I've had a complicated year for health, and Dana's treatment and support has been a godsend. She's offered recommendations for diet changes and vitamins (never in a remotely pushy way) that have made a real difference for me. Over the past ten years or so, I've seen a number of different acupuncturists, all with slightly different approaches and styles. Dana is absolutely the real deal and very talented. I highly recommend her and am grateful to continue to see her to support my own health and well-being.

Dana takes time to review your medical history and listen to your concerns. During my treatments she intuitively addressed other issues she identified. When my allergies started acting up, she focused on those as well. You leave feeling refreshed and energized. Maybe similar to a good massage without the discomfort. I have recommended her services to others and they always come back to thank me and praise her success.

I happen to find this place while visiting one of my friends , I noticed how great her skin looked and her lips , she proceeded to tell me she goes to Alda Aesthetics for her skin treatments and injections. So of course I immediately wanted to go check it out for myself . I must say even though there were very busy , they were able to accommodate me . The place is very inviting and so are Dana and Alyssa and extremely knowledgeable. I was able to get in and see Dana for a skin treatment and my skin glowed even my husband who never notices anything asked me if I had done anything different .I went back a week later and met with Alyssa for lip injections because of course I kept thinking about how amazing my girlfriends lips looked and I had to get the same . I have done many injections before and I have never had someone pay attention to such detail and perfection like Alyssa does , she is a true artist with a syringe in her hand . I am extremely happy with my treatments at Alda Aesthetics . I live in Cranston so it takes me over and hour to get there . But I'd rather drive to a place that I am extremely happy with then settle for another place around me who I don't feel compares to them just because they are closer . I will be visiting here again next month for Botox and skin smoothing peel .

The last one I went to, I paid my full price admission and even brought a group of friends who all came on my recommendation, but it was all a waste. The woman running the event did zero crowd control and the table next to ours got so out of hand that my friends & I were basically left out of the event. (We even took turns asking them to be quiet!!) Turns out, nothing was said to the super-rude people at the table because they were related to the owner. Nice. I guess it's ok to take my money, but I don't get what I paid for if relatives are too busy having a good time (by being totally rude & interrupting all night). My friends & I have often wondered since if we'd been loud & obnoxious if it would have been tolerated?? Not only that, but the owner has been made aware of what happened & has made it clear that she has no intentions of making this right for my friends & I. We should have been given our money back on the spot, but there was never even a gesture of good will - not even offering to have us join in on another event at a discounted rate! That's bad business practice. This economy is too tight right now for me to continue to waste my money on a business that isn't interested in customer satisfaction. This is too bad...because as I stated, this place does some really great events. But as they say, "fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me".

Anywho, I walked into their Hanover office one day to ask questions and tell them about my medical history to see if they would treat me. The receptionist, Sue is SO kind and friendly and was very informative about my benefits too. She makes you feel like you've been a patient forever. I accidentally gave my debit card to my daughter and couldn't pay my co-pay one day and she was not rude about it at all. (Most offices are snippy as if you did it on purpose) She is a lovely person. SO to the therapy. I was scheduled with Brendan who I got to meet on that day as well. He was very thorough during my initial evaluation and he explained in detail what his results were of the exam. He has an optimistic personality and a sense of humor, which is important when you've been down and out for 2 years. Then on to my treatment, he is always very careful to ask how I am doing during my treatments and again, answers all my questions in layman's terms. I told him about my bad experience with another local PT office. He makes sure that you understand "why" he is working on a body part what he is working out and how you will benefit from it. I was also given home exercises and he made sure that I was doing them correctly before I went home and did them wrong. Brendan also does a good job of really showing you and telling you where and what you should be feeling while doing the therapy. He makes sure that your doing the movements right in order to make the most of the exercises and you never feel rushed. This is very important with PT. I have a lot of work ahead of me but I feel confident that I will get pain relief, get my range of motion back and I can get back to work! I would tell anyone to visit Anderson PT in Hanover and ask for Brendan. I also had a bilateral TMJ reconstruction over 15 years ago and he has knowledge about TMJ problems. Working in the dental field for 28 years, I know how difficult it is to find professionals who specialize in TMJ, so if you have TMJ problems, you can call Brendan!
