I had left a negative review but the company representative reached out to explain the circumstances. Apparently a family emergency prompted him to leave and send someone else to finish the job. The second guy competed the service and while the garage rubs a little on the spring adjustment screw, it works well. I highly recommend as a company policy, to give the customer an estimate before taking it all apart. I understand that to get an accurate price he needed to measure the springs. A ballpark price would have prompted me to possibly order a new door. I found that $600 is expensive for 2 Chinese made springs. He explained that those were the cheapest option which I still found pretty expensive. It cost about $800 for the complete repair. Labor was more than fair but again I think the mark up on the springs is excessive, which possibly might be a company issue, not an employee issue. Overall the guy was nice but I would have liked a little better communication. If he would have explained that an emergency happened, I would have been more understanding. read more
