From the beginning, my crown was ill-fitting, yet instead of replacing it when I first raised concerns, they continued to delay any real solution. Because of this, a pocket formed in my gum that bleeds frequently--and now I'm being charged for the new crown needed to fix the issue they failed to address properly in the first place. The dentist's visits are very short, and he does not appear interested or invested in my concerns. He doesn't allow time for questions or for me to participate in my own treatment plan. It feels like it's his plan or none at all, which is extremely frustrating. Customer service is also poor. The front desk and staff show little interest in the patients, often speaking in an unpleasant manner and barely making eye contact. Overall, the lack of professionalism, communication, and care has been incredibly disappointing, and I cannot recommend this office based on my experience.

Her pain is so bad when she went back and told him she couldn't eat he said oh well guess you can't eat. And then told her maybe it's just her teeth. He made her feel stupid and was so uncaring. Do not go here. Took her to another dentist who said maybe the nerve got irritated or the pulp of tooth was damaged. She has to have filling removed and have a sedation filling and possible root canal. This was caused by the awful dentist . Run!

I wasn't crazy about the water and scrapping method used as water got sort of all over and also after the water it was a bit more harsh than I was used to at my old spot, although my NJ hygienist is rare in this way. I returned the following week to get Zoom! Whitening done. I had an appt at 4 and was told it would be an hour. They were running behind and apologized, but didn't even bring me back until after 4:30 and I wasn't done until after 6. They were apologetic, but I had something to be at at 6:30, but it happens. Overall, I was thrilled with my zoom results & would highly recommend for anyone looking to brighten their smile. I was happy enough overall with my experience and the staff that I would go back for future services, especially being the shorter drive.

Dr. Kenwood has helped me tremendously. So much so, I can hardly believe the two reviews prior to mine are for the same dentist. Dr. Kenwood is one of the kindest dentists I've ever met, extremely compassionate, and very calm. I met Dr. Kenwood at a community event and was in excruciating pain on a Sunday so I left a message on the office voicemail with little expectation. Dr. Kenwood called me back that day and scheduled an early AM emergency appointment. He had to work on the tooth in stages due to an infection that was causing my pain. Dr. Kenwood took his time during the process explaining his goal to ensure no darkening of the tooth would occur. I've had root canal procedures from both dentists and endodontists. My endodontist had retired and I was nervous to use a dentist again, but Dr. Kenwood exceeded expectations. I later learned of his extensive experience with root canals during a conversation, but he referred me to contact one for a different dental situation, so I am confident he knows when to refer. Since then, I have had dental cleanings, fillings, and some cosmetic dentistry done at this location. Every person I've met on the staff I've met is friendly, accommodating, and experienced. I don't often take the time to write reviews, but saw this when I was looking up his office number and felt someone should set the record straight! I think they're just that good naturally. It was my first time there and while the staff were out for lunch and the doctor handed me my paperwork and made some jokes that made me chuckle. After waiting less than 5 minutes after my paperwork was done, I was seen by the hygienist. The tv was on in the room and it was set to a news station, but it was a news show I had never seen before and it was kind of entertaining. The lady (ahhh i forget her name!) that was to be cleaning my teeth joked and discussed the events on the tv with me, even stopping to give me a break after cleaning my teeth a while to have some light hearted chat. she made me feel really comfortable. When the doctor came in to look over my x-rays, he was very thorough at explaining everything to me in straight forward terms. A super nice guy. Nothing scary about this dentist! They gave me instructions on a specific regimen for me to follow and even gave me some stuff to start me out. Fantastic experience! Chose this dentist office because they were local and it appeared that they accepted my insurance…read more Upon checking out, the receptionist let me know that she was mistaken and the visits for myself and family would be billed as "out of network." I was subsequently billed $600+ for the work that was done. To add insult to injury, within a year, two of the fillings that were done have since fallen out and needed to be replaced. My money is gone and so is my time. However, I am currently a patient at a dentist office who clearly knows what types of insurance is accepted and how to correctly fill cavities.
