This week I celebrated my anniversary and decided I'd like to get a watch engraved for my partner…read more As the master of procrastination, I waited until the last second and my Google results brought me to the Engrave Lab. I sent Engrave Lab an email asking for additional information and inquired whether they'd be able to accommodate my request on such short notice. Varun, the owner, responded quickly and assured me that if I stopped by that afternoon that he'd be able to take care of the engraving. The location is on Old Country Rd, you can't miss it. The shop is decently sized and clean. Varun explained the process, let me pick out a font and showed me where the engraving would lay on the watch. I appreciated his feedback and knowledge during the process. While we waited for the engraving to be completed, I learned that Varun offers classes that you can take with a partner - making for a potentially fun date night. He also does engravings at weddings and special events. Overall I had a great experience with Engrave Lab. My partner loved the engraving and I'll definitely be back in the future.

I have used MKC for years and I am always disappointed. They always take longer than have promised…read morewith low quality. I bought many things from MKC and there were always issues. I got a zip up that was needed for my little's reveal and almost didn't come in on time. I had to constantly be emailing and saying I needed it by a specific date, even if it costs more. When the zip up did come, it was missing half of the customizations and they refused to offer any compensation, besides a refundfor the ones they forgot to add. I got my little a jersey and the custom fabric is $30 for each side, amounting to $60. It is ridiculous, but i did it because no one else has the specialty fabric that can be used on our letters, and I really do like the specialty fabrics. I luckily did not have a rush on it, and did some customizations at a different greek apparel store, so I didn't have any issues until I got it. The quality was extremely poor for the amount of money that was spent on it. There were lose threads, the fabric wan't flat when it was sewn on, and overall it looked /messy/. I got my other little a jersey from another Greek apparel company and it was much better quality. Now, I have recently ordered two line jackets with just a few customizations. Their production time was listed as two weeks. It was ordered 2/11. It is now 3/5. The jackets have not even been shipped out yet. I do not mind it it takes a long time, I completely understand because it is all customized, however, I would just like to be told if it will take longer than expected. I asked when I first placed the order i asked If I can receive the jackets by the first week of March and they said it was "possible". Why would you tell me it was possible if it wasn't . It is not even shipped yet. I like the look of MKC and how they make the letters, and there are also not many greek apparel shops to choose from, but I think the pro's are outweighing the cons at this point. I recommend literally any other custom greek letter company over MKC Threads.

We ordered one of their "oops" bottles as a joke gift and when we received it, the engraving was completely off of what was displayed online. While we knew it was a mess up (why we bought it) and understood it could vary slightly, what we got wasn't even close to the message & is now useless. I highly recommend avoiding them.
