After a nice morning at chuckie E Cheese, we stopped by this barber shop, and we were pleasantly surprised. Not only with the hair cut but also with the service and patience. I walked in here because I needed a haircut for thanksgiving I showed the guy a photo and then said low taper on the side and mid taper in back, my hair was grown out not super long since I had my hair short before but the sides were very outgrown. I also asked for a little bit off the top. During the haircut he went on his phone many times and I knew he messed me up when he started cutting my hair down with a guard, I asked for a little bit off the top and he cut my hair down to about an less than an inch on top and basically nothing on the sides. My head looked like a short square. I didn't say anything which I probably should have since the haircut was absolutely fucked. But needless to say I paid over 40$ for this service and honestly if I knew my hair would be this messed up I would have never even looked in the direction of the barbershop. Even the taper isn't done well, atleast if he cut my hair this short I would expect a clean haircut but the taper isn't even done well the line behind my ear of the taper is so crooked and I didn't even notice until I got home anyway that's enough talking I would advise to go somewhere for a better service and cheaper price read more

As of 3/20/21 This place needs more Love, Why?? While my wife was getting her teeth done next plaza over, I came in here for a cut. Two gentlemen were sitting I asked if they were waiting, since all chairs were full. Boss man ran behind the scene and asked for assistance...now this is where it gets interesting.... The man brings out a Korean Auntie. I myself am a Korean..I assumed this was a typical barbershop now. Now I'm getting a fade on from an Auntie both speaking in Korean in a barbershop...offset much?! Now, this is the meat n potato of this post. As I was leaving, boss man asks me if I'm on Yelp, I said yes. Instead of saying "can you leave a Yelp for our business," what was said was "can you leave a Yelp review for HER." HE was looking out FOR HER. He. Is. Family. Instantly. I will be back. Just left the shop and am impressed with the SKILLZ D-Mack displayed. I just found a New Barber in the Valley!!! Update: This is one cool guy, and works REAL HARD to have you looking your best. And after several visits, things keep getting better and better. All of his client talk to you (while in the chair), about other business opportunities, investments, and so on. D-mack was really accommodating when I came in for a walk in today. He highly recommends appointments in advance but welcomed me in no problem! I showed him a picture of what I wanted since it has been a while since I changed my haircut and he nailed it. He's very personable and he actually listens to you about what you want your hair to be. Really awesome place. Was my first time going there and didn't set up an appointment but still took me in and got my hair done which is really appreciate from them. I didn't really know what style I wanted to go with but they helped me out made suggestions and just overall a great experience and a great hair cut at the end of the day. This barber shop is very friendly, very chill and very mellow. The staff that works here are always seemingly trying to do their best of there abilities to meet the needs of those who require any type of cuts that they might need. Overall their PROFESSIONALISM is outstanding, the SERVICE they give is way above satisfactory, if you want a hair cut this is the place to be. Only cons about this place is the appointments, where as you simply can not just walk into this establishment but must require prior knowledge of this shop or someone who knows this shop that can give you the number to make appointments. Other then that I gave this fine establishment a proper review, with 5stars. And would recommend anyone who needs a hair cut to come here for all their hair cutting needs. read more

Prime cuts barber shop a great place to have a cut. The room is neat and spacious. They have their own reserved parking so parking is no problem. The barbers there including the owner are good barbers and very friendly from the moment you walk in. My barber Charlie for example has been cutting my hair for about 7 years since I met him in another barber shop that he used to work in. He is the best and most dedicated barber I have ever met. He always does an impressive thorough job and always show professionalism. He pays attention to details and takes good care of you you as a person. He always give me exactly what I want and look good on me. That's why I follow him to the current shop when the other one was closed down. read more

If you want a quality detailed cut D Mack is the guy to go to he's been my go to guy for 5+ years now he's always busy works by appointments and is very detailed which every customer. Excellent customer service. He will make you feel like you're at home he's very genuine, polite, and a totally character he will conversate with you and give you advice. So I came here a couple days ago and didn't realize I had to make an appointment. Charlie didn't say anything and still gave me a cut. He is a super nice guy and makes you feel very comfortable when getting a haircut. He did exactly what I wanted and honestly, it turned out to be the best haircut I've ever received from a barber. He went above and beyond from lining me up, giving me a shoulder massage ect. I highly recommend this place to anyone in Los Angeles. Make sure to ask for Charlie. You will not be disappointed. He took the time to listen to my son, understand what he wanted, and create a cut that perfectly fit his face shape. He even taught him how to style it so he could keep the look at home. A few days later, my son forgot how to style it, and this is where Eric truly went above and beyond. Not only did he send us a YouTube video, but he also took the time to FaceTime my son personally and walk him through the styling step-by-step. I have never come across a barber (or really anyone) as kind, patient, and dedicated to their clients as Eric. He went out of his way, even after hours, to make sure my son was happy and confident with his new style. We are beyond impressed and so grateful. Disrespectful and a waste of my time. His coworker even mentioned it being odd. Plus, the haircut was bad. He barely cut it and when he was done, I was so tired of the bad vibes that I had to get out of there. Dropped $50 for a really bad haircut. I had to go spend another $40 on a second haircut to fix the embarassingly bad looking haircut. That barber asked if I cut it myself it was so bad. I guess they don't like new customers at Faded so you'll never see me in there. Looking forward to bad memories of this place being faded.

And I just want to say Cindy is the most professional, most committed, most caring, most humble barber I've ever had--and I'm an old man SFV local. I've had some great barbers, but I've never had one that asked questions reflecting such a tremendous attention to detail. I wish I was rich so I could tip her 100% every time because she definitely deserves it. I hesitated to leave this review because I don't want to deal with long lines, but they definitely deserve the business and everyone would be pleased. So I guess I can't be greedy.

DEMETRIUS is a very easy going young barber shop owner and a pleasure to go to. I have been ISO a new place to go to for months and so I came across PRIME CUTS on yelp ( super good 5 star business btw ) and not to mention his shop is a 2m walk from my apartment super easy for me. I have been here 2 times and the service he gives is worth way more than what he charges. I could say so much more about DEMETRIUS and how he operates his very comfortable and smooth operating barber shop and it would all be true but the 5 star status he has on yelp says all you need to know... Long story short go here if you want excellent service, I did and I will be back. Thanks for the 5 star cuts man, double thumbs for you. A great experience! I'm a tourist visiting the area and needed a haircut and it was close to were i was so i jumped in and glad that i did. The barber (i think he was the owner) was so hospitable and so welcoming and did his work professionally and always with a great smile. I highly recommend. read more

DMack is the man when it comes to the art of cutting hair! Total pro, and very personable. Hard working as they come, too. I know a lot of guys that put some serious mileage on their cars and trucks to come to his shop. You should too. read more
