I believe the ownership has changed and the new owners just aren't hands on as he was. So why the poor rating? Last week I was there and it was poorly staffed (Again). The person running the cash register was then running over to rinse the cars. Yes, a one man show. While I felt bad for the person, they were allowing the folks to get through on the automated line (those with a membership or paying by card) to totally gyp the line, cutting in front of those paying with cash. The cash paying line just sat there. The person got to busy to stop rinsing and collect cash, plus the line of people coming through the automated line was endless. They use to be a good deal. Scott would put discount coupons in The Clipper where you could get the top car wash for $5 off. The new owners are charging much more per wash and no discounts AND trying to push everyone towards a subscription which is equal to 2 full price washes or $40. This would all be worth it if the car came out clean. Your going to have to wash the bugs and bird turd off yourself!

Despite that, they recommended replacing both transmission sensors for nearly $1,000, even though they couldn't confirm either sensor was bad. I suggested additional driving to fully warm the vehicle, but the issue still couldn't be replicated. They asked to keep the car another day, which I declined due to a lack of confidence in the diagnostic process. I was also charged a $24 environmental fee that was not explained when I paid over the phone. Customer service was polite, but the diagnostics felt incomplete and leaned toward replacing parts without confirmation. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this shop.

I took my car over there and the had things stolen from my car, charged me thousands in cash for my e break tires and dash and inspection and all of these test to be done but when I gotten my car. it was as if they did nothing. E brake still doesn't work lights still up on the dash, buttons that worked before no longer work now. & then on top of the charge extra for parts that were stolen when it was in the possession don't trust this shop especially the employees&their prices or their work.

My Jeep has always been perfectly maintained and had no leaks. After an oil change at Kruegers, I have a leak. I contacted them and the "service manager" Jim Adair contacted me. He was a very disingenuous person and he was only interested in handling me, not addressing the issue. He stated his technician documented the alleged leak BEFORE he did the oil change. Impossible because it had no leaks. He then told me how my oil filter housing was cracked. It isn't. The reason my Jeep was seeping oil is because they overfilled it by about 2 quarts!! Just today, another friend of mine who lives in Laurel Springs told me he recently had an oil change at Jim Krueger Automotive, guess what? He also has oil leaking from his vehicle. This is not a coincidence. This place is a butcher shop. Avoid it at all cost. A $29.95 full synthetic oil change is too good to be true. I should have known better. At this point, I doubt they use synthetic oil, I doubt they let the old oil drain all the way out, I doubt they bother to secure the drain plugs properly, etc. Also the alleged leak the "documented" before the oil change was never disclosed to me or quoted on my receipt.
