We ordered over a month ago. We've emailed, tried Facebook, tried to call, even tried to leave reviews on their website. We've heard nothing back, phone goes straight to a full voicemail, and we've heard from at least another person that they're in the same position we are: likely out the money. Has something happened to "Ed" and the business that hasn't been made public? We don't want others to have the same experience we're having. We feel as if they have stolen our money.

Without a life vest, goggles or floats for her arms. Her mother doesn't know how to swim so the week we got her I rushed her into classes knowing that she would need them to ever feel comfortable in water just in general. I am sooooo Happy the YMCA was filled. Mr. Ed is a task master but could you handle 7 kids under 6 at once. Just getting her ready for the class is challenging but he had them all using a kick board, jumping from the side of the pool and holding their breath under water to the count of 10 ON THE FIRST DAY! This man worked miracles with her. Her grandfather and I could never have done it. We were in a boat with her after lesson 3 and swimming around the boat. We will be forever in his debt. She may now end up an Olympic swimmer and it could never have happened before Mr. Ed and Adventureswim.com.

Overall this is a nice pool. They don't do pool checks & make everyone get out of the pool like…read moremost public pools. They also allow coolers which is great. My reason for 3 stars is because they don't allow you to bring a float. There's also no chairs, so you have to bring your own or lay in the grass. I love to float around on my float on a hot summer day. It's too hot to lay in the grass to try to get a tan. Really, really wish they'd allow floats!

This is the primary location where my family works out, takes fitness classes, and swims/does…read moreswimming lessons. We love that there is both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. The family membership is affordable and worth it if you have young children who can utilize the child watch while adults exercise. There is a great variety of group fitness classes to meet differing interests and fitness levels. We really enjoy the swimming lessons as well. We have done private, semi-private and group and they really helped our kids with water skills and confidence. Lessons fill up quickly, so start checking mid-month for the next round of lessons to spring up on the website. This location isn't the most modern or well-kept. There seem to be lots of issues when it rains, and the layout is very strange. The small-ish workout/weights space is accessed by first going downstairs and then back up another set of stairs in the back of the building. There is also a musty/moldy smell that kicks up our allergies at times.

Basketball court is rented out and has non members filled with kids and family events every day of the week. Now they cater to kids and have them consuming the pool and studios. Lies are told to new members to get them to join. Automatic renewal in contract isn't brought up at joining and keeps people bound and nearly impossible to get out of. Equipment needs updating. Parking is terrible most days and members park anywhere they want , even in emergency and non parking areas making it hard to maneuver out of parking lot. Overpriced on top of maintenance fees twice yearly. Don't forget to add that to your membership cost. Not even sure what that ever goes to. They have one maintenance cleaner on staff to clean the whole facility. And repairs needed are very slow to getting fixed. Simply not kept up and seems to need more staff to get things done. The workout machines, namely the elliptical machines, are better here than at other locations and they have all of the weight equipment you could possibly want. It is a fairly small area for both workout spaces and the group fitness classrooms, if you are looking for space or privacy...this isn't the place. We LOVE that our family membership includes childcare. With no family in the area and little time, it is tough for my husband and I to take turns exercising. Childcare allows us to knock it out in one trip and our kids enjoy it here. They even have video games for the older kids and a small playground for the younger ones. Lastly, we filled out a form on the website for private swim lessons and an instructor reaches out to you personally to schedule an agreed upon time. We worked with Jordan for our very cautious swimmer and after 8 lessons, he is SO much more confident. Private is surprisingly affordable here and we saw much better results than when we did group lessons where they take turns getting instruction.

This is the only facility with hydro rider- a spin class in the pool. It fills up fast, so call and reserve a bike, and bring your own towel. Cansler is a great facility and the Y staff is very friendly. On my visits, it was not as crowded as my usual Y and parking was not a problem. It's a shared lot with O'Connor Senior Center and there's an overflow lot across Jessamine. Just remember to bring your towel as they don't have towels. I highly recommend Cansler if you are looking for a fitness canter
