He was extremely helpful in getting me set up for success throughout this process and I admire his honesty in everything, especially with his consideration on what I could truly afford and still be comfortable financially with. He always made it very clear that he was there for me throughout the entire process and that I could really call him almost whenever (and yes, even after the typical 5pm closing time. I wanna say he said I could call him up until like 9 pr 10pm!. Just overall a very easy going guy who is really there to help first-time home buyers feel comfortable. Also, Daniel was the one I communicated most towards the end of my escrow and up until my closing. He answered all of my questions, and made everything streamlined so that I could send over all the proper documents in a timely fashion and get what he needed from me to facilitate the process. I would 100% recommend this group to help you with your mortgage loan process on a property, and they've been nothing but helpful for me. Thanks again CFS!

We are appraisers that did work for this company and sent them an invoice in October 2024 for $650.00. They ignored our numerous requests for payment, never answer their phone and only finally paid the bill in June 2026 and we contacted VA. At that point, they had racked up almost the amount of the invoice in late fees and refused to pay them. We also lost interest on that money by not receiving our payment until 8 months later. We got a check for the original amount of $650 (they did not include any of the accrued late fees) and they have avoided us since. In doing some checking on this company, it appears they have also screwed over quite a few other people. Jim Quist, the president of this company instructed us not to contact him again and in turn, refer our invoice to the accounting dept, who have also ignored our requests. Check the reviews carefully on this company and BBB before getting involved with them. A company that can't afford to pay people they owe would seem to be high risk. I strongly suspect the 5 star reviews given them are by family members and friends. We definitely will NEVER do business with them again.

As veterans, we initially pursued a preapproval through USAA, but unfortunately didn't receive the level of follow-up we expected. Our realtor recommended a few lenders, and Brendon immediately stood out. Not only was he quick to act, but he was personable and genuinely invested in helping us from the very beginning. As first-time homebuyers, we had a lot of questions, and no question ever felt too small. He took the time to walk us through everything in detail, whether it was a quick 10-minute call or a longer conversation. He was incredibly responsive (often replying within hours) and set clear expectations throughout the process. As veterans, it meant a lot to work with someone who truly understood the VA loan process and could guide us confidently. One thing that really stood out was how he supported us when we submitted our offer. He personally connected with the seller's side to vouch for our financing and strengthen our offer. We truly believe that level of advocacy helped solidify our offer being accepted. The transition between Brendon and Josh on the Neighborhood Loans team was seamless, and both of them checked in regularly to make sure we felt informed and supported. Their level of service made what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth and manageable from start to finish, and we were able to close on time without any surprises. Bonus points for the handwritten notes, thoughtful closing gift, and the personal touches throughouht. They truly made the experience memorable. We would recommend Brendon and his team to anyone, especially first-time homebuyers, without hesitation.
