    I wanted an official loan estimate, not an just an email saying their rates. I got these responses.

    I wanted to go with owning, they had great rates and my coworkers and realtor friends suggested them. So I put in a request and was contacted by Esteban Lechuga. He talked up a good game and even said he would be willing to match and beat any competitor. I told him I was shopping around, so I was happy to hear he was willing to be competitive. He then sent me an email saying what his rates would be and how to get started. I answered his questions, got him documents, then asked him for an official loan estimate document. After that..... nothing. I started talking to Mr Cooper as well, so I could shop around. They also wanted to be competitive and said they'd match, too. Same deal as Owning. Cool! They provided a loan estimate document, day one. I asked Esteban for a document, and he responded asking for more information, but didn't acknowledge my request. He later called me up asking for more information, and I told him I was having dinner with my family for my birthday. He said okay, then kept asking questions. I couldn't believe it, but said screw it I'll just answer him and get it over with. After the call I go back to birthday dinner with my family and then he called AGAIN asking me questions. I told him again that I'm having dinner with my family and I'd like to answer these questions later. He finally let it go, and just emailed me his questions. I responded saying I'll get him the documents and info if he could also please get me the estimate document. He responded with two very curt emails: "I have some questions what your property value and loan bal" "Just call me more efficient that way I have a lot going on right now" Those emails have not been edited in any way. That was his exact level of professionalism. I asked him one more time for an actual document and he then canceled my application. I'm honestly surprised. The first call he seemed professional and willing to compete for my business. Now when asked for a single document he has a fit and decides to lose out? That's owning.com??? This is the caliber of company you should expect when calling them. They want a customer who doesn't read what they sign. They want a customer who won't argue or ask questions. They just want your money as fast as possible.

    How many times have I refinanced in 20 years you ask? Four. Yes, four... but this is the only time that the process was smooth, fast and without surprises. Owning Corporation's Michael Lamour with his attentiveness and personal touch got me started on the process. He sent me facts and figures very quickly and was eager to answer questions and review numbers for me, any time of the day, over the phone, including weekends. Thank you Michael! It's obvious that you enjoy your work... and Owning Corp., you are fortunate to have him. Next is Rosie Sintop, she took over as my loan processor and was by my side until this process was complete. She too was always available for phone calls and emails. You've got another good one here Owning Corp. And the fees you ask? ZERO!!! Truly, I'm dead serious, and no joke.     A couple of weeks ago, I decided to refinance and heard about owning.com on the radio. It paid dividends for owning inc. and I. Applied at 3 lenders and none were as fast, responsive, efficient, polite, and no BS than owning.com. It started with filling out the online app. Next, I got a call from Will Walker who asked me a few questions and we were literally done. He did all the filling out of the application, sent it to the processor and Kent requested a few documents, signatures, sent the notary and within 2 weeks we closed! Really! Closed in less than 2 weeks! The other 2 guys didn't even respond after I told them the advertised rate of 2.875 and 2.875APR and no points, closing costs, and only the required fees for all home loans. At least respond, but they just totally ignored me. I'll be typing a review for them in just a moment. Just be professional and say that's really good and we can't beat it. The others just left me hanging with no response after a few emails and I figure they have no time type a 30 second email. Ask for Mr. WILL WALKER! I nicknamed him Mr. NO BS!

    What are the itemized total fees and costs at closing? Just did not want to be surprised with sticker shock. Also, what funding source does Owning.com use to fund the loan? Will they transfer the loan to another lender e.g. Chase or Wells Fargo?

    No fees or costs. And yes, our loan ended up being sold to US Bank.

    Does owning need an interior appraisal for a refinance?

    How do you know if you've been approved for your loan or not?

    They keep you informed through the whole process. It only took a couple of days to verify approval.

    Which company will provide the mortgage service? Does it has online payment with option to pay additional principal?

    I just spoke to a rep and you have to refi min of 300k which means I would have to take cash out and pay 1.5% closing. So if you do that there is closing cost. Did anyone else experience this as I didn't know there was a minimum amount of the loan?

    Owning ONLY allows me to lock in my rate from 5/8/20 to 5/22/20. I requested for a minimum of 21 days lock in period as most reviews mentioned a 21 days closing, but they wouldn't let me. What was your lock in rate period? Why don't they let me?

    I think they allow 15 days or 2 weeks for a 3.5% on a 20yr

    I have called and wanted to borrow $266,000 on my primary residence. I have 790 credit and the house is worth $1,750,000. I called because of the very good advertised rate of 3.25% (as of 2/5/20 but was told it didn't apply. Why not?

    I cannot answer that. My re-if closed. They're quick and thorough and no fees. Best re-fi I've ever done.
