Concerned, we realized we had not looked into this schools security measures. We contacted administration. After going over the response we realized our public school system was doing more, SRO's, electronic locks, etc. We decided we were going drop our toddler from their program less then 2 weeks from our application 3 months before the following school year began. This is where the administration went dark. We had already handed over our FULL years tuition with our application. After two weeks of no info on our refund status after countless emails and calls. I met with the principal. I realized he was adamant about keeping a HUGE portion of our families funds even though our toddler has never used the facilities and we were dropping 3 months before. As reasonable people we expected to lose a deposit. This was not the case. PAY ATTENTION TO THEIR POLICIES before even beginning enrollment. They will hold as steadfast to these as tightly as they will your families funds. No matter the circumstance as Mr. Humphries made this very clear during our meeting. I cannot speak on the learning environment or educational staff as we only had the most unfortunate situation of dealing with the principal and admissions staff. If you enroll your child here and have any concerns regarding safety my hope is that your concerns will not be handled as callously as our families. Goodluck.

I had to switch schools because my mental health got so bad I was trying kill myself everyday. the…read moreonly good part about this school is the shitty water fountain. the teachers are all old a fat, and everybody there is MEAN. not to mention I had 4 things for homework in every subject every day. the teachers are rude ASF. so yeah don't send your kids here. and the other reviews saying it was a good school are either bots or teacher pets because I'm in therapy and my therapist says ore than half of her clients come from this school. (my brutally honest opinion.)

I went here only two years, but those two years actually left lasting scars on my mental health…read morethat I can only now say that I've recovered from five years later. It is not a nurturing environment, it doesn't even try to be one. The only Alumni leaving 4-5 star reviews would be those in the A-class, the 'smart class' who were the only ones the teachers actually put effort into. Seriously. I remember doing the same math problem for an entire year in C-class while A-class children were learning Latin. That was the overall experience. If you're labeled a smart kid, they prepare you for highschool. If not, you will likely spend a good chunk of highschool paying for it. That's only on the value of the school's education. Ethically, this place was questionable as other reviews can attest to. As a child, a legal minor, I was told that I would be condemned to hell if I got an abortion, transitioned to a different gender, or voted Democrat. And that's just what I can recall five years later. That seems awfully religiously (and politically) motivated for a school that isn't officially affiliated with any religion. And this might seem like typical Catholic rhetoric, but we weren't actually taught anything you would actually learn in a religion class, I didn't see a Bible ONCE. We just had moral superiority and religious flavored threats shoved down our throats. After leaving this school I have been told that the incentive behind its founding in the 1963 was desegregation in Louisiana schools. Of course, the school would never admit to that and I'm not old enough to confirm it, but I would believe it after witnessing how many of my non-white or even non-Christian peers were treated. Socially? I witnessed on multiple occasions bullying and verbal altercations turn physically violent, and teachers never did anything to deescalate the situation or break the kids up. I don't personally know anyone who didn't have some form of social anxiety or awkwardness after leaving this school. The social environment is the human equivalent of broiler chickens pecking each other's feathers out due to stress. Don't send your children here. There are many better and more nurturing options out there. The public school districts around genuinely aren't bad enough for this to be an option. If an administrator is reading this, please treat these children better. They are kids, blank slates, and you aren't teaching or even encouraging them to be good people.

My family member had her son here…read more the staff treated her very ignorantly and it made her worry about what kind of people she was entrusting with her little tiny two year old. Everything that can be observed and thought upon , where a person could be able to draw upon their own conclusions- pertaining to the style in which he's dressed- was questioned ...where she'd have to explain herself incessantly- as if they only bother her to get her(mom) to educate THEM on what is already the most obvious . Especially in this type of business, you want the best for your precious baby , to have some sort of caregiver question or doubt the mother's decision making (when it comes to the baby) is beyond comprehension these people act like they don't know what they're doing for you , to have to sit there and explain it !!! Do you really want someone that deft looking after your BABY!!!! No way and for them to critique the baby eating style, and sit there , and put any type of judgement over a little tiny baby being able to feed himself is so outrageous !!!!. Bad vibes all around !!! what are they thinking about your child, when you're paying them to do a job ? for them to sit there and put negativity towards someone so small and innocent just starting out in life . Horrendous !!!!! Avoid this place and find an alternative!!! For safety and spiritual reasons both . Go somewhere else !

The place is very clean, has a good learning program, and has the camera system where you can peek in on your kids throughout the day. Best part is that if there's ever an issue, the owner, Ms. Lisa, will personally take care of it. She's very down to earth and understanding. We still feel like we can call/text her even in the evenings. I miss this place. I especially love the cute homemade presents we get from the kids for holidays and the little parties they put on. The Easter bunny and Santa comes to visit and they take Fall and Spring pictures. Also, when our kids left, they made a going away binder full of cute pictures throughout the years. It was so cute that I cried!

One of the managers Jessica is a phenomenal person. I was very nervous since this was my daughters 1st time in daycare; she has always answered my calls & has even called me to tell me how she is doing. I recommend this learning center to anyone that may be looking to send their child somewhere.
