Placed on the highstreet, opposite the waterside centre, Lincoln's Primark is easy to find with it's huge blue sign.
Downstairs you will find womens clothes, shoes, accessories and underwear, and upstairs there is a smaller mens, childrens and homewear section.
The clothes are all very cheap, although this is reflected in the quality of the clothing. They are usually right on trend though, and if you are the kind of person who wears something once or twice then moves on to the next phase this sort of stuff is perfect for you.
Lincoln's shop is well laid out, having the high fashion items displayed at the front of the store, and towards the back you can see the more basic items, plain tshirts, jumpers and jeans etc. you will pay on average £5 for a top, and probably £8-10 for trousers.
The homewear is fantastic. It's really great for young people decorating there first home. I love my primark silky duvet, and nobody would ever know i paid only £15 for a kingsize set! They sell ornaments, cushions and even curtains too. (although the curtains are quite often only stocked in one or two sizes, and then need to be altered.. but for £20 a pair for full length big window curtains, who's complaining!)
If you wear a larger size, expect to have to really scrabble to find something to fit.. lincoln's primark seems to be aimed at size 8 to 10! though I have had a good few bits in larger sizes..
Also note that there underwear sizes are WAY out, a size 18-20 pair of pants wouldn't even shift past the thighs of my size 12-14 mum!! and it's a similar story with the bra's.. you really do need to try on in here.
Be warned though, if you buy a high fashion primark item, EVERYone will be wearing it, and know where you got it and what you paid.. (unless you live somewhere there isn't a primark and you're here to visit, of course.)
Oh, a final warning.. they really struggle to keep the bargain hunters from making a mess of their stores. and you may well be expected to search the floor for the other shoe of the set read more
