TK Maxx in Grimsby is in Freshney Place, along beside River Island/Burton, and up the escalator…read more It feels quite small and cramped inside, and there seems to be stuff everywhere, probably because there is! I'm an avid TK Maxx-er, and I'd rate this one as average - there is quite a good selection of stuff to root through if you're a bargain hunter like me but compared to other branches this isn't the best. If you're one of these people who dislike TK Maxx in general because you think it is like a jumble sale, then avoid this branch and take a trip down to Lincoln or over to Hull instead where the stores are spick and span and lovely and bright. This one is a bit below par on that score. Still fab stuff to be had though!

As a store to find absolute bargains on name brand goods, TK Maxx takes a lot to beat. Though i…read morewould temper this with the knowledge that prices have been creeping up in the last year, or i should say discounts are getting smaller. The Grimsby store is within Freshney place shopping centre and is accessed either by lift or escalator, not perfect for some shoppers. Additionally the shelves can get untidy very quickly and staff don't address the tidying up of shelves and racks too often. Plenty of fashions for the whole family and does seem to always have lots of children toys for all ages. Staff can be a bit disinterested at times. Store can look a bit grubby at times. Open seven days a week.

There is loads of shops around (mainly for women) like Primark and Claire's. If you're looking to eat they have a outside and inside Greggs along with a outside Cooplans and Mc Donalds. There is also a Starbucks inside if you want a coffee. From my personal experiences the staff at the shops are nice and calm and will help you as much as you want. There are a few game shops that will be sure to leave you pockets empty. When it's a holiday like Christmas they have Santa come in so your kids can have a picture with him. Food: Drinks: Selection: Value: Service:

Trying to get from the parking garage to the mall with a stroller was the worst experience. No good signage, no easy way to navigate. We parked on level 2 and discovered the lifts are only on Level 4, 6 and 8 and even when on level 4 we had to go a roundabout way to eventually get back to our car on level 2 after multiple trips up and down the stairs carrying baby in the pram. On top of all of this there is a fee for parking £1-8+, even in the popular tourist destination of Santa Monica, California parking is free for the first 3 hours. This is why brick and mortar stores are closing down and why online shopping is way better.
