I couldn't be happier with the job Patrick Force of Force's Refinishing did on my porcelain-top…read moreantique kitchen table. I found him here on Yelp; his calm clarity and professionalism came through in the initial telephone conversation, I *think* I sent him description, dimensions and pictures in E-mail, but either way he made what seemed like a reasonable estimate at that point. I brought my table over, he was finished less than 2 weeks later (including a long holiday weekend), and it looks beautiful. He started on it not knowing for sure if the paint would strip off easily enough, but apparently no problem. He called to suggest a stain color (walnut), which I went with -- by this point I could tell that any recommendation he had would probably be ideal, but appreciated having the choice. He even put in a new bottom in the little drawer; *what* a nice touch -- along with proper felt-bottomed 'feet' on the table legs. I also saw some beautiful work in his shop, and would definitely hire him again.

We knew that there was hard wood underneath the carpet and were selling "as is". When they came out to do an estimate, I was surprised that he (I'm sorry that I don't know the man's name) said that he would not spend the money to stretch or clean the carpet, because the new owners would want to pull it up anyway. I asked whether I should pull it up before the showings, but he said to save my time and effort, since we didn't know the condition of wood. We were SO grateful for his honesty, even when it meant that they didn't make money on the carpet! I promised to share the word about what a great company Carpet Clinic is! They have very reasonable rates and EXCELLENT service! Please give them a call!!

Throughout the process he did a great job of communicating what would be done, when, and the cost of the individual services. This made it easy to decide what I wanted done. My main reason for calling Carpet Clinic was that I needed a large section of basement carpet replaced. Fortunately, I had a remenant that would fill the space with some modifications. Dennis had to cut it up, piece it back together, then put it in place. He also did quite a bit of repair to the surrounding carpet to make it stable enough to stretch post addition. It looks great. I also had them remove some carpet ridges from my upstairs hallway and family room. Lastly, they cleaned my steps and upper hallway. My floors haven't looked this good in years! I will absolutely be calling them with any future carpet needs.
