We traveled from NC today and planned to dine at Prima Italia for my birthday dinner. We were greeted so wonderfully by Gordon. He made us feel so special and he set the mood for a lovely evening. Vincent our waiter was amazing! The food was fantastic and everything was perfect, but it was Vincent who brought the whole celebration to the rating of best ever! Vincent sat down and like a caring teacher, he explained the menu to us highlighting his favorite dishes. The Osso Bocco he described as, "to die for!" And it was! From wine, appetizers, main course and dessert with coffee we thoroughly enjoyed every single minute and so did Vincent. He was not overbearing but very sensitive to our needs. Thank you so much for a birthday dinner that we will always remember. The ambiance is very nice. The soft lighting and candles on each table set a relaxing and elegant atmosphere. The black tablecloths and white linen napkins folded like ocean waves were such a nice touch. There were paintings and fun art in the bathroom. If you just go for the art it's worth it!!! The bar tender was also very nice and enthusiastic about his work. Every staff member seemed genuinely happy to be a part of this team.

The entire experience wish spot on great! Our server/the atmosphere of the dining room(background music provided by a former student) our meal/the care shown by the management to the overall enjoyment of the patron. I have been to many Fine Dining restaurants and I must say that this establishment is a "jewel" for the Fort Smith area. They will go the extra mile to make dining experience a pleasure. Will most definitely be returning.

Pork Osso Bucco. It is braised pork shank covered with bordelaise sauce, topped with gremolata and served on a bed of creamy polenta.

First, the food was delicious and the vegetables were very fresh and from the local farmer's market. Our waitress was very attentive and gave us options she liked, which were very helpful. The romantic setting and live music made for a great dinner date.

All the food is amazing, the chef is so passionate and very friendly. The staff is also friendly and so fun. The bar is cozy and the restaurant is perfect for a dinner with friends or a date night. The restaurant was clean. The atmosphere was pleasant. Our server was extremely tentative and knowledgeable of all the menu items he made his recommendations. We picked our foods. I had the sausage and peppers which although is an appetizer I had that is my main course and I had the Caesar salad as my appetizer both were fresh and plentiful. My wife had the pork chop, which was too big for her to finish and tasted tender and amazing. I had a cocktail and my wife had a wine which were spot on. Both owners came to our table at different times and spoke with us for a good amount of time each each shall truly care about their food. Many of their food ingredients are imported from Italy. Everything is authentic as you would find in a legitimate Italian restaurant from Italy. I came to this restaurant on the recommendation of Honest America review. Spot on I would give this restaurant five stars easily.

You've been in business for years so you should know that Mother's Day brings in more families. Secondly, at no time was the place more than 2/3 full. There wasn't a line or standing room only. Let's talk about the service. There were two waitresses that we saw. We will call them Waitress A and Waitress B. Waitress A was our waitress. At least we think she was. We barely saw her enough to be sure. The hostess had to come to our table to ask if we had menus. We had to stop Waitress B as she walked by so we could get bread and oil that every other table got when they sat down. Twenty minutes after we arrived we were able to place our order. As we waited, we watched the table beside us place their order, eat, leave, had a new group of people sit down, order, eat, and get ready to leave before are food arrived. Plus, we were a table of three, but we watched a table of eight come in fifteen minutes after us and get their food before us. What did those two tables have in common? They were waited on by Waitress B. Waitress A was only seen when she had something in her hands from the kitchen. Apparently, she waits in the kitchen and brings out food as it gets ready. What she doesn't do is stay in the dining room to check on her customers. My daughter flagged her down to get a refill of Dr Pepper, she brought back a glass of Sprite. Those aren't even the same color. Just for the record, by the time we left, we didn't see a single table of Waitress A have a single dish of food other than bread and oil. Time for the food. And by "time for the food", I mean 45 minutes after we ordered it. I'm writing this review as soon as I got home because I will not remember a single thing about the food tomorrow. It was mediocre, at best. I can't remember every dish that was listed, but I do remember reading most of them trying to find one that didn't include spaghetti. There are better noodle out there! About the only positive thing I can say about this place is that it was clean. Oh, and also it was a little cheaper than most Italian restaurants in the area. Next time, I'll pay more for better.

We were greeted by the owners and the staff for the evening, and given a few options for dining locations as we didn't have a reservation and they had a large group being sat just after us. We loved that had an opportunity to dine at a table in the "jail" section. The restaurant was packed but it still felt warm and cozy for our date night meal. We had multiple, fantastic servers taking care of us. I didn't get to capture the appetizer, the spinach and artichoke dip, but it was literally the best I've ever had and I even make my own! It was full of artichokes and spinach and it was in an amazingly light and fluffy white whipped dip served with fresh made breads onsite and pretzel bites from a local vendor. Our cocktails and wine were amazing. Then our main course arrived! One of our waiters was new and said the filet was the best he'd ever had, and he wasn't wrong! We travel often and dine all over, these filets were cut and prepared to perfection! We took his recommendation to add the blue cheese and blackened topper and it was phenomenal! The steaks literally cut like butter and melted in your mouth! Charred Pittsburgh style, medium rare and heavenly. Placed on a bed of mashed potatoes that blended in the warm blue cheese and asparagus, this meal made me feel like I was at NYC or Chicago's top steakhouses! If you live local or just passing through like us, don't miss this experience!!! It was absolutely delicious and at the top of my list for best steaks!!!
