Closed 12 minutes early, full counter force behind the deli. Customers are not welcome in and they wouldn't even come to the door.

I am standing outside on a Monday, no explanation, full staff behind the counters and it is 3:48pm and they are locked up tight. I don't care how good a place might be if they can't honor their hours or put up a sign to justify closing shop early, I will never return. I will rate this deli zero out of 5 for the ridiculous lack of service. They need to adjust the business hours as 4pm is not being followed- maybe call it 3:30pm Monday to Sunday. Waste of my time.

Prima has amazing sandwiches. The bread is so good and there are a lot of great options. It's a little bit slow, especially during the lunch hour, but if you have time to wait it's worth it. There are a few tables inside but I prefer ordering to go.

Get the Italian. Great sandwich, less expensive than the comp and consistently delicious.

Been coming here for years. Godfather is great. California chicken pesto is my son's favorite. Ravioli and side are great too.

One of the best sandwich spots on the peninsula. I am 51 and this place has been opened since I was in junior high. That says a lot.

Love Prima! Great sandwiches! A classic deli in Redwood City. They are one of the only places I can find Pineapple Crush soda.

I stopped in for a sandwich before heading to work, and it hit the spot. The sandwiches are big, flavorful, and filling. I ordered the #2 Smokin Sequoia and was not disappointed. I did not even know it existed, and now I am wondering how I missed out for so long. A huge bonus is that my partner enjoys hookah from time to time, and this place does both sandwiches and hookah really well. The sandwiches are unique and full of flavor, and the hookah options are just as impressive. My partner loved it, and we both agreed we will definitely be coming back. We arrived right when hookah service started at 5 pm, which is when you can place hookah orders every day. The Dutch crunch roll was absolutely amazing. I am already craving it again and would recommend getting any sandwich on that bread. It is a must try and easily a ten out of ten. The location is in downtown Redwood City with plenty of parking available all around. I can tell this place gets very busy during peak hours and on weekends. By the time we left, it was already packed, even on a Monday night.

WHAT IN THE DELICATESSEN IS GOING ON HERE AT MO'S??!!…read more First, check out my pics, then absolutely get here as soon as possible to enjoy some crazy delicious sammies and other treats! Tiny little baby deli on the edge of Belmont and San Carlos border, nice peeps serving up some seriously nice quality deli goodness. Tiny shopping center on El Camino Real with baby parking lot, lots of street parking free on the boulevard. I ordered the Sanburger 2 and chocolate croissant. Words cannot do the sammie justice, except that it's a dang Big Mac, but no burger and healthy! Whaaaaattt???!! Yes, you read that right. I want to eat this sammie everyday. Recommendation, get the sammie as they serve it for the Big Mac replica effect. There are Sanburgers 1-5. The one I ordered is 2, roast beef. They melt the American cheese on the sliced roast beef, then placed on the sesame seeded bun with shredded lettuce, mustard, MO's special sauce and lots of lovin'. When I took my first bite, I said out loud, "Am I eating a Big Mac?!" Very creative are these folks. The chocolate croissant speaks for itself. It's fully loaded flaky croissant goodness and it's huge! Head over to Mo's for an excellent sammie experience! Plan for to-go as it is very tiny, however, there are tables and outside area, too. The location used to be a Subway for years. Very nice new flavor in town. I believe they opened in 2024. I will definitely return!

I came with my dad and two kids, and I ordered 3 things, each of which went on its own tray, while carrying my daughter. An employee came by to help me bring the trays to the table which was unnecessary but totally appreciated! The food was exactly what I expected, but that's a good thing - it's very comforting, large portions of hearty meals. I think the biggest downside to my experience was the other diners. This place is patronized by some of the most curmudgeonly elderly folks I have ever met. A man literally came up to the front of the line to scold us for not lining up correctly? I'm not a regular, sorry I don't know how the line usually works, but I did line up exactly as everyone else before me. My kids are pretty well behaved and cute, and usually passersby at least smile at them, but not here! The whole meal felt like I was carrying two screaming children on a transatlantic flight. I thought a woman sitting near us was giving me the stinkeye the whole time, but maybe I was imagining it. The cherry on top was another woman who came into the bathroom while I was washing my daughter's hands after she used the potty. This other woman was coughing like crazy and looked at us then made some sort of sound that frightened my daughter quite a bit and never bothered to apologize or smile or anything??? 4 stars for the establishment -5 stars for the other customers, shame on y'all

Today was horrifically disappointing. Being on a fixed budget we are barbecuing here at home and so I went to get some roasted vegetables to accompany the meat. When I got there it was not roasted vegetables day it was steamed vegetables which was fine. I asked for 1 quart and 1 pint of the steamed vegetables. That's all. When it was time to pay they said I owed $31.‼‼‼ I said "are you kidding? " She said no that's the price. $18 for a quart of simple broccoli cauliflower and carrots steamed. It wasn't two dollars worth of vegetables. That is a total rip off. $18 and nine dollars. I had to buy them because I had no other choice since the meal was starting soon. I want buyers to be beware. It's a rip off!! there is no way you can justify $31 for a quart and pint of plain steamed vegetables.

Solid sandwich spot in Redwood City located right along the intersection of Broadway and El Camino!…read moreThey do have a parking lot but it's super small, probably only enough space for five cars. They have a couple of tables to sit at inside, all with barstool seating. The menu was extensive, but didn't seem to be as varied as the other Ike's location I went to. I'm interested to see how the menu changes across locations. Ordered the Hot Mama and got a bag of chips for checking in on Yelp. The sandwich was ready in around 10 minutes and was sizable. The chicken tasted like a rotisserie chicken from Costco (in other words, quality) and the Frank's Red Hot added some good spice while keeping the chicken from being too dry. However, when the Frank's ran out, the sandwich was a little bland. This is no way affected my rating, but they had an older digital POS system (it only takes card, no Apple Pay) that was a little hard to use; the cashier had to show me how to swipe my card through it. I thought this was kinda cool, cause I mainly see businesses using Toast, Clover, or Square terminals. For the amount of food you get for the price (around $13) and the quality of the meat, Ike's is definitely worth stopping by.
