Since the restaurant is known for its fresh pasta, I expected it to be the highlight of the meal, but it didn't taste particularly fresh or memorable. The chicken served with the pasta was also very dry. It's a lovely place to visit for the view and atmosphere, but based on this experience, the food didn't quite live up to the setting.

The meals we ordered were good, great portions and flavor. 4- stars only because our server looked a bit annoyed during our entire time there. My steak came out bland though, and I had to ask for salt. They brought me some sea salt in a small bowl and it made a huge difference once I sprinkled it on. For a $45+ steak, it shouldn't need that. The salad that came with it was just arugula and tomatoes, no dressing, which was a bit disappointing. The presentation was also a miss. Loved their old fashioned. Would order it again. The kids loved the calamari, though I thought it was a little too chewy. Overall a good spot, just wish the steak came out seasoned properly. Would still go back for the pasta and drinks.

I have to confess... I've probably been guilty of gatekeeping this gem for years…read more I've been coming to Basilico for a long time, and yet never got around to writing the review it deserves. This week I realized it was time to share it with my Yelp family. From the moment you walk in, you're treated like family. Even if I haven't been there in months, I'm welcomed back as if I was there last week. That kind of genuine hospitality is rare. Over the years I've worked my way through just about everything on the menu. Most of the time I don't even order anymore--I simply ask, "What am I eating today?" They know what I like, and I trust them completely. Whether it's a pasta special, a wine recommendation, or something I've never tried before, they've never steered me wrong. Speaking of wine, their list is excellent. I'm perfectly happy letting them choose a bottle or glass for me, and I've discovered several favorites that way. On this visit I finally ordered the Flank Steak (Vacio de los Andes a la Parrilla), and all I can say is... wow. It was cooked perfectly, incredibly tender, and full of flavor. Honestly, it rivaled steaks I've had at restaurants that specialize in nothing but steak. One tip: if you're coming for lunch, arrive a little early. This cozy spot fills up quickly, and once you've eaten here you'll understand why. Basilico isn't flashy. More like cozy and intimate, excellent for good conversation. It's simply one of those rare neighborhood restaurants that gets the important things right--great food, wonderful people, and consistency year after year. Some places become favorites because of one great meal. Basilico became one of mine because they've been delivering them for years.

I happened to pass by Bugatti Bistro on my daily walk and spotted a sign for Lasagna Wednesday --…read moremy interest was immediately piqued. We booked a reservation in advance through OpenTable to make sure we'd have a spot, and the process was quick and easy. Upon arriving, we were greeted and seated right away. Our server, who was doing double duty as host, was charming and friendly throughout the meal. Since we'd mentioned in our OpenTable request that we were there for the lasagna, he suggested a couple of starters and brought out water and bread with aged balsamic and oil -- yum. We went with the calamari, which was flash-fried to perfection. I'd been angling for the Caesar salad but got overruled by my wife -- no complaints there, though; it did not disappoint. Since our order was already set from the reservation, we skipped the menu entirely, and the lasagna arrived shortly after we'd polished off the calamari. Calling it one of the top two lasagnas I've ever had is not an exaggeration -- completely decadent, exactly what I'd hoped for, and worth the few days' wait to get a table. For dessert, we shared a tiramisu along with a cortadito for me and a macchiato for my wife -- again, outstanding. My wife pulled up the full menu on her phone while we waited for dessert, and everything looked great, so we'll definitely be back to explore more of it. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and impeccably clean. You'd never guess this place has been in business for over 40 years -- it's clearly been well cared for and updated over the years. This spot is officially in my regular rotation. To management: you're doing a phenomenal job with your waitstaff, kitchen, and upkeep of what's clearly a neighborhood gem.

This one is the first I tried and wasn't aware it was right next to Bulla which is another one on the list. Anyways, for $50 I got to order an antipasto, but me pasta and a dessert. First of all, the service here is top notch and they're very diligent. Started with a glass of Pinot Grigio and opted for these options... Antipasto: caprese. Simple yet fresh and made with high quality ingredients. That burrata was to die for to be honest. The olive oil has to be imported because you can tell it was made in a Tuscan hill somewhere in Italy, I think. But yeah you get the point...delizioso. Entree: Linguine con Frutti di Mare. Delicious seafood pasta with clams, calamari, shrimp tossed with linguine in a white wine clam sauce and tomatoes. Again, fresh ingredients without a doubt. And you get the regular portion. Dolci: cheesecake. It wasn't memorable to be honest. A little strawberry drizzle on the side didn't elevate it either so I'd just order a different one next time. The place attracts more of an older crowd and I see why. It's not super aesthetically pleasing to those who prefer the more boujie joints but sometimes less is more.

It's a tiny, cozy, old-school Greek restaurant that feels like the kind of neighborhood spot that has been serving locals forever. The place is small and intimate, but that's part of the charm. You can tell this is a spot where the locals know the owners and come back regularly. The food is traditional Greek comfort food done right. The lamb gyro was delicious--great flavor and exactly what you want when you're craving a good gyro. The homemade coleslaw was also surprisingly good and definitely worth trying. And you can't leave without trying the homemade Greek baklava. It was really good and a perfect way to finish the meal. They also have cold Greek beer, which pairs perfectly with the food. The service was excellent. Since the restaurant is so small, you get that personal, almost family-style service. The woman working there was incredibly nice and spoke both English and Spanish, which makes the experience even more welcoming. You can also tell she knows the food and Greek culture very well. There was also an older gentleman sitting at the counter who I'm assuming is the owner. He definitely gave off those full-blown Greek, old-school owner vibes . You can tell there's a lot of history and pride behind this little place. The ambiance is nothing fancy--and that's exactly why I liked it. Small, cozy, authentic, and very old school. It feels like a neighborhood restaurant that has stayed true to what it is instead of trying to become something trendy. If you're in Miami Springs and want a delicious gyro in a relaxed, local atmosphere, definitely give My Little Greek Deli a try. Great food. Great service. Cold Greek beer. Old-school vibes. Lots of locals. I'll definitely be coming back!
